  1. We have no reason to believe otherwise so far. Her connection with Bang is possible, though she is already set for a dramatic reveal with Tager, so I'm not sure we need another one.
  2. It sure makes for an entertaining boss fight, though. Unlims should be less "Well, you're screwed if they land a hit on you" and more "You're gonna figure out how to beat them in a way you never did".
  3. I don't get some of those changes. Bravo's sausages are already done with 214P, and he has no 41236P move to change its input. Does the arcade version differ from the console one in any way?
  4. Imo, playing 999 is worth it just because it makes VLR much, much better, so I'd still consider giving it a try.
  5. Does CT work the same way for the rest of the chars? That's cool.
  6. Hey, me too. Though I like Clover's old design more (I blame Alice's influence), and Luna is superior, anyways.
  7. At the very least, Bullet got a new DD and a normal / follow-up.

  9. It's Famitsu o'clock in the JoJo land again, which means more translations! As usual, the move names require some work, especially ACDC's: I couldn't even translate his supers. http://www.famitsu.com/news/201303/28030868.html ACDC (Battle style: Mode) Featured in part 2. One of the “Pillar Men” who has awakened along with Wham and Cars. He gained the name of “Blazing King” for his ability to heat his blood up to 500 Celsius and hurl it out. By protruding long, needle-like blood vessels, he can pierce the enemy and pour boiling blood inside of them. Although he has a calm personality, he tends to go into crying fits to cool his head off. - Special move: Stream of the Blazing King By activating his blood manipulation mode and gradually spending his Heart Heat Gauge, ACDC gains a boost to all his abilities. He can even damage the opponent by simply approaching them with the mode activated. - Taunt Sticking his finger out, ACDC puts on a fearless look. - Counterattack: NOT FAAAIR!~ After getting hit by the opponent, ACDC boosts his Heart Heat Gauge while decreasing that of the enemy’s. - Special move: I’ll slowly make a stew of your face! The enemy is pumped full of hot blood from the blood vessels! - Special move: I already put your pitiful plan in check! An attack with the blood vessels extending from toe nails. - Special move: Lava Blood Bullets Shoots blood bullets that are boiling hot like lava. - Special move: Blazing King’s Giant Wheel - Special move: Eat this and die! - Command move: Move aside! - Throw: Heere! - Heart Heat Attack ACDC instantly approaches the enemy with a kick! After that, he hurls out some blood to deal additional damage! - Great Heat Attack ACDC pierces the opponent with many blood vessels, wrapping them in flames. Caesar Antonio Zeppeli (Battle style: Ripple) The grandson of Will Antonio Zeppeli, who sacrificed himself to save Jonathan in part 1. He is a Ripple user who makes powerful attacks with soap bubbles. Because of his womanizing personality, he and Joseph initially didn’t like each other, but later became good friends after training and fighting Pillar Men together. He respects the noble spirit of his grandfather, as well as of his father, who sacrificed himself to save Caesar, forever proud of his lineage. - Taunt Caesar strikes a stylish pose. - Counterattack: The Cat Stance A parry attack. Caesar kicks the enemy with the Ripple if he is hit in this stance. - Special move: Bubble Cutter Caesar sends forward several disc-shaped soap bubbles. - Special move: Bubble Lens By using Bubble Cutter as lens, Caesar focuses light on the enemy. - Throw: Ripple Spark After placing his palm on the opponent’s chest, Caesar blows them away with a spark! - Special move: Ripple Kicks Caesar jumps forward, making several Ripple-powered kicks. - Special move: Bubble Cutter Gliding - Special move: Bubble Launcher - Command move: Jump from the Sitting Position - Special move: A single uppercut! - Heart Heat Attack: Bubble Barrier Caesar wraps the opponent in Ripple-infused bubbles, which finally burst for additional damage. - Great Heat Attack: Let the light expose and burn you! After surrounding the enemy with Bubble Lens, Caesar focuses many rays of light on the enemy!

  11. It's about a month old, go figure. Yeah, it is possible to do something like that, since you can't recover after a Snaphance wall splat. Not sure if you can do any additional attacks after Afterburner, though. You can also do something as simply as 5D RC 5D, though I'm not sure that counts as proper oki. As for the heat management, keep in mind that you're guaranteed to regain at least one level of heat with both H1 and H2 combos (unless you end it with Rage Aggressor or something). Whether you should be going for H2 combos or not depends on how well you get heat outside of combos with naked Drives or Afterburners. If you do, sure, there's no harm in landing an H2 combo or two, but if you don't, you better not hold back and do as much damage as you can. When life gives you lemons...
  12. I keep saying that Bullet is deeper than people might think, all because of her resource management mechanic. Do you go for the additional Heat-Up, hoping to get more damage on the next combo, or do you spend it right now to keep your damage output more constant? It's not the most obvious thing when you're watching the replays, but it does matter. I don't communicate on my PS3 that often, but sure, go ahead. Just keep in mind that I'm easier to reach here.
  13. It's just that we don't have the game on us, while the Japanese players are out of new tricks to show. We're doing what we can to keep the subforum alive (even with Prototype going AWOL again), but there's not much we can do.

  15. Funny how the most boring man in the world is more cool than all the buffed men, schoolkids and women in the game.

  18. Excuse me?
  19. I'm the last person to dislike Bullet's design, but I concur, those initial designs look even better.
  20. Huh, so it really is a PC version, sold on DVD and stuff. Well that's just great.
  21. Yeah, her playstyle is one of the most common in the game, with Ragna, Makoto, and many others having many similar tools. Why would anyone learn a whole new character when they can just pick up good old Rags and do the same thing, except with ID? I suppose that 6D and 2D become more safe, too, simply because you do need something in return for the Heat-Up loss. Anyways, the framedata should be out soon, so we'll know it for sure then.
