Do what I did, buy a SFIV SE stick and mod it, those things are about $40-$60 now and it's incredibly easy to change the shitty stock buttons, the joystick, and the art.

Well the D-Pad killed my thumb while I was playing Dragon Quest IX, I doubt it will go well with a fighting games

I know when I wanted to learn how to use Bang and Ragna, since I got tired of using Lambda all day, I learned all of their normals and watched people like Dora and Kaqn. It's simple to learn combos once you know a character's normal hits and you watch videos of good people play with the character you're learning and hit up training mode a lot. The hard thing for me was to build a strategy on how to use them in a real fight, that only comes with experience. Example: I can do most of Litchi's combos easily but I can't remember the last time I won a fight with her.

I was fucking pissed I didn't see BB I didn't know if I missed it or if they held the tournament at all, MvC3 was cool but I wanted that BB.

The good old days...I miss them sometimes. Now I have to learn how to block.

I have given this game three days, some people say that's not enough I say fuck that, I just cannot get into this game I try but it just ain't workin. I basically play for achievements now.

Been playing the game since midnight release and i already hate the MvC3 people in ranked nothing but jump back projectile with Deadpool and Ryu hopefully people will get better with the game cause i hate chasing people around the screen and i can't even run. the game isn't bad it's just most of the people i come across playing, they play it using noob SFIV tactics. Found a good team though in Chun-Li/Viper/Sentinel

I don't think there is a big difference in sticks besides the weight, but some do already have Sanwa Buttons in them such as Madcatz TE edition stick. Most people I know just complain about the weight because the Madcatz SE stick is extremely light compared to the TE stick, it can slide across your lap sometimes if your really aggressive with it. If you don't care too much about that it's a lot easier and cheaper to just mod your smaller stick with the parts you want if your just worried about the buttons. Also I really don't think there is a certain thing called a "pro" stick it's all personal preference.

I now have a reason to do a solo rode trip all the way to Cali from MS since I'm the only person in MS who plays BB.

I think if you are good with Litchi you got my respek cause I have tried many times to play with her and I can't do it. She can do a lot of damage but her combos aren't super easy like Hazama, Bang, Ragna, or Lambda. You need timing spacing and execution to play her so I don't hate her as much as other people do. If you can seriously kick ass with her doing those beautiful wall combos I respek dat shit.

It took me one month to get really good with Nu but I still suck with Lambda.

That is all I wanted, it was stupid to make Calamity Sword a FC but you couldn't combo without RC. Now only if they would give me my 4DD and 5DD JC back then I would be happy

Nu and her sexy air combos with them swords and I got really tired of Street Fighter.

The only time i have 4B > 6A is a CH 4B, and the 6A is after CH 4B is similar to the grab but i didn't really have to dash, because when they're in the air they sorta float back to you and sometimes over you it depends on if your close up or max range for the CH 4B

I just picked up a fight stick last week and i haven't played a game on a fight stick since Tekken 3 in the arcades. It took some time in training mode but now that I'm used to it I can do combos easier and with the buttons being big I won't accidentally hit another button like what happened with my controller. So far I love my stick over the controller now the only thing I have to worry about is what kind of art I will put on it maybe Hell Girl or Mio.

Does anybody know if Lambda can combo after Calamity Sword cause it sucks that it's a FC but you have to RC to combo after it or did they not even show Calamity Sword in the loketest

so if CH Gravity Seed causes a longer hit stun then CH Gravity Seed > 236C should work hopefully

by jump cancel do you mean 5D and 4D will be jump cancel able again if so i think i might have a heart attack, cause that is my main problem with lambda give me my jump cancels back and im good

I watched all of those vids and it does look like you main Ragna cause for the most part of all the fights you tried to fight Noel and Tsubaki close up. You also missed a few BnB's especially when you hit Tsubaki in the air while she was charging. You also looked a little slow you should use Lambda's mobility, swords, and melee attacks to somehow trick your opponent cause she doesn't have that many mixups that aren't easy to block. And like kenja said use those IADs with j.2DD they help a lot. I don't air grab a lot but if it works keep doing it. You could also try some sword pressure that helps also when you mix up 5DD and delay 4DD. If you want to gravity seed into5CxN>236C that really is only guaranteed against Tager and I think i did it against Haku-men one time it all depends on your position when you hit with the gravity seed. Learn those BnB's and try zoning and moving around more you should get better
