  1. So far I haven't even seen anyone use Tager's OD as more than an attempt at reversal or option select on jump in. Try 3C OD cancel into 4D. I barely see anyone abuse the fact that he gets midscreen bounces off his drive moves. Quick spark bolt is almost also never utilized. I've seen entire OD's go to waste in that regard. Japanese players seem more keen on keeping it as a defensive burst than trying to put tager in one of the only positions he cares to be in. Facing the corner.
  2. It's weird. Cause Tager's winning ranbats and tourneys now but his tools are still lack luster, his neutral is still lackluster, magnetism is still a gimmick, but he's winning more? Fucking I don't know.. Maybe brain dead tager was meant to be all along
  3. Yumura is brain dead. He gave up on tager a while ago. As in, every time I watch him play he doesn't look like he gives 1 fuck. He plays Tager like he's Ragna. Look at every one of his matches with Nu. Quite frankly, I don't blame him. Tager doesn't get rewarded for baiting when every bait option is like 20/80 in the opponents favor. He doesn't have the luxury to go for random resets when he struggles to get in and get a hit. It's cool that we got that wtf gadget oki back but it still costs meter to do, still isn't guarenteed, and the change to atomic collider crippled a good chunk of his midscreen combo game. If Tager had some real magnetism and not this watered down BS that makes Magneto scoff in Mori's general direction then maybe he wouldn't have so many broken matchups and maybe players like Yumura would actually bother playing like losing wouldn't be a surprise. Edit: Yo I mash like hell with Tager so why do I care :V No respect from me.

  8. Apart from damage, it almost looks like tager forgot what proration means. Dem combos just keep going.
  9. Even if he plays on point, it's not as intimidating to go up against Valk as it was in CS. He only goes so far of a random hit on quick reactions + commitment. His dash mixup is only as powerful as you let it be. Respect it and get blown up :V
  10. Yea.. FRKZ makin Bang's bad matchup's no better and good matchups 8-2.
  11. I get the feeling that out of preference, I just won't be using it on Makoto half the time for starters. Options are almost better making her run back up to you.

  13. Hurray for timeout combos \o/ Combo wise I didn't see any revelations from Akira. Interesting variation on the FC.. I sincerely hope the difference in moves hit stuns hasn't made that the best 2C FC option for Tager. Not that it was bad damage, but I'm hoping there is potential for more from it seeing as a fatal from other chars can net them 4-5k with ease.

  15. The more I see that, the more I die inside. He's removing the option to tech on our terms. That aside, I never really saw j.B FC used all that often. Soooo situational to pick it up properly. I generally cheered the carl player on if he actually knocked me into Nirvana with it. "C'mon man, the stars aligned... DO IT DO IT!" When he had Litchi in the corner, I was pretty sure he was gonna gear super to let Nirvana catch a break. Anyone else surprised he just kept at it with 6[D] ?
  16. Not a Rachel main, I didn't find that to be the surprising part. Though watching the damage potential and how she tweaked her combos to ensure red beat was impressive. Also, Ragna j.C counter on Jin last round of Kohatsu, another nice display of finally getting a feel for the new proration and damage potential reaching. Now if they could just figure out how to get that B.E after rapid Hell Fang :c
  17. When that Valk got the clean 2C... *-* Delicious note taking occured. Seems like Tsujikawa isn't the type to have his groove thrown off. Very rarely did I see him burst late game once he started getting bodied.
  18. You mean the 6A connecting, the BGadget connecting, or the awesome hitbox on Hamma? Edit: Yea, thought so. 6A looked like a bare connect, thought the hitbox or hook properties were altered.. BGadget red beat made me lol.. Those bare minimum steps separate the boys from the men who angrilly throw pads and sticks around when they accidentally 2D :V

The moments where it was like "THAT'S RED NOW!? +___________+ Yeeeeeeeeeees". But man am I paranoid about it prorating too hard after atomic collider numbah 2. If you can B sledge gadget finger though, you can 6C MTW :3 Keep in mind, in one of those instances, I think he was only able to non-magnatize 2B 2C even with walk up only cause she was in the corner .. I wanna investigate this already, curse you Arcsys.. PATCH UP ALREADY.
  20. Thinkin 6A is projectile immune only on certain things like Bang's nails but.. It doesn't beat out Tsubame Gaishi or Gold Burst and it doesn't beat out Mu's reversal super.   21. Ground looping.. know when it prorates too hard and get a free buster? I like it. On a side note, more reps in that loop confirms trolling.
  22. It doesn't bounce. Keeps 'em grounded. I'm sure you could just pick up into some other aspect of the 2C fatal. I'm hopeful to see at least 3.5k out of it. Really depends on how close they are to you.
  23. 6B Fatal looked so trollsy. That's good though, it'll be nice to be able to deliciously profit off a baited DP with another new toy. Still wish a clean 6B on a standing opponent would connect with 6C regardless. Like committing to 6C wasn't bad enough ..
