BB is spicing things up. Overdrive mode, No primers, and the character changes are ridiculous. This is a new game, no doubt about that, I just find it funny that people are calling Overdrive Mode the X-Factor of BB, though I can see the similarities.

Always glad to see new faces as of late and don't worry about "scrubbing it up", the game just came out in the US. We're all here for the same thing; to share and gain knowledge of the character we play. Look around the threads and see what you could pick up from what we have and the Wiki is being updated as things are being discovered. On another note; I'll own P4U tomorrow. I cannot wait to get down on this game and mess around with it.

Sorry man, I saw your message along with a few others but I had Real Life body me as of recent (Not just the P4U stuff, IRL stuff), so I've been focusing on fixing those issues, unfortunately, it doesn't appear that I will be going to Summer Jam to represent the Midwest as planned because of it A lot of people have been asking me what has been going on with me but I won't go into details until the situation has gotten better or has reached such a low that the worst case scenario happens and have gone to my "Last Line of Defense".

I haven't been in the Jin forums in awhile, I pop in here and there but I've been doing my own thing in the Yu forum; also, you know I kid about the hate thing right? I'm just being salty having the chance to play P4U but being robbed last minute by Shin Factor (- "Negative"). Examples: Told to show up to Casuals on Monday, Persona will be there. Shows up, the guy tells us last minute he won't be showing up because he JUST got the game that morning. I lost 10 bucks because of that Told to show up on Thursday Night for Casuals; 40 minutes away. Got bodied by school, then heard he didn't show up anyway. Told that he was going to be at Saturday Casuals "For Sure" and to show up then; 1 hour away. Had a Flash Flood happen, then a tree fell in the road and caught on fire, and on top of that, the original route I take to get there was blocked off due to road work so I had to detour (Took me almost 2.5 hours to get there). I make it there and hear he isn't coming... Lost a few bucks due to this too, but at least I got to play HeartNana in BlazBlue. FFFFFFFFFFFF- In the end, my luck is just horrible especially since I've been dying to play this game so I can flood the boards with information that's needed.

All of my hate... On another subject, I do think Jin will be all right. It sucks we have to Re-Learn him again for the 5th time but I am liking what I see from Jin in the trailer, but I digress; I can't give solid judgement until I've played the game so until then My view on Jin is not solid.

@ShelledMenace: Hoping to hear some good stuff about Jin; I know it's an Odd numbered game so if things are the way the past has been, Jin is going to be good. Wow, you're in Japan at the RIGHT time if you're interested in trying out BB:CP, LOL! If I were you, if you're close to the area or can get to the area they are holding the LocTests, I'd get over there and mess around for a bit. Just be ready for a wait since Jiyuna said the line for it on day one starts on the third floor and ends on the first.

I'll have to say that I do like some of the changes Jin has, but from the sound of a few things, there's gonna be some salt this time around. In the end, we'll see after the LocTests.

Honestly, from the looks of things, and what I'm hearing, it seems that Jin will have a midscreen game. Granted, I have to see more so I'm not saying this with 100% confidence but it feels that his moveset in this installment will be good midscreen.

Bullet is nothing like Makoto, it is also confirmed that Bullet is a grappler. She has 360's 720's and even a 1080 move Murukumo's are not in the game, due to story. I'm sure they will have them in there for console release or DLC though.

Wow, that sucks. Sorry bro, but you didn't miss much anyway, no P4U. There was Marvel and BB there, and I got to play HeartNana in quite the session. I think I won like 5 times out of 20+ games? Either way, it was bad on my end. GGs to Enigmos, Callisto and HeartNana.

Someone has a JP 360 and a JP copy of the game so they're bringing it down to casuals today (You're in Chicago, come down to Nickel City in Northbrook today so you can play too).

What PoserWolf is asking of those as commentators isn't too hard to deal with but to be fair, the game just came out and most people commentating on it do not have the proper knowledge of the game yet. It won't take that long for commentators for P4U to obtain the proper knowledge of the game and it's mechanics over time, once that's done they should be able to figure out ways to discuss what's going on in the match to those that may not be familiar with the game. Example: R-Action - Could be as Poserwolf stated as an "Uppercut" or for some characters "A Counter Move" or a proper explanation of what a specific character's R-Action is and what it does. The only think you have to watch out for is to make sure you're not "Dumb-ing it Down" too much to where the viewers feel insulted. Treating viewers on stream as if they're idiots will also push them away so explaining the obvious aspects would be unnecessary. Example: Status Effects - These are pretty self-explanatory; poison, paralysis, freeze and charm should be understood across the board no matter what background the viewer comes from. Commentators shouldn't have to get too into detail on explaining what status effects does since their 'effects' are obvious. For the moment, I would give commentators for P4U a break since the game has yet to be released officially in the US, so expect commentary to be less than top notch for some time, unlike the effective commentary of those who commentate on Starcraft 2 which has been out for over 2 years.

I FINALLY get to play this game tomorrow! I've been dying to play P4U forever, and it's finally going to happen.

Life just took a major shit on me in a matter of hours. I will not go into detail of What The Fuck happened but I can say this; I am not able to go to Summer Jam due to the incident. All of my plans to head out there to game out with you all just went from an "I'm in there" to a "Wow, this is not happening" in a matter of hours. I'm sorry guys, I really wanted to go and meet up with you all, I even paid registration because I was that sure I was going but I'm not now. Best of luck to you guys, and hopefully if things work out, I'll make my way out there for NEC.
