Quick note on the Miquelet Change—Non-CH you can follow up midscreen vs Tager with 5A. IIRC the combos goes something like 41236C, 5A, 5B, jB, jC, jD. Might be worth testing on Rachel since her hurtbox is pretty big too.
-
One more change: CH Miquelet Capture allows for combos midscreen. Made a clip as an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUehLdysaTY
-
Miquelet Capture apparently doesn't launch as far or as high anymore which would explain why you see players go for 5A, 6B when landing Miquelet in the corner.

Here's a combo vid for CP2 that has CH Shear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZmV1bX9Y00&list=LL4Kbghh6RFzQGZm4ODhn4xQ#t=53
-
CH Cutting Shear causes a juggle state you can combo off of without needing to RC or do the follow up. Follow up to Cutting Shear does a real wallbounce now. Did Bullet have 2B, 6B gatling in CP? If not then that was added as well.
-
She does bounce at 3:15. The animation is really short, but it's there.

I've been doing 632149 and it's working out great. What are y'all's thoughts on ending combos in j2C? It lets you stay close where 236A or other enders would put opponents at a distance.
-
Useful note vs Gordeau--If he whiffs his C you can tag him with 236A on reaction.
-
I haven't toyed around with this but it does bring up an interesting possibility of clashing and then canceling into another move. I do a similar trick by using 3C to KO George XIII and then cancel into Flint Shooter or what have you. Very likely this would allow the same kind of cancel. I'll def sit down with this and see what's possible.

I'm the Carson area which isn't too faraway.

Off CH 6B you can land Crush Trigger. Near corner I do CH 6B, CT, 6A, 236[A] into whatever for pretty decent damage. With the added wallbounce to her CT in 1.1 it may open up more options. -
New wallbounce on CT is gonna ruin one of my favorite corner combos CH 6B, CT, 6A, 236[A], 6C... I really like how that looks.

[CP] Bullet Video Thread -Updated 10/21/2013-

I'm not familiar with Sakagami, but I can tell you MC is good Bullet to watch. Here's that same match up with MC at the wheel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPsrwF0shEA -
I'd love to have the option to stay in dangerous character mode while still doing decent damage with H1 combos. Wasn't Order Sol limited in a similar fashion in AC with being forced to go all in with his specials once he acquired charge?
-
Check the Bullet self improvement thread for a video of me fighting BRKRDV who plays a really strong Rachel. I have some thoughts and notes on that match up in there as well.
-
I'm not gonna lie to you and say Bullet is gonna be a breeze, but with a little work you can find yourself enjoying the simple pleasures of dunking people into oblivion.
-
Bullet is far from worthless. It's very likely the case that no one has found the time to share their findings in this match up. Unfortunately, I haven't played the match up enough to offer any worthwhile insight. All I know is that you can safejump Litchi's DP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4BKKE3cQgw

http://www.twitch.tv/nerdjosh/b/496112550 My matches vs Brkrdave start at 02:23:30. A really good Rachel is annoying as fuck. Most of the Rachels I fight aren't on Brkr's level and I run them over. For really competent Rachels you have to learn to get in without eating a billions hits from pumpkins, cannons, and other garbage. You'll notice I use 3C to take out George. This is really good to gain ground on Rachel for two reasons: 1) 3C immediately kills George where Flint Shooter will only kill George if youre at H2, otherwise it takes two Flint Shooters to remove George. 2)Hitting George with 3C allows you to cancel into specials as if hit an opponent. Usually you'll hit George and fire off a Flint Shooter to make Rachel deal with your projectile as you get in. Or you can cancel into any other special as the need comes up--Snaphance for AA, Miquelet to catch more projectile spam. Blocking instant overheads ins't the easiest thing in the world, but the longer you block the less wind Rachel will have to combo you. If she gets you early things are going to suck. Good defense is a must have considering Bullet's reversal options are less than stellar. Rachel is susceptible to Bullet's safejump post 5D/jD. Abuse this if you have opponents who always emergency tech. There's a few other notes on the match up which I'll touch on when I have a break from work. Let me know if y'all have any questions. I'll put up videos of me giving folks the wallop soon. -
These changes are really welcome. While it may not seem like the biggest change the ability to do 5B to 5C without the risk of eating a reversal is a good change. Once opponents start getting familiar with Bullet's offense you'll see more and more of them start to IB 5B and mess you up for trying the string. Personally, I would really love it if they made it so you could choose how much Heat is spent when doing Engage follow ups. Not being forced to go from H2 to 0 would be great.
-
Thank you, the video definitely gave me some ideas.
-
You are correct, you only get one jD attempt per aerial movement. Red Lock only takes 5F more in H2 so it's def worth going for in most cases. Outside of H2 it's iffy. What are y'all using to hide/set up your 720s? I've been having tons of success with 2B into 720.

LKG put this up in the video thread: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm22328639 That first combo is pretty boss, IMO.

Thanks for uploading videos! -
Judging by the recent TRB turnouts, Friday seems to be the best course of action. I'm all for whatever day allows us to get more games in without interfering/ being dependent on tourney stations.
