what other moves will reliably stop lanto? 5a does the trick but l get countered all too often (l usually lose at this point, hes in and l refuse to block his shit. 2c ftw!). i'm thinking 6b but it would have to be just right. 6c might work and on success you can summon, but the hurtbox extends just outside the hitbox. this is one of those matches where l wish 5b kept its physical property lol also, like carl, you want to 3c for oki w/ a summon. but, instead of 3c, do 3[c] to stop led ley and get a big combo anywhere. it also has the liberty of stuffing backdash, jump, and forward roll. once you have his respect, go nuts. if he has 50 heat, choose between baiting/punishing gear super.

if it came with a muffin, it was definitely worth the 10 dollars.

so uh... what does relius have for oki i've been using val tus on wakeup for months, and only until a few minutes ago did someone have the gall to actually forward roll out of the corner before the first hit. l was so mindfucked (l was under the guise that tus beat forward rolls) that l went to training mode to test myself. lo and behold, the shit dosent work. lgnis deserves a smack for her incompetence. lf l were relius right now... ...but l remember seeing it beat forward rolls before! maybe it's char specific? but anyway, any oki setups midscreen/corner will do, maybe a crossup setup or two. i'm about to pull an all-nighter watching relius players till l get something

earlier today l tried to gold burst a gold burst (rather l planned to gold burst at the same time but did it later) and got beat out during startup... l wonder why, it was pretty interesting how/that it happened

there was not a single gold burst in the room. well actually l do remember doing one, but it was blocked. (that was like 10 games in too :v) everyone in the room pretty much bursted as soon as they got hit in the beginning. it was pretty funny. then everyone started playing a little more conservative

yes exactly. just for reference: 1= down-back 2=down 3=down-forward 4=back 5=neutral 6=forward 7=up-back 8=up 9=up-forward the notations are related to your character, so regardless of the player side you're on, 1 will always be down-back and so on.
