I plan to bring both consoles (this might change depending on packing) and set things up in one of my hotel rooms. If i can't bring a 360, I'll let you know by Wednesday. Since I have 2 rooms and out of 8 people total that WERE going to show, there will only be 3 of us, so if anybody is down with chilling out Friday night to play, I wouldn't mind hosting in one of my rooms inside the Rio once I can get the room numbers.

I can bring a PS3 and CS2 but I don't have a monitor... but if you guys have enough let me know if my set up isn't needed.

Can you be severely punished if the Noel player IB's 2C and leave you open for a Fatal Counter? I don't think ANYBODY wants to eat a FC combo from Noel... I might be wrong but isn't the recovery time from 2C pretty bad? And if so, can you cancel it with another move? If you can cancel 2C maybe it would be a safe option.

Well, I struggle from this match up as well but as far as I can tell you from my experience: -Playing footsies/using projectiles would be a pretty good start, but you have to be wary that her range is longer than yours -Jumping in is not a good option, she will 2C the life out of you and if you're attacking you just gave her the combo of a lifetime. You really want to try and play neutral in this fight as much of an uphill battle that is. -Watch her pressure strings, most Mu's i've played will try to hit you with lol 6.c or SOD at the end of her strings. If she doen't have enough heat to RC SOD, punish it by IB'ing then attacking with 66, 5c or (dare I say it?) drive car. -Things get easier when Jin is on the inside of this match up; he can apply pressure on Mu forcing her to block allowing you to go for mixups, resets ect. if your inside, use every freaking tool you've got to pressure her into making mistakes and capitalize. Watch out for her DP, it will set you back to square 1 if you get hit by it but if you can block it, you can punish her with even more damaging combos. The way I see it, it's all about watching the Mu player and see how they react to certain situations, then counter attack when she messes up. I'm just telling you what works for me, not necessarily the answer but I hope it helps you out. If anybody else got any tips, I would love to hear them too.

If Three isn't enough I'll be the fourth to nomintate Urichinan for a BB award. Everyone I've been involved with has spoken of him in high regard about his involvement in the community and he deserves this. He has been doing a LOT for the community since the announcement of Platinum and the release of BB:CSII. His involvement in the Platinum Threads is just outstanding and the information he posts in the combo threads speaks for themselves.

It would make sense; in the scheme of things, both sides use the same character. *waves hand* I'll play you bro, though I felt that we've had this conversation before... My appointment got canceled so im available all day.

Not gonna lie, as soon as I saw those videos, I went straight to practice mode for hours grinding on bumper combos.

It's a little late, but I do have the PSP version of the game and if necessary, I can test run combos or there are any theory's needed to be tested with Mu I can do that. I'll also be messing around with the game myself a little bit and If I find anything advanced but not in the "insane" area, I'll post it.

Looks like me leaving has been postponed until the weekend before June 1st. Looks like I'll be sticking around for a bit longer guys.

I'm officially registered for the event and I'm thinking of bringing a small set up (A 19" HD, PS2, PS3, Games and such), and I want to re-learn GG. I'm sure this will be an awesome chance to get back into GG and learn some things. See You guys there!

Dang, I missed out on all the fun this weekend. Well, there's always next time if things happen before I leave VA. Either way I got most of my stuff back, those guys were arrested, and the only thing I'm missing is my laptop and my internet card. Well, better to have most of my stuff back than none.

LOL bro, it happend in the afternoon, broad daylight! I just got off work and got snuck from behind. I still have my games since they were on the ship with my PS2, luckily that was the case otherwise, I'd be completely raging ATM.

I lost a lot bro, Everything but my 40 in HD and my X-Box 360 (PS2 was on the ship so I didn't have to worry about that). Everything else is gone... I filed a police report and I am kinda bruised up since they jumped me from behind as i was entering my apartment. Hopefully they will find these guys and give them what they deserve and give me my stuff back in one piece.

Do it bro! Im starting from scratch, the last GG I played before AC+ was XX... The game is hells fun IMO. Btw, I just got robbed today but I still have my PS2, X Box and a few games, GG included. Im ok, just a few bruises and a messed up house but i'll make it through.

Last night over Drem's was cool, I had fun, got bodied in GG and BB but I'm learning so everything's good. I figure I should play GG a little more since everyone else seems to be a bit more interested in it than anything else we played last night (on the exception of MK), so I'll be able to give you guys a good match in it. Basic's of fighting games are only gonna get me so far in GG, LOL! GG's to everybody last night and hopefully we all can do it again sometime soon. L8R!

I can't do this Friday, Saturday and Sunday are good. Next weekend I can't host at all since ill be working that entire weekend but drem is hosting for you guys this weekend so it all worked out.

Yes, last night was fun bro. I did enjoy the GG matches, even with me getting blown up, I enjoyed myself. Component Cables are GDLK, invest in some bro, they make a difference as you can tell. And I know a litte Bang stuff but I play him differently than most others, I'd gladly share my mix-ups and gameplan with him, that way you can add it to your arsenal. EDIT: Why didn't we play HnK last night? I thought that was the plan. But we played GG so It's all good.

I'm in the area where Little Creek and Military Highway meet up. And yeah, weather is crappy. Either way, I'm just chilling playing Melty Blood with my new HD component cables, it looks great on the exception of the character sprites, lol. but Yeah, I'll pm you my exact address DBC.

Got my BB:CSII in (FINALLY!!!!!) and I've been keeping my eye on Platinum for some time. I'll admit that after playing her, I'll probably be switching characters. She's fun to play, it's easy to pick up on things with her (IMO), and she has a LOT of tools. I completed her Challenges not too long ago and the combos aren't that hard. I'll probably have to look up more damaging combos because I've seen her break pass 5k in the corner. (If anybody knows; are her high damage combos situational or character specific or do they work on most of the cast?)
