For anyone wondering about Terumi and Kokonoe, going from the update to the official BB website it looks like they are indeed included as part of the base Extend game, too. The fact they needed to clarify that screenshot of the lobby is from the previous version is a little funny but probably means very little or perhaps nothing at all.

So Amazon.jp is getting an exclusive bonus DLC for BBCPEX. It's a "cardboad box set" of lobby avatar accessories. Also the description says they're adding "more surprising new functions" to network mode. Strangely it doesn't mention ranked match, only lobbies and player matches. It also called them "network lobbies" and not "online lobbies" like in the previous BBCP and in P4U2. No idea what to make of that, though it probably means nothing.

No, the CP Extend. Of course, the screenshot is uncaptioned, so I don't really know. It seems kinda outlandish to assume it's from the previous Extend, though.

BBCPEX gives us something they haven't done since CS: individual character stories. Famitsu introduced us to Bullet's ("The Rat"), Kokonoe's ("Collision") and Kagura's ("Determination"). They all focus on the particular character's past. The story select screen looks interesting because there's a separate tab for the new gag stories from Extend rather than them being alternate routes.

JP version has English voices, just set it in sound and language settings the same way you would set character voices.

AE was not free, it was AE ver 2012 that was free. Though technically you get AE for free if you get Ultra.

CS Extend was also full price in Japan. It didn't even have an LE there.

You mean like how they added Celica and Lambda to this version? Please do remember that BBCPE console is BBCP2.0 arcade just as BBCSE console is BBCS2ver1.10 arcade.

What if they add even more characters as DLC to this version? They didn't do that with the last Extend, but it would be funny.

If they couldn't translate library mode, they're not going to translate that... is what I would say if not for them translating the library mode in Xrd. Not sure how I would feel about a mode that's nothing but a glorified trivia contest though.

Xbox One, lol. Wonder what difference the PS4/Xbone versions will have from the PS3 version. All the article says is that they're adding more story for this new version. Mori claimed that the game would need exclusive new features for a PS4 version when he stated his desire to port the game to PS4, so I'm expecting something.

Technically speaking, Arc are within their rights to be taking down story footage. For one, since the story is mostly kinetic without real player input, it technically does not count as transformative media so fair use doesn't really apply to anything more than a 30 second clip. Secondly, fair use doesn't actually exist in Japan and the game is Japanese so you can't actually use fair use to protect video footage of it.

1-6 and the mirror colour are baseline. 7-12 are DLC, 100 yen for a single character or 1,200 yen for all 17 characters. They are not a limited time deal like 13 and 14, they will be available forever.

I have no idea about colour 13, but according to Yamanaka the Playstation colour (colour 14) is obtained by subscribing to Playstation Plus. Which is required for Netplay if playing on PS4 anyway, so whatever.
