  1. You messed up right there, I live 2 states away from Greats and our connection is bad. I'm sure it was worse for you because you live all the way down in Texas, LOL! I should, I have an account but I rarely post. I lurk that forum more than anything. I guess I can start contributing to the forums and get some games with you too. Hopefully our connection hold up.
  2. Have fun guys, I STILL haven't gotten paid yet and rent was due 2 days ago... (YAY LATE FEES!) One of these days, I'll make it to a Ranbat and attend for the first time ever. Important Note: You do know the next time I come to MI, I want my stick back right? I'm going to focus on playing stick for extend and stick to it.
  3. We were doing a FT10? Either way, GG's. I'm free as hell on stick... EDIT: GG's to Thunderbolt
  4. I hate being at 1/3 of my skills on the XBox. My converter is getting ordered as soon as I get my damn check! EDIT: OMFG Nemesis, stop picking all the gayest songs. I swear if you pick Ioncast, Cactus Carnival or Pandora Tears again, I will kick you...
  5. Sure, it's not my native controller but it does do me well in other games. My native PS2 controller is in Michigan, I'll have that soon enough but this one is broken in pretty well. I thought I was right, it's nice to see someone from there, here lol! BTW my tag there was ShenWooUser then. I should hop on DreamCancel a little more since I can finally play the game comfortably now, LOL!
  6. I'll post up a few of Jin's BnB's Saturday night since Friday is an extremely busy day for me.
  7. Color Edit Glitch? Man, I missed that one... then again, I didn't do much color editing with the game. OFF TOPIC: @MikelAL93: I've seen your name before, were you ever on the Ignition Forums some years back? That's probably where I remember seeing the name.
  8. I honestly don't think larger lobbies are something that can be patched, that's gotta be something in the build of the game that cannot be changed. Either way, I can FINALLY use my converter for my PS2 controller for the game now, thank goodness! I'm not expecting much out of the netcode from this update anyway, I mean, they are using GSS again, the same guys who did the netcode for KOF XII... And remember that update patch? At least the game is thriving offline at least. I'll try out the online when I get back from class but I won't get my hopes up.
  9. He's Midwest so no. It would be nice to see him play in it though. Nineball is already one of the already per-determined players. And if someone would contact him I'm sure he could take care of his issues by release date. Half the time it feels as if he's playing wireless, but as of late or at least the last few times I played him, his connection is on point.
  10. I updated Minoru's status the other day, I would have hoped he would have told me himself but I knew he had it for awhile now too. I could have done it myself but I forgot to, LOL!
  11. He says he reads up on GGJ's posts in the Platinum thread to gain more ground with his Platinum. I used to run well against him, now I have to pray just to get my wins now. Lost has stepped up his game, and if he's taking up from what GGJ's saying in the thread, I would hate to fight GGJ now...
  12. This is true, but you might get a burst as well if you whiff the move, last thing you wanna do is burn one of those by accident. This is me as well. DualShock allows you to use L3 and R3, you can taunt with one of those. I'm a pad warrior myself, but sadly, I am learning stick to be competative on the X-Box. I don't see how you X-Box guys do it on that thing, I played CT on it and though I was winning, that pad has caused me frustrating moment playing BlazBlue. Kudo's to you guys who do it.
  13. Kuro, this is the Critiquing Thread, not the Video Posting thread. Would you please stop posting my matches in the critiquing thread, its giving people the wrong idea when you post videos in here. You've done this before and I let it slide but I'll say something now; please refrain from doing this again if it's not you needing the critiquing. Think about it, if you post a video of somebody you feel needs help and they don't know it's here, how will they gain anything from it not knowing the advice? If you want to showcase your videos or do any promoting, do it in this thread here: Blazblue: Continuum Shift Video Posting Thread
  14. Believe in your Mod, the answer is no. If that's not enough, I'll tell you: "6B has NEVER, and I mean NEVER been an overhead." Guys, please carry over unrelated conversations in the General Thread. As stated before; this thread is for posting CS:EX Combos so let's keep it that way. If you do not have an input on the subject at hand, post in the the General thread. ~Thanks~
  15. Status updated. If anyone needs any updates of any kind, let me know. I'll gladly change the front page so that others are aware of your availability.
  16. I will try to make it to this since I'm in Chicago. I have to get a car first or find some other means of reliable transportation even if it's to Greyhound it up there, lol. I'll probably be the only Illinois Rep for BB if I find a way there.
  17. So I'm guessing AXIS is the Godfather of Skye's child?
  18. Just going by the regional listings on SRK listing those states as I've stated above. If every state along the Atlantic Ocean counts as East Coast on Dustloop, then that's different. Then again, BB's netcode is pretty damn good compared to anything that any game SRK supports so, yeah... Forget what I said.
  19. SRZ is midwest so he's out as well bro's. Also, if its East Coast only, that means Feux is out too since he's Florida, PA, NJ, NY, Mass, CT, DE, VA = EC NC, SC, GA, FL, KY, TN, MS, FL, MO = South / Southeast Just throwing this out there for you guys who are voting. Also, isn't Isuyaru in Georgia? Which is also Southeast?
  20. @Lord Knight: I see your point on the no Mid-West decision, some people might not have a strong enough connections to play with the East Coast guys. Also, the next sentences are just my view points to assist with gaining interest for future tournaments, since it's already set in stone what the rules are, and who's in this time around, you don't have to let my opinion waiver on your decision on the first tournament, but I would like it if you took the time out to consider these options for future tournaments: I understand the want of having The Best of The Best (East Coast) to participate but selecting 7 out of 8 of the competition ahead of time is pretty biased IF you're doing this for all the tournaments in the future, but if your decision is based on getting the ball rolling on this tournament to set up for the next tournament then that's different, I can see why you chose the people you did. Let's not forget that there are players who can't get the game until the week you have set up for the tournament (I may have read that wrong but I see the date as Feb 13th?), so that doesn't gives this person voted in who haven't played the JP import a chance to prepare for your tournament. Another note; Wouldn't the tournament be more worthwhile if people Qualified for their slots a week before instead of being voted in? This way, you have guaranteed high-level player(s) in the tournaments later that deserve to participate, and it adds more interest knowing that there's a chance for others who are deserving to be showcased in your tournament. If you were to apply the qualifier method, the top 4 from the outcome of this tournament should have guaranteed slots for the next Plebian's Playground tournament and the bottom 4 should all be open for qualifiers to gather a possibility of having new faces participate each time around. (Even those who's slots are in jeopardy should participate in the qualifier, they were in the previous tournament for a reason) Now, let's say you were to go with the bottom 4 method; Have 3 slots for qualifiers and the 4th slot via voting to keep those watching (assuming this is streamed) interest peaked. Now, if you didn't want to eliminate half of the previous competition, you could go with the bottom two method; Have people qualify for the last 2 slots (voting shouldn't be a deciding factor if there are only going to be 2 Try-Out slots for future tournaments). Host a pre-tournament a week prior, and have the top 4 (or 2) from that tournament participate in the "Plebian's Playground" tournament the following week, but those trying out MUST be available the day and time the tournament starts. These are a few good ideas I thought you could use for the future "Plebian's Playground" tournaments to garner the interest you would want from the viewers you intend to reach out to, doing it this way would give the tournament much more meaning behind it; Showcasing the best that the US has to offer via an online setting.
  21. Both of these players cannot participate because they're midwest, and Leonil doesn't have a PS3. Unless Midwest Players can participate in the tournament, Lucien is out sadly. This guy refuses to play on PS3. EDIT: Feux does live in Florida. Also if Midwest can participate in the tournament, then it would be nice to know, I'd like to nominate players once everything has been cleared up.
  22. She's not into guys... Trust me I tried.
  23. Saya's cool. She's the Ragna player that committed this crime: Met up with her in the Anime Club at school and found out she lives 1 floor above me in the same dorm I'm in. @ Toasty: Goddamnit Toasty...
  24. But that's all Orton has in that era, everything else was something gay coming out of his mouth... Cena was not that entertaining to me. He was unique but he did not amuse me. I'll admit, Cena has mic skills but he's still a bland cookie-cutter wrestler, even back then.
