Welcome to Dustloop hamm3rh3a, it's always great to see another new face here. Our group has been getting quite a bit of attention and interest here and we all welcome you. As you probably already know, we have casuals at Ignite, Galloping Ghost and Nickel City as hit has already been stated and we're having our first Persona 4 Arena casuals on the 11th of August at Nickel City. We have a little ways to go until then but we're preparing to make it worthwhile. Once again, welcome to the group and hope to see you soon!

I've never played a Persona game and I have no knowledge of the series but this game has me hyped on the level of a 10 rank. BB: Extend had me at a 7 since I was the third iteration of Continuum Shift and it just got boring really fast.

Thanks ShardZ! Since I can't make it to MM due to the scheduling, I'm going to try and come down before I head out to Summer Jam. Hopefully I can get some games in with you guys and learn match ups in P4U before I head up there.

GG's to Team DAI last night! CS1 matches were GDLK! AXIS, how many times are you going to get your name changed? (In reality, I shouldn't talk... so many PSN's...)

I don't want to discourage others to miss out/pass on WCSP so if you can go, please do. I am going on both weekends because I will be able to afford it, but Persona is going to showcase on the 11th. I hope the 11th of August is enough time for people to make arrangements to show up. I know that some of the guys posting here and a few on the MM forums cannot make it out to Nickel City so I am willing to showcase the game @ Ignite if it's necessary but I REALLY want everyone to show up to Nickel City on the 11th if possible.

I see, I was hoping that the event was taking place on 8/11 since P4U is coming out a few days after the original set date of the WCSP event (8/7) but if it's set in stone, then no worries. I'll still show up there on 8/11 to promote Persona 4: Arena and hopefully if my bro decides to come up here early, we'll have another player in our ranks.

@ Moy: Thanks bro. I'll be doing my best in the Yu boards, but as you know I'm still a Jin Player so I'm still in here.

GG's to everyone I played in my CS1 room. Hakumen is GDLK, Ragna is dumb, Rachel is weak, Bang's 5a is gdlk and Litchi... My Tsubaki is better than my Jin in CS1... I am a fraud! This is possible?

I have classes all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays (8AM-9:30PM) so I won't be able to make it to any party you guys are hosting if it's on any of those days. I do have intentions on being @ Nickel City that Saturday and Ignite that Monday with my copy to introduce it to others who might want to play it. I've been talking to a few guys on the MM forums and they seem interested in this so maybe that scheduling might work for you guys too?

Nah, we're still going to run BB, it's just that a lot of people are going to be focused on P4U when that time comes around.

Speaking from my experience, I'm one of those guys that's gotta grind the game to get good. I didn't get recognized as a strong player up until the end of CT. All before that I was mad free, I played a lot of fighters in my day but SFIV (Vanilla) was my first serious fighter and that didn't last long. I moved on to BB and I had to work my ass off to get where I did then. It takes a long time for me to get good at any fighter but I approach every match up as smartly as possible. I learned by watching what other Jin players did to me and improvised from that. I did really well in CS2 to the point I almost made it out if my pool, I was literally 1 match away from being in top 32 winners and I blew it because of my Tournament inexperience (EVO11 was my first tournament) but I learned from it and leveled up. In the end, everyone is different and have different ways of learning, anyone can get to a high level it just depends on the person's drive to get better and how soon they can find their niche.

GG's to everyone at the meet yesterday. I had fun, watching Marvel was hype and I enjoyed myself. Hope you guys did the same. This game looks pretty stiff. I'm not so sure I'll be getting into that game especially with persona coming out around the same tme Honestly, CS1 Arcade had the best intro if you ask me.
