oh wow. l missed this. in the second pic makoto is getting ch'd. l guess since she wasnt as glaring red as in the first pic my brain skipped that piece. now l kinda feel silly. so im going to delete my earlier post then. and probably just not say anything else u.u my bad guys.

continued... all in all lobelias can be good especially on people who need time to set up stuff (mu especially is vulnerable), overly turtling players (me  ), and characters who can fly everywhere (I may be wrong about the last one. l know valk and tao have some trouble). l 3) they know the counter to your counter. other than being really annoying, l dont think they'll be of much use if youre already good. they block worse than americans. but anyway, yea, feel free to correct me on anything.

my thoughts. 1) 5b is great... on paper. you look at it and think 'wow why isnt this move used' well... despite all its good points, the big problem is the range, and using wind to improve the range can be detrimental to hitconfirming depending on the matchup. this, l feel, is the reason 5b is not her go-to poke in neutral. that and the recovery. 2) this is matchup specific and lobelias can be really good at harassment when you have wind. litchi for example is a char i'd use wind lobelias on fullscreen for two reasons: fullscreen staff litch can either run to midrange with staff, turtle or set staff. the latter two allows for a quick winded (delay wind works wonders) lobelia to her face. oh hit or block you can 'ride' the wind with (IAD) tk iris and be in her face (good w/wind) or summon (ok). 236a in particular stays out a long time, making it hard to punish, even harder with 5d; this move is my go-to for anyone who likes to run/IAD in, but are out of my normals range. also good for whiff punishing.

*shivers* im trying not to be near the thing. it moves alot and really slowly so you see every motion. every time l even look l get really cold and shivery. gonna have to work up some nerve to do it. lf l dont, guess l have a new roomate...

theres a daddy long-legs on the ceiling in my room. wondering if l should kill it (apparently they're good to keep in the house). but this one started a web and its legs are really creepy what do
-
another -_- for added angryness. damn, was really hoping that was a real buff. le sigh. ty
-
-_- sigh, im really no good at speaking. working on that. l do have a question of my own though. has the 'normal hitboxes changed' bit for rachel been confirmed in any way yet, if it's true? something about that sounds eerie, like something really good/bad happened to one or several of her normals. of course something like this would be hard to tell without hitbox data of some sort, but figured i'd ask. l hope its a big buff honestly, maybe a fatter 5b ^_^
-
but l know that, l didnt mention untechable time at all...
-
isnt that almost exactly what l said? l remember saying tager's hitbox is fat and you can therefore do 5c sooner, and you said the same thing, and then l wasnt right *is really confused*
-
hitboxes. tager is fat.you can press 5c earlier for him before you can, say, litchi, in this combo.
-
it could be tager specific.
-
im about to be in the same boat. hiatus from errrrthang. fuck life atm.

l could hardly breathe laughing so hard. and then this. seriously you guys need to do stand-up or something.
-
sigh, they are making td so bad again... l was thinking of getting a name more powerful, fitting. l knew l should have went with bbl first -_- ....... anyway how bad is the untechable time on b/c lobelia? in cs2 c lobelia could hit ch from its peak height and the foe couldn't tech until they hit the ground (thats alot of time). are there any vids yet with b/c lobelia ch? in fact i've seen but one video of new rach... l should probably check 'em out in a few.

mine metagross jellicent (the guy version) dusknoir spiritomb milotic starmie ludicolo drifblim togekiss and the last: gothitelle in that order. l dunno, gothitelle's pre-evos arent really that appealing. something reminiscent of 'jynx/smoochum rejects'
-
drifblim makes top 10 for my favorite pokemon of all time. metagross is first <3 brains, brawn, and even some beauty in there.
-
l actually enjoyed the 20 minutes of rachel sleeping and wants to know where that pic came from :3 good episode, really looking forward to the next one.
-
how do you even play pokemon (l really mean, how do you play it)
-
@dai, happy bday mang oh sine, l didnt realise you were the litchi player on ranked the the other day. :o ggs though.

I think this method will lose to people who dont delay their burst or do it early enough so that 5b will completely whiff them during the burst animation (actually l know this from experience... alot of it -_-). this in turn will ruin the rest of the 'bait' you had. not to mention the delay jump is giving the foe lots of leeway to just jump/backdash/mash moves. jumping and winding yourself down with 3d instead of 2d is much easier to counter also, if you air block a burst from a low height or instant block, l believe your chances of punishing the burst is already high. honestly, i'd rather bait it with 0 wind and proceed to wreck face (or continue pressure), take the burst and set up some zoning or wind myself back in instantly with 5d airdash. this way im not really giving anything up, and im more or less 'reacting' to the burst instead of anticipating it. it is another option that wasn't here before though.

what'd you win?

didnt know you guys felt that way :o now l kinda feel like l was whiny and for no reason. at any rate, thanks again. l probably just need a periodic refresher to keep my game solid and whatnot. i'm going to take you guys' advice as well as look at kro's guide and some matchup threads. something l could have did in the beginning. :> in other news, new 6b ch combo. i'll post it in the combo thread tomorrow. sadly it will not work in cse; but w/e

reactions arent my strong point, lol. l understand what you mean, though. guess l was focusing on the wrong person alright i'll try it out. thanks
