Haha,i use that ghost pressure too now and then,and get disc'ed often because of it >.< You didn't FD the right hits,Hayato. FD the 5S and 5H and the explosion won't hit.. i know it works,i ate air throws from the ones that know how to escape it :vbang: I prefer using 5P 5S j.H it's tighter,but still escapeable heh..

I'm not sure about that, but if you instant block the ghost explosion when he jumps toward you in the string, you should be able to catch him when he lands... Or if he's too far try your 214+K catch, as he always did the same attack... Otherwise try to 1 frame jump and get free.

i didn't know anyone was watching. The reason that happened was because i got a phone call and was using the phone in one hand and had the dpad in the other, lucky for me waffle was nice and didn't destroy me until the phone call ended.

i also didn't know u can get the replay file just by viewing.

Some great matches today! Been practicing throws and air throws. LOL I grabbed Vici out of burst. I think he got pissed after that though cuz he dustlooped me to death. hahaha In the match I won against Vici I stole one of N-Otoko's moves. (a easy one lol) K ball summon 66, 84, j.p. That works really well too. I did well with ball formations that round too. (personally I think im weak in that area) In a match against a testament I had him in lock down the whole second match. Almost got a perfect but I got tripped at the end. And OMG I was just playing around with I-No (believe it or not it was part of my venom training) of and realized her throw mixup is crazy. I got pwned the first round trying to do it but the second round i got about 5 or 6 throws.

You did well in the first and last match. You just got caught with a unblockabout in round two and made a lot of mistakes in round three. Just learn to use your counters better. Eddie has weak defense so just destroy little Eddie with 6h (if he tries to get close use the guard point) every time and pwn. I'm not a expert with anji nor to I claim to be but it seems to me that against that particular eddie your biggest problems would be drill attack and guarding eddies block string on wake up. :eng101:

One thing I've noticed while playing vs Eddie is that Anji's air-to-ground can't really compete with Eddie's various forms of anti-air, most of which leave you on the ground ready to die. Another thing is that it's often difficult (for me at least) to hit Eddie out of his jumping kick, so I prefer to guard point it, as it can be extremely predictable. The only problem I've found with that is the occasional random gallery. I've also tried to move away from 6HS, broken as it may be, as much as possible and replace it with other guards, since whiffing or getting blocked while using that move is practically a death sentence against certain characters. :vbang: I (and surely most Anji players) have noticed people clearly attempting to bait and punish 6HS and in my experience using a different guard with less cooldown often leaves you at a neutral point if they don't follow through, or with them up in the air eating Kou or whatnot if they do. Same deal with Kai imo. I often only use K Kai when I have the tension for RC or after huge, confusing blockstrings because the cooldown is just too huge otherwise. Anyway, as was previously mentioned, Eddie is lacking an efficient way of getting out of pressure, so it's a matchup that often goes to whoever knocks who down first/the most. Knock him down and then stay on him like a maddened, fan-wielding animal. :yaaay:

Thanks for the info guys.Well Ryu i have to say my priority against any eddie is avoiding drills lol,against this particular one,knockdown=lost round =\ But i still eat some,yea. As for using 6H,i usually try to go for 6K but you know,being desperate changes your game,haha.6H is nice too since you can cancel into shitsu on block,FRC on whiff and ofc lots of GP heh. All eddies love to j.K and it's definitely predictable,jumping on anji's not a good idea. However being able to hit with j.K then block makes this annoying. Staying in the air,that's an old problem of mine.I try to use it just to run away from corner rape now XD,sj etc. I have to drop the fuujin jump habit as well,good guys grab me as soon as i land and i'm fucked. You're welcome vxnine,i have like 14-15k replays by now so if you want any specific char raping me i might have it -_- Ochoubson's tough,but he's a quitter and his attitude is bad,check out Camo's link for details

LOL I know what you mean. (sometimes I try to use Dark angle when you 6h) Would it be a problem for eddie though? I dont know I was thinking like at the end of the match maybe eddie would sacrifice little eddies and use drill as a counter for 6h.

Edit: Since my anji is noobish I dont see how 6h would whiff against little eddie. I mean it seems like itd be hard to miss. it has a frc point. Maybe only use it with 25% tension to be completely safe?
