I play Bang but I'm still used to CT Bang. No idea how to play him in CS1/2. I'll add you if I've got some time today.

Hey guys. Just wanted to pop in to say thanks for coming to Ottawa to play some BlazBlue. I'm sorry that you guys came over to Ottawa to only have two Ottawa players show up, haha. ImperialSport was busy with life, Texas could only drop by for a couple of minutes and I was running the AE and Marvel brackets. I'll definitely get them to come next time and I'll try to make it so that I can enter as well. @kaeru: Man, I love Bang mirrors. It was only two matches but that was fun. I gotta get back into it. I swear to god I'll pull off that carry combo one day. @Nini: You blew me up with that name change on Marvel. Good shit on 1st place, your Dante/Zero and your money match. Once again, thanks for coming. As long as you guys want it, I'll always run BB. Cheers.

Hey guys. Just dropping in to tell you guys about fucking terrible I am at BB another Ottawa tourney. CS2 is there and I'd like to see you guys there for it again. I know some of you have taken up MVC3 and Ottawa's pretty hilarious at MVC3. Here's another link to explain it all.

Ottawa ran pools to allow for more play (and for other reasons as well) and we knew that the entrants for BB would mainly just play BB. Seeding wasn't the biggest impetus for pools, even though I personally think it did a good job of that. Of course, I wasn't there for the latest one and I know that it hit the fan real hard when it came down to Marvel. I wouldn't run pools for MAT either and I especially don't have a chance now.

Yeah, I read some of his changes and I thought they were appropriate changes but when it dropped, it felt really foreign. There are a lot of things I'm still getting used to. Just simple things like the untech time for 2C or that 5D is quicker but doesn't launch anymore. I'm inconsistent as fuck on the corner carry (assuming that's the 6C IAD 6C 623B push). My execution is easily the worst aspect of my play so I'll get it like once every three tries. Still, his corner damage is hilarious, especially off command grab. I haven't bothered learning the FRKZ j6C loop because I noticed seals were pretty tough. I haven't watched any pro play yet as well so I'm strictly going off what I've seen in the challenge mode. I need to get that grind on.

I don't think either of them are coming this time around. And yeah, I'm been messing around with Bang a little bit and trying out his corner pushes and combos. I'd participate but I'm still at a phase where I reflex to his old stuff and it ruins it (his most basic CT BnB is gone!) I still might play just for the heck of it, since I haven't even really tested him out on people yet. See how far 5A gets me. Any other Bang players around? I remember kaeru played Bang but no idea if he's sticking by the art of manliness. Still, excited about smoked meat and poutine.

Alright, going to MAT then. I might just only watch though. CS2 dropped and I now know only one Bang BnB.

How close is MAT to either Schwartz or La Banquise? Yes, this is important.

Hey guys, remember me? The dude from Ottawa? Yeah. I won't be able to make it. I have overtime on Friday (yay for working on Easter!). I -might- be able to make it by starting work early, ending it as fast as I can and catching a bus to Montreal and get there for like..8. Would that be a good time? Would that be worth it? As short notice as it is, I can react to it and I would like to get my shit kicked in by Lord Knight. To whoever it was, I don't have your VGA cable and I don't know if we actually had any spares that night. We can definitely look for it though. On that note, we're having another tourney on May 7th. The prize for top 3 (besides the cash pool) is AH3! So if you guys want a free copy, head on up on the 7th.

Hey, is this April 22/23rd tourney only BB? Or is it like a MTLSF thing as well? I don't see anything on SRK... Just wondering because if it's just weeaboo games, then I most likely won't be able to find a ride to Montreal. But I'm pretty convinced to just fucking bus it. One of you is going to have to pick me up though.

Hey, that MTL tourney sounds really good (thanks for the heads up, pochp!). So, because of it, gonna be getting on XBLA. I remember couple of you guys on it, just wondering if you guys would be down for training sessions.

Yeah, I'm the only organizer that plays BB. You had a very crisp Bang and I was wondering how well my shenanigan-filled Bang would do. I wasn't able to play outside of casuals due to running the event.

Hey guys. I figured I check up on you guys on Monday instead of Sunday because you guys had that tourney at home. Thanks for showing up to Ottawa and playing some games! Definitely really appreciated that you guys made the trip to play with us. I know it's a bit strenuous to come to Ottawa every month but try and make it out as much as possible. We'll have some good times. Shoutout to Nini for being the first Makoto player I've actually played. That god damn j.5C(?) and overhead is brutal. During those matches, I realize she has gimmicks to rely on but I wouldn't say she's a low tier character. Shoutout to Kirbster for being a Rachel player and getting second. Rep that low tier! Shoutout to pochp for having a name I couldn't pronounce. Was that other Bang player also from Montreal? The guy who was on a stick and with his girl? I wanted to play his Bang as well but we didn't have two sticks on the same console. He had way better execution than I did. If you guys come over, I'll try and see if I can enter the tournament. I really wanted to play all of you but just couldn't afford to do it running the games. I hope you guys had a good time and continue playing! Next time, I'll make sure to get sound. :P

LOL, unsure about a microwave but I'm gonna bank on no. The venue is a banquet hall and there is a canteen for beer but we won't be supplying a microwave. If you guys can convince the guy who runs the canteen who might have a microwave to let you guys use it, there might be?

From personal experience, it takes 2.5 hours from MTL to OT. 2 if you speed. I'll try to show you guys a good time around Ottawa but besides underage drinking (which we use Hull for) and pub food, there isn't too much to offer. Still, thanks for heading over.

At work, risking it. METAL GEAR SOLID DON'T FAIL ME NOW If you guys bring your own consoles, we'll have TVs and monitors. My 360 has the DLC characters and Mu and we're working to get them playable for other 360s but if shit hits the fan, I'll make sure you guys play on the stations that have DLC/Mu on them. Anything else I need to prep for BBCS? And I definitely need to go back to Montreal. Trolling people at Amusement and getting fat at La Banquise is god tier.

Hey guys, Ottawa here. I'm the guy that'll be running BBCS. A couple of questions. What controllers/pads/arcade sticks do you use to play? I'll be providing a PS1/2 >360 converter and PS controllers so there shouldn't be a problem for any PS3 pad players. However, if there's something that you guys use and can't bring over, please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare it. I have 360 sticks ready to go if need be. How many of you main DLC/Mu? Do you guys need a place to stay? I'll have to clear it with roommates but roommates are chill and the house can definitely accommodate a couple people. Anything else you guys need in order to play properly? We might even be able to swing a PS3 and BBCS for it but it's a bit of a stretch. Can you bring over a plate of 3 amigos with a side of meat sauce from La Banquise and an entire roast from Schwartz? Anything else, reply back. I'll be checking it in the morning before work. I'd like to keep BB discussion here though. Essentially use this thread for strats, match-ups, criticisms, thoughts about the game, etc. Essentially use it to keep track of our progress. The SRK Ottawa thread is great but it isn't a great place to habour a discussion about BB.

Haha, I helped start the Ottawa scene. Came to T11 as an Ottawa player. But then I had to move back to Toronto.

So, Toronto. I barely knew ye but today was my last day at Lovegety. Heading back to Ottawa for employment. I just wish I could have made it out to Lovegety more consistently throughout the summer, instead of just the last couple of weeks. Had fun today, watching and eventually getting wrecked by that red Hakumen.
