  1. If you can find me that article I'd love to read it
  2. \ You should check out this thread http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7848&highlight=blazblue+hate
  3. wow that was quick where did you pick it up? Over here they are at all the EB stores in my city. Very easy to find.
  4. I was suggesting the HRAP for the PS2 if you wanted it for that system. PS3 has the SFIV stick which I would recommend. I stated earlier in the post why. Usually with the HRAP people would replace the buttons with Sanwa or the other brand. Its not hard to mod thats why, same with SFIV stick too. I've never owned a HRAP but at the time I was shopping for a pair of sticks for my PS2 the HRAP always came up in discussions and I figured it was the best pair of sticks I could get for my PS2.
  5. I recommend you not get the stick. It's utter crap If you want a good stick for the PS2 pick up a HRAP For the Xbox or PS2 you can pick up the SFIV sticks as they are widely available. Do not get the stick you linked us to its just not worth it unless you want to mod it yourself. Edit: If you already own the stick then the only way to make it worth using is to mod it which will be difficult for those who aren't familiar with modding these sticks. All the questions you ask above is "Yes" it is normal for those types of sticks to do that because its a piece of junk. Normally with a high quality stick you will never experience any of that. Buttons are extremely sensitive which means you don't even need to press it but slightly tap it.The Ball top should never come off it should be screwed in tight. Buttons spacing can feel a little tight at times with sticks. I guess if your not use to it then it is actually a common thing.
  6. I have my computer hooked up to the HDTV so breaking out old games is quit easy. Just click on the emu and your already started. Great way to stay in touch with the classics and they look awesome with filters too.

  7. oh yhaa lol I play my PSX games on EMU now they look a lot nicer than my PS2 on the HDTV..

  8. hey bj I'm at work right now but go ahead and post your FC. I'll post mine up once I get home which probably would be in 8 hours or so lol. If you have msn please add me (c2ironfist@hotmail.com). I have a group of guys on msn who are on who like to play occasionally (It's been quiet though the past month with people having exams etc). We mainly have friendly games and if anyone has problems with certian play style or anything we try to adjust for each other. Games can get heated at times in JUS due to it's brokeness so we try to keepe everyone happy :) My suggestion is not play on Random worste thing you can do unless you want to get upset playing against cheap players or hackers. We all try to help each other out too to make competition more fun and enjoyable. We have 1v1, 2v2 and 4FFA matches all the time and they are great fun. Anyways hopefully I'll catch you on messenger if you have it :) or Google talk (c2ironfist@gmail.com) oh yhaa names jimmy btw

  9. hey bj Sure I don't mind. Do you play often? I only play by one rule though actually two. No support and no Time Stop. :)

    Baiken in #R

I'm only using #R to practice Stick. I've had major difficulties with just basic movements, especially instant air dashing to the right. It's getting better though as I'm practicing and getting more comfertable. I've had AC for a while now but it's very difficult to find anyone to play with. #R is probably the only way I get to play against people but even on there there are rarely many people who log in. I have very little experience so I'll probably need any kind of competition I can get. btw: Loved your matches on youtube Thanks guys for the input

    Baiken in #R

Hey Guys I wasn't sure exactly where to ask this but I'm wondering if it was ok to practice Baiken in #R for AC Play. I just got playing GG since AC. I have a 360 Joystick and I'm trying to practice using Stick. It's a huge difference from the PS2 Pad. Of course I don't have a Stick for the PS2 so I have to make do with what I have until I get a stick for AC. Stick works for the 360 and my PC and I have #R for both. Anything I should consider while training? This includes, combos, moves, timing differences etc. I'm only at the beginning stages where I'm re-training moves and basic combos but of course as I go along and get better I'm sure there will be differences. Any suggestions? Thanks
  12. hey Hebi I don't really have a main. It's been so long but I do like to play with Wing Gundam the one with the cool wings lol. I hate using the big boss Gundam's though those guys are just too broken.

  13. I'm getting a lot better at doing it... really appreciate the help here. I'm more consistent but I still make a few mistakes.. I'll have to practice harder lol. but knowing the 956 was the key. doing 676 wasn't bad but I found it a bit harder.
  14. I'm just working on learning how to perform basic moves correctly but the added info will help me down the road when I get better. Thanks
  15. I'm using the SE SFIV joystick and it works great. I modded it with Sanwa Parts and its perfectly fine. I also have a 2nd joystick for friends when they come over and it works well too. Good thing about the SE version is that it's a good introductory stick for a good price and if you ever want to get serious you can modd it easily.
  16. appreciate the post I'll test it out when I get home. all I've been doing lately is re-learning how to move. GG is such a fast game that you can easily mess up moves.
  17. I hope this is the right place to ask but I've been having joystick problems since day one for 2D fighters (3D fighters I have no problem using stick at all especially VF) Now I kept at it and getting a lot better but still not as good as pad. The one major problem I have at the moment and it has always been a problem is "instant air dash to the right". That kills me all the time I can do it to the left easily with my thumb but doing it to the right is soo difficult. What are some recommendations on pulling off an instant air dash to the right would be with a stick? Example hand placement etc.. I dunno its quit difficult for me. My technique is to use mainly the index finger and my thumb, thats what I find most comfertable but hitting "9" really quick twice just won't work that way.
  18. hey tai Just added you up on messenger.

  19. even worse than those SNK and Capcom bosses? I'd look it up myself but info on Isuka is very very hard to come by. Even on here I can't find anything about Isuka.... and this is Dustloop. edit: Found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpeBMhtjraI damn thats an ugly boss
  20. hey thanks for the friend request.. yaaaa! I made my first friend here lol :)

  21. hey guys thanks for the input. I'll avoid it. I have too many games anyways. I'm always looking for an excuse to buy more lol
  22. This game is actually for the kids. Pair them up with one of the adults there and have a 2v2 or 4 player free for all (I hope there is a 4 FFA available) Its just another idea for a party fighter for everyone. Usually when we have get together everyone gets super tired playing too seriously lol. I'm sure if you had very good competition you get exhausted playing competitively. So what your saying is pass on the idea?
  23. Seeing how we are on the subject of Isuka... can anyone provide any more info on the game? I'm interested in picking it up for multi-player party-ness. It's not something I'm seriously going to try to get into but I thought it would be a fun group game. Any feedback at all? Thanks
