Who is the fastest character in the game besides Taokaka?
-
I got a HRAP 3SA. Do I set the nub to D, or L?
-
I think he is upset because you clearly know jack shit about the game. Look at Tager's spot on the tier list, look at high level matches, read Tager's matchup threads. All the signs point to one truth: Tager sucks balls! Even worse, you admit it is your third day. You constantly argue back like you know more about the game than the veterans on this site. You came off as ignorant and arrogant. That is why people are getting mad at you.

Not sure if this belongs in here or the newbie thread, but whatever. I just unlocked Mu and was doing the challenge mode when I got stuck at 6A, 2C, sj, JB, J2C. The combo shouldn't be hard at all, but for some reason I can't get the superjump cancel to come out. Are any of Mu's more practical combos reliant on this superjump cancel?

Bang's Nox apparently can sever ties with the Boundary. Does this mean that he can cure Litchi and Arakune? It seems to me that this is going to be the case in the final game.
-
Wait don't you main Carl... or is that a different Z0ng_one?
-
Ctrl-f: Florida No results (Technically 2 mentions of it, just not having to do with cabinet locations)

So ugh... what's the deal with Lambda vs Bang? What exactly makes the matchup such an uphill battle for Lambda?

I currently use Hakumen because of his generally easymode combos, and pretty big damage. For CS I am considering Hazama, Tsubaki, or Carl. Carl is my favorite character storywise. He has a really interesting gameplay gimmicky, and I enjoy watching good Carls on youtube. However, he is difficult to use. I'll have a stick by the time CS comes out so I'll see if I can pick him up. Hazama has a really interesting playstyle. I have to try it out. I really only want to try Tsubaki because of her Astral Heat. It is so easy to combo in to it.

*points to post above* Ok we already covered all the characters. If you are going to post about a character than make sure that what you posted wasn't already posted before, otherwise you are just wasting space. And if you are going to make new points then make sure the majority of those points are serious.

If you like - High mobility, such as three jumps, or two airdashes - An amazing mixup game - A high risk high reward playstyle - Combos that require very good execution, but pay off really well (taunt combos) - The second longest grab range in the game - Hyper fast cats - If you don't mind few anti-air/reversal options - If you don't mind relatively low damage (although the more difficult combos have good damage) Pick and with that we have all the characters. (I think)

Well my guess is that most of the newbies are playing the console version. So I would stick with CT characters for now.
-
If you - Only like to use 2 buttons - Don't mind being hated - Like being top tier - Want a character with a nice ass - Hate Iron Tager - Have a fetish for swords, spamming, or spamming swords Pick edit.... right right, this needs to be serious. If you want a character with - With a good Drive - Good anti-air options - Amazing zoning capabilities, and the ability to play rushdown - Don't mind low hp - The ability to change the properties of some of your specials (by pressing C after D) - A nice ass - Very good normals Pick

Don't let tiers effect your decision. Also you don't have to settle for one character. Just play whoever you like, like Kaqn does.

So can anyone vouch for the PS3 Hori Real Arcade Pro 3-SA? Is it reliable? Do you need to mod it or is it fine if you leave it as is? Also would you personally buy it if you weren't planning on entering any serious tournaments? The most I would be doing would be the online tournaments hosted on dustloop/other sites. If your answer is "no" then would you go with a cheaper stick, or would you just stick with the PS3 pad? If the former, then what stick would you suggest?
