Ayane, in the *Original Chie Video the mixup comes from whether he does an air forward dash or an air backdash. The air back dash lands faster than the forward dash -- making Air BDash Low == Air FDash High. I think jump forward is a better option since Tomoe obscures your character a bit more that way, but neither mixup is super reactable. Edited for clarity.

Delay your 5b a bit after the wall bounce. You have a lot of time to do this so you should be fine.

I never said "this is a free win spam it lol" But you said it yourself, it can set up free mixups when used properly and intelligently. Assuming you don't waste meter giving up oki for marginal damage, you'll get two sets of meteors during which you'll build meter for a god's fist ender. That's 2-4 free mixups, which is more than enough to win off of.

How has there been no mention of meteors, the most broken neutral move in the game? And Chie's counter is nice for forcing an early awakening. And yes Chie has better frame data on her 5a and scores more damage on air to air counterhits. She can also use her C/D series to alter her fall timing/trajectory. An incredibly undervalued application.

I'll come back with some more tips for you but I have 2 things just from glancing over it here. 1.) j.C doesn't hit high 2.) Midscreen do AoA -> fatal launch -> j.D land dash5b5cAB -- you can stick a jb out while falling to avoid airdashing.

Ok, I have an update for everyone... good news and bad news. Bad news: Long story short the venue didn't work out. I had a couple other places in mind and it's a lot harder to sell a tournament like this than I thought. Lesson learned. I'll start hunting for the next venue right after this tournament... Good news: I'm still going to make this happen. I will be hosting it out of my house. There will be no venue fee and there's still plenty of space here to host it. Unfortunately I don't have a Guilty Gear setup at all so if no one brings one it will be cancelled. The main post is being updated with information right now.

Evenin' folks. Some of you already know me (I'm Jeffrey Powell) but I was just lookin around Dustloop for some stuff. I've actually been practicing bbcsex2 recently and it's a pretty fun game. So if anyone around Marietta ever wants to play I'm down. Beyond that I'm running a Melty Blood tournament this Saturday and I plan on running more in the future. The card shop near my house (Marietta/Roswellish area) has TONS of space so I thought I would talk to them about hosting my tournaments there in the future. If there's interest and people ant to come it'd be no problem to run Blazblue as well. Also I want to learn Guilty Gear super bad. Yep.
