Ryu Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 I know basic combos for Sol. Yes, I didn't know what to do during 2HS CH because it doesn't come up often in matches and I haven't trained on it. Sadly, I cannot Dust Loop. I can do like three Dusts, but after that it stops for me and this is only on one variation of Dust Loop. I know how to do that air combo you've posted, but I can't really FRC Gun Flame very easily. There's a 30% chance I'll FRC it. I also know about VV and BR and their punishes, but I'm not sure how to go about poking and pressuring safely. I know this is a few pages back but a good combanation to use with sol is every time you 2D use bandit revolver. It leads into his dust loop. (event if you dont use the loop it still gives knock down so its very useful anyway) I cant do Sols dust loop very well but the basics of it jk, jd, jc, js, jd repeat. There are 4 moves that I know of that lead into it. The one I just say Gunflame (frc? not shure if you need to use the frc), bandit ranger, and command grab. I did that towards the Ky player(so I switched accordingly), yet the character danced right into the corner, missing my combo and missing my momentum. It just flew out of the window just like that. There's also a part in it where my VV loses to his VT, this has happened multiple times actually. As for dustloop, just stand in the corner with either anji or venom, run towards 6P5H j.D->j.D |> j.D->j.D and when you got that down you start learning to run after the first 2, so you do something like 6P5H9D->D,669D->D,669D->D,669D->D,669K-D,dj.S-D,HVVK.

This is just my personal (maybe bias) opinion but Im starting to think that Venom is the strongest on the game (well if anyone brings out his full potential) because he is the only person who's pressure seriously has no holes in it. It really never ends. At my current skill level I cant come back an win with 5% health when the other char has 75%; but I have with Venom on more than one occasion. Not with Eddie, not with Jam (you know top tier peeps) but Venom. Case in point; view match below. Just imagine if i was good. 0_0
