Nice. I'm recording at 13Mbps at 720p so we should have similar results. The bitrate is so wide that the computer that's recording it can't even play it back without stuttering (there's a your mama joke in there somewhere...). Only issue is that I'm on component and the wires that it came with have bad shielding so there's some ghosting. I miiiiiiiiight be able to come next week Monday for about an hour from 6. I really won't be able to get anything done but I just want to check the place out for myself.

Robo-Ky is definitely hilarious. His specifics are just so off the wall that I'm having a ton of fun just playing him. A completely different experience than playing Millia (although I'm too addicted to that speed). Good to hear your progress. We'll be here as soon as you're ready so don't rush things unnecessarily. We need to get some Skullgirls and GG matches in. ETA or any word on moving the days back on Tuesdays? My Mondays are completely packed so I definitely can't make it then. With that upload, I definitely want to stream something.

Sorry for being hella inactive on DL, guys. Been busy and trying to keep up with everything is trading its toll on me. That said... HQ now has a recording station. We can't quite stream because the internet at HQ is terrible for uploading anything. I'm looking into getting an overlay for score keeping and I'll have some mics set up for some commentary and/or shit talking. It's good to see you guys talk stuff out and it's good seeing other people jumping in our thread. Keep the effort up, guys. I promise you, this will all pay off. As I've only been able to play Rigel, I haven't got much practice in GG, much less anything else. Still, I've taken a liking to Robo-Ky so I'll resort to him when I've had my beatings as Millia. I'm thinking of holding ranbats for GG or any other game, record them and upload to a YouTube channel. This way, we can have footage of our play and see where we need to improve. Anyway, I'm gonna go back to eating lunch. I'll update the first post with IDs when I get the chance.

I only have one question regarding Bang changes. If FRKZ is now his overdrive, does this mean Bang no longer has his theme song when he overdrives? Is there another way of getting it? Because I'm not hearing it in any of these new videos. And that is a crime against humanity.

Since the Blazblue stick is dual modded, I've gone ahead and modded one of the Wii Tatsunoko vs. Capcom sticks with Seimitsu parts. It works well with the Wii > USB adapter. I'm modding another one just in case everyone forgets to bring a PS3 stick.

The Blazblue stick is dual modded with auto-detection so you can just plug it in and go. There's also the PS3 Round 1 TE. We have a guy here who loves KOF, to the point where he makes other people play it. So I play it only with normals. There was someone else I knew that went to MAD that was from Ottawa who went to play Gundam but he was an acquaintance of someone that came to Ottawa HQ infrequently.

Double posting because I can. The HQ PS3 now has GG so that can be used as a GG/BB/P4U station when necessary.

Yeah, I'm aiming after the new year, as right now, there's a lot of holiday stuff that most of us are going through (exams definitely being one of them). I'm hoping the Algonquin Tuesdays and HQ Thursdays would be the most optimal days though.

So I spent like 4 hours grinding Millia today while testing new arcade sticks. Apparently, my right dashing is worse than my left dashing. Or, I could just be tired as fuck.

The hell is "Guilt Gear"? lolololololololololol But yeah, GG's the game to learn if you want to be good at games. I definitely won't discourage any games that gets brought up (hell, I'll even play KOF). I just think that having a good common game would help everyone understand fundamentals and whatnot. Most of us on Xbox anyway so GG is definitely accessible.

Even without your car, I was thinking of renting a vehicle and making the trip down to Montreal for weekends. I'm 25 (oh God, so old) so renting a car is pretty cheap.

It's definitely both. This thread is mainly to provide a resource to people who want to play something other than the Capcom games. Arguably, Arksys games are probably the next in line in terms of popularity. On top of that, both the Toronto and the Montreal communities are confirmed for bro tier (AirMaster got here before I even finished some of the posts) and are great people. I'd like for us to get familiar to the games featured here and familiar with the communities here, as they can only really help us get better. No homo, I swear.
