  1. http://www.famitsu.com/cominy/?m=pc&a=page_fh_diary&target_c_diary_id=42597 - Ragna, Jin and Noel BBCP profiles http://www.famitsu.com/cominy/?m=pc&a=page_fh_diary&target_c_diary_id=43044 - Rachel, Tao and Tager BBCP profiles Nothing new except Tao has a reason for splitting up with Ragna. She's helping him look for Noel. They'll be releasing these profiles daily this week and next (though I'm assuming not during the weekend) and tomorrow's update is Litchi, Arakune and Bang. And there's always a small chance for something new in the profiles.
  2. Too early to know a thing about that since switching announcers is a console version thing, but at least the default announcer for CP appears to be competent.
  3. I don't remember saying the 10 extra are all ones we've seen before. Probably. I think Isuna lost interest in CP due to nerfs to Hakumen.
  4. Went looking for a bit. Apparently it has come to attention in this loketest that in CP each character has only 16 colour palettes and about 10 of them have to be unlocked with Platinum Dollars, so by default characters only have 6 palettes each. Apparently all the Zombie and Guilty Gear palettes are back, but the reference palettes from CS (Like Ragna as Gintoki, Platinum as Nanoha) are not.
  5. According to a few jBBS posts that popped up recently, a new loketest has apparently started today (as in Japan's today, which is the 7th) and will last until the 13th. It's strange because this was unannounced. Here's the post, if anyone is wondering.
  6. It's on the second page of the interview.
  7. He likes conflict and dislikes his previous broken spoon.
  8. Checking over the CSSMC timeline, much of what happened in the Dark War (and before) has been retconned. And I mean quite a bit. They removed the bits about Hakumen confronting the Black Beast by himself and him meeting Jubei before the Beast going silent. The rest of the timeline hasn't changed much, mostly stuff has been added.
  9. Ah, right so it's 6 years prior then. Until proven otherwise.
  10. So Azrael is called "Mad Dog Azrael", huh?
  11. Church incident was 7 years ago in the games timeline. Jin ending the Ikaruga Civil War was 2 years ago for comparison.
  12. No one knows, though we do know for sure that it was after the church incident and before Ibukido was shot by Take-Mikazuchi. So somewhere between 5 and 7 years prior to the games.
  13. The Dark War ended in 2110. I'm fairly certain that was stated in other sources before, but it was stated in the CT Reconstruction in Extend. So about 89 years.
  14. The "backstory" part of her profile says she lives in Ibukido. No, you're right, but Akitsu is listed as where she was originally from (place of birth). Which is not the same as her current home.
  15. Yep, she is.
  16. ASW have been clamping down on story footage getting put up in the last year or so. We can't guarantee any CP arcade mode story footage that gets put up does not get taken down due to ASW flagging for copyright. Something I want to talk about is the setting of CP, Ikaruga. The cities of the Ikaruga Federation (イカルガ連邦) were collectively referred to in Extend as the Allied/United Hierarchical Cities of Ikaruga (連合階層都市イカルガ). Ikaruga is in fact 5 cities (technically 6, but Akitsu is a special case): The 5th Hierarchical City Ibukido The 6th Hierarchical City Yabiko The 7th Hierarchical City Kazamotsu The 8th Hierarchical City Wadatsumi The 9th/10th Hierarchical City Akitsu From loketest videos/photos where stage info has been shown, most stages in CP appear to be in Yabiko, while a few are in Ibukido and Wadatsumi. Kazamotsu and Akitsu are left out, at least for the arcade version. Of note, the Mutsuki family of the Duodecim may be involved in the plot of CP as they were put in charge of overseeing Ibukido after the war and had a falling out with the NOL because of it. They were even mentioned in Makoto's story.
  17. What the fuck does Rachel biting Ragna have to do with CP?
  18. About the Astral conditions, this Famitsu article mentions the conditions for using an Astral Heat as "Match Point Round, Opponent at <35% Health, Heat Gauge at 100%" with no mention of Burst. They may or may not have removed the Burst requirement.
  19. Not sure I understand what you're thinking. NESiCAxLive cabinets are Taito Type X2 cabinets that connect to the internet. Any non-NESiCA version would be for Taito Type X2, since the game is already optimised for that arcade board.
  20. No, but IIRC someone did a weird translation for a Famitsu article that implied Hazama's Orochi Burensou (his new DD) was only available during OD when in fact it actually only stated that OD makes it stronger. This person also called it "Ohebi Burensou". Orochi Burensou does have a restriction on use, but it's not "only during OD". It's a follow up to Jasetsu/Jakatsu.
  21. If you're referring to this, it's not actually Bullet's theme; it's a song by One Ok Rock. The guy who posted the video said it was the style he though would best suit her, but he doesn't properly communicate that it's just his suggestion and not the real theme though. The themes for Bullet and Azrael can be heard in the Bururaji BuruFes 2012 videos. All the other new themes are not going to be heard until the game is released.
  22. "Late November" was the release window reported by Famitsu on the 18th (in the very article they posted the OP movie, even). This was later confirmed by Arc themselves on the 25th on the actual official BlazBlue website. http://blazblue.jp/ Notice how on the front page it now says "Expected Release in Late November 2012". And yes, I know it says "operation", not release. Release is easier to understand than "Begins Operation".
  23. Double post. I decided to try and read that shit at 0:06-0:08 in the opening movie. Here's the best I could read (some words may have been read wrong, asterisks mark words that were illegible to me): Blazblue 3rd Episode The world was under the control of the unit called "Amaterasu" meant the thing that lights the sky. And the world ******* timeline was the vessels of interferences. One possibility. One event causality. And the fate. This is the story of rebel against the chain of destiny fate, whatever you may well be to break that binding existence And to reach beyond the NEMESIS HORIZON The CHRONOPHANTASMA So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. | Genesis 11 8-9 This most likely means nothing, though the quote from the book of Genesis about the tower of Babel probably refers to that huge tower at the centre of Ikaruga, Which, again, probably means nothing. Not going to do the text at 1:19, it's mostly Japanese and apparently a quote from the book of Revelations chapter 3 (not sure what verse) and it's pretty much all illegible. Weird seeing references to Abrahamic religion (specifically the Judeo-Christian side) in BlazBlue. And yes, I know what Sheol is. It's still weird.
  24. http://imgur.com/Kmr1E Higher Resolution of BBCP's main visual. Unfortunately has a huge "sample" watermark in the centre, in addition to the tiny Gamer.ne.jp logo in the bottom right corner. Edit: Replaced with the one from 4Gamer, it's the same but without the logo in the corner. Still has silly "sample" watermark. Better than the one on ASW's official site which is not only tinier but also has sample watermarks covering the entire thing, this copy just has one only in the centre. 4Gamer also has high-res versions of Ragna's, Jin's, Noel's, Amane's and Azrael's official CP art, but they're all jaggy and have dithered shading so I'd rather not post them. Bullet's official art is also there but is low res and also suffers from the jaggy-dithered look.
  25. Oh sorry, I was replying to Zeromus and Starlight.
