Slashback is GG's version of parry. FRC is force roman cancel, which is like rapid cancel from BB but only takes 25% meter and can only be done during certain frames of animation, regardless if it hits or not. http://dustloop.com/guides/ggac/

WTF, I have an account and I can't read it anymore. Basically, the article said how Arc Systems is going to focus on BB instead of GG and if GG were to come back, there would be no slashbacks and FRCs. The interviewer suggested more lenient FRC timings and while the staff member agreed it was a good idea, their goal is to make GG more accessible to people, essentially what Super 4 has done to the SF series. They want to make a new GG but it won't be for a while.

I linked ImperialSport from SRK to here, haha. But yeah, Ottawa's more based on SRK, mainly because it's already a pretty close knit group.

Yeah, it's $109.99 compared to the $129.99 on the website. It's a decent deal if you wanted some limited edition swag. I've been eyeing the thing ever since it was announced. Haha, actually, when I was in Ottawa, I was the "tech" guy for the city. I've done numerous repairs and mods so I've got myself covered. Also, for pocket change, I charged $30 for repairs and single stick wiring, $40 for multi mods, $50 for anything adventurous (supergun, slim sticks, etc). I think this pricing was the fairest, as on SRK, you'll get people charging $60 USD for just a dual mod. This is just for labour, not including parts. However, with that said, I provided a couple of spare parts from time to time because I have a shit ton of buttons and joysticks. With that said, if anyone needs parts for something, hit me up first. I may have it and due to me not having a job, I'll prolly let it go for a cheaper price.

I normally have a 360 but I left it in Ottawa with a friend. I used to play Millia back in #R so I guess I'll pick her up again.

I'll try to make it more often on Fridays. I can usually make it any night but around 10pmish. Also, watching people play, I wanna learn GGAC.

Where the hell was this thread when I was living in Ottawa? You'll find a couple of people who play BBCS at SRK's regional threads. I've tried my best to get the game rolling and there are some devouts but not nearly as I liked. Still, it's a solid and growing scene so you should even check them out at SRK (I'll redirect them to this thread too). While it's not an official game, BBCT made a pretty good appearance at Battle Royale LAN. I assume BBCS is going to do the same. Even if it isn't, I'll be bringing my setup. I'd play some of you guys if I had my 360 setup but until then, have fun finding more players!
