lv2 j.2c frog bit ended up being much, much easier thaan l thought. l can do it about 95% of the time in real matches. what l do is, after lv2 j.2c bit, l buffer in the frog input and slightly delay the 1d so that the foe is winded down as they are coming down. then, l slightly delay the 5cc (unless they were really close to the ground after j.2c lv2 in which case, no delay). this in turn makes the foe lower and hit the ground faster, triggering george. so- 6a 5b sjc 2d dj2c(lv2) j214a 1d(slight delay) land 5cc(slight delay) 236c (frog hits)... throw 7d dash 5b jc 2d dj2c (lv2) j214a 1d(slight delay) land 5cc 236c (frog hits)... now im working on variations.

so this is what l came up with in training mode, just having fun. its not the most optimal combo but its stylish (and thats what really matters... :3 ) so without further adieu 6d loop! (corner) throw 6d[m] d(slight delay) 6a 6b(hold) staff2 dash 6d[m] d (slight delay) chun staff2 dash 6d[m] 3c 2d 6c(2) staff2 6d[m] 3c- does around 2700, 40 something heat gain. fun as hell to do. its suboptimal but its going to be my new throw bnb

@kurushii actually for the litchi bit l was just theorying based on the stuff l practice in training mode. l subbed litchi for a very long time previously so im very familiar with her playstyles. l was just a little confused as to why that would be so bad, thats all. for lambda its pretty much the same thing, right now im finding out what l can beat consistently in training mode. im not experienced enough to give detailed answers to each character just yet, its just based on observations, what each char can/cant do etc... inv me to the stream tonight plz :>

litchi as 70-30? :o whoa that cant be right? its much easier to punish litchi fo trying to use the staff to zone now. plus with ignis out you can counter her long range normals with 236a 2d/6d. same for lambda, l just feel that you need to be -very- patient with her. 214a is a great approach in this match because of its speed and projectile invul (countering her 214d on reaction). once you get her pinned anywhere its very difficult for her to escape. l just gave small bits due to limited typing from my ps3 - imo l think these matches are close to even. just a little thought to consider.

litchi feels so weird now fast in the wrong places, slow in the wrong places, lol. shell definitely take some getting used to. star just have a little more confidence in your abilities and dont give up. its not about who's been playing the longest, its about who's the most serious about learning their character(s) and what they are willing to do to get better. sometimes it takes hours of frustration but everyone who wants to be good -must- go through it also, not just you. the key phrase here is dont give up.

ooh nice, thank you. that got me wondering about duo bios. if you grab a foe in the middle of the dd and they tech, will the next hit break a primer even if the foe blocked the first hit (and lost a primer)? time to hit the lab later...

what are some unblockables in general. like what kind of tricks does he have. im so used to rach and her high/low shenanigans. l only do 6a and 2b with him

l want to try to get the game today (along with a new ps3). cant wait to play this guy. so can he actually zone well? it looks rather difficult to move ignis to where you want her. looks like 214a is the best way but that takes quite a chunk of meter.
