Alt Posted December 20, 2007 Author Posted December 20, 2007 OP updated with latest info. Still no release date but the game play footage makes it look neat. Changeable character equipment doesn't bode well for game balance if you can use it in real matches.

SolxBaiken Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 This is going to be a great game IMO, I only have 2 major questions: Who's going to be in the FINAL roster; and how the hell do you play this!? I mean it looks very beautiful but confusing....I hope the control scheme is good and doesn't stray to far from a conventional fighter. I want to see: Yuffie (VII), Faris (V), Setzer (VI), Fujin (VIII), Quistis (VIII), and Lightning (XIII)

Thank fucking GOD Kefka is confirmed now, this makes me extremely happy since I've been holding out for him since the beginning. exdeath is cool too actually... and so is golbez, but I care more about FF4 protagonists.

Terra is the most likely, as all the characters have EX-Modes, and her Esper form is a given. Locke doesn't really have anything special or distinguishing enough to be a second mode.

I played FF1 all the time, but I was very young and therefore stupid so I always got stuck on Marsh Cave and ended up restarting, so I got to see Garland quite a bit and grew rather fond of that line. They should totally make a direct sequel to FF1 with Garland as the main villain, maybe then i would actually play another FF game.
