FYI, Chronophantasma is also called "BlazBlue Phase 3". I've seen multiple people on twitter saying that the characters announced are indeed Hibiki and Naoto but there's a lot of "Naoto Kurogane? Who?" as well as people jokingly calling him "Naoto Shirogane" and "Naoto Inti Raymi".

Apparently the new game has been announced (BlazBlue Central Fiction) and both Hibiki Kohaku and Naoto Kurogane are joining the playable cast. ... What kinda name is "Central Fiction"?

I wouldn't say we should expect something; they could easily not announce anything. But given past experiences, something is likely to be announced. I have no idea about the first BlueFes, but... BlueFes Spring Raid: Technically the console version of CS1, but that was already spoiled by magazines released the same week. They did announce the existence of Hekira no Sore e Izanaedo and Pandora Tears there, though. BlueFes Riot Summer Again: Announced BBCP. ArcFes (not technically a BlueFes but whatever): Alter Memory and GGXrd announced.

You select a Blast character from the pool of selectable Support characters; there are three types of Blast character that correspond the different types of Blast. A Power Up Blast character would affect your Power Up Blast, for example.

"Shadow Charlie" is also a thing from the VS series. I think the guy might be confused. Though it's certainly not an impossibility since in SFV Nash does have Moonsault Slash, a move he had in MVC2. It's still incredibly unlikely.

They removed the "First Attack" bonus from the play guide, guess it got removed after the previous loketest. Though an unannounced loketest suddenly showing up out of nowhere... I guess they didn't want it to conflict with the hype of Xrd Revelator. And since it's the final loketest, perhaps the game is releasing some time next month.

Most recent patch? Fixed bugs with Hakumen (meter gain issues fixed, OD versions of supers now correctly activate), Replay Theatre and Network. Also added changes from the previous patch to the Xbone and PSVita versions, though the patch for those versions hasn't been released yet I think. The Hakumen fixes were also applied in a patch to the arcade version, because they existed there as well.

Xseed is owned by Marvelous, it making sense them being the localisers should never be in doubt. What would've been in doubt is this game even coming to the West, but I suppose crazier things have happened.
