It's possible that Terumi is like Mu where you would unlock him by beating story mode or you would buy an unlock code off PSN. Except here they would offering the unlock for free if you preorder. Of course he could just be a full DLC.

I know of the implications. He could be an unlockable character that people who preorder get auto-unlocked or he could be a paid DLC that people who do preorder get for free. Whatever. But a downloadable in-game preorder bonus is still DLC, even if incredibly restricted.

Interestingly, the fake screenshot of the "Relius & Arakune" character in character select is clearly modified from the console version, the button settings and Technical/Stylish toggle buttons are clearly visible. They haven't even properly announced the console version but we've already got a semi-official screenshot of what the character select looks like in it.

I looked around the Unlimited Mars thread on jBBS (not going to bother translating it all since there are much better qualified people than me) Something that caught my eye is that Unlimited Carl has his old Astral as a DD, though it has no countdown anymore and instead of an instant kill in one hit it does 38 hits with around 8k damage. Nice, it's good they found a use for that animation rather than throw it away.
