WTF am I reading here? A game that has a combo loops makes the game fraudulent? I'd have to say that if you're making this claim, then that is your problem, not the game's. I think you're cool and all but I gotta be real with you; this probably one of the dumbest claims I've heard on this forum about the game, especially Guilty Gear. That's not to say that no one can get away with fraudulent stuff in fighting games but to say a combo mechanic that relies on the player's execution is dumb, is something I wouldn't have expected coming from you. I have to agree with this guy here. If you say you're losing to people who uses only loops and they suck, why aren't you exposing them? if you're that much of a better player, shouldn't you be able to see through the BS and expose them for it? Now, lets have a look at the word "Fraud" here: Fraud Deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage. Fraudulent Given to or using fraud, as a person; cheating; dishonest. Cheating: Last I checked, you couldn't cheat in a fighting game since there are set rules (There is breaking the game but I've only really seen that in Marvel, but that's on a whole other scope of things). Dishonest: There is some dishonest play coming from players in ANY fight game but dishonest play can be exposed since it's fraudulent. Dishonest advantage: It's a game where the conditions are set by the players, if you feel that the other person has a dishonest advantage over you then that is a problem on you as a player. Now let's go under some of the words in the definition of fraud: Deceit: A tactic that is used to "conceal the truth" or "mislead the opponent" but can be exploited if you can read your opponent and take your time. Trickery: Another tactic used to make your opponent think one way but you take advantage when you're misleading them which can also be exploited by patience and reading your opponent. Sharp Practice: A law term used as another way to say ""Cunning" or "Sneaky". In FG's this puts you at an advantage against most players who aren't smart. Even so, the smarter or better player can see through sneaky tactics and expose them for it. Breach of Confidence: Another law term that protects private information that is conveyed in confidence. doesn't fall in the use of FG's The above tactics listed fall under ALL fighting games so, to say that BlazBlue and Guilty Gear are "fraudulent" means you're saying that ALL fighting games are fraudulent because people use some of the tactics labeled here to their advantage against people but do get exposed by the better player in the end. If you say that you're the better or smarter player, why are you getting blown up by fraudulence? Maybe you should check your play before you jump on the bandwagon of using "fraudulence" as an excuse for getting blown up.

Yeah, man. Playing him in person is completely different than playing him online anyway. You should enjoy it. Besides, you'll have Nineball there too, looks like things are working out for him to come out to summer jam too. Ragna Mirrors all day man. TBH, I don't rely on DP's so much, at least against Platinum. I usually do my best to space her out so I'm not in that situation because Jin's Range > Platinum's Range. also, I didn't hear anything about you using your other escape option (Counter Assault), if DP's aren't working, CA is the next best thing right? Just make sure you don't make them obvious or they will get baited.

I'm pretty sure it was a 2 bar because Starlight was hosting. If you or I were hosting, we would probably have a 4 (that's what if felt like to me, anyway). Either way, GG's from earlier, same with Starlight if I didn't say it earlier.

I'm one of those guys he picks Plat. We both hate fighting each other with Jin, hence I use Ragna/Mu against him LOL. Also, we need to play more Moy, on my new net, our connection was pretty damn good! @ Moy: I try to throw out Ragna's 6B as inconspicuously as possible, and during times when it's hard to see it coming (ex. Dead Spike > RC > 6B).

GGs to everyone I played. Room was fun and it's late as hell so I had to stop. I'd have to say that's Moy's defense coming into play. He can block (most of the time, he just can't block Ragna's 6B, LOL) pretty well, so maybe it's the way you're applying pressure, maybe you're being repetitive and he's able to see where you're coming from. Lag will happen when you're in Cali and the other person is in Indiana. Honestly, you shouldn't let anything that happens in netplay get you bummed out, I mean seriously, P4U comes out in 6 days.

I wish I had a stick for my PS3... my PS3 pad makes me burst when I do j.C randomly and my PS2 pad that I use with the converter... it's 1 direction doesn't work...
