  1. Honestly, if anything, he seems to be flashier than other Hazamas to me. He doesn't seem to have really good a hitconfirm and drops combos more often than the best ones do. That 7k combo is totally ZOMGWTF!! but implying that he's the best is stretching it if you ask me.

Now, can you please fucking stop whining and shit on people? But that would be pretty unreliable against decent opponents. After all, throws are so easily teched on BB. Not to mention that Hazama's grab is pretty short.
  7. Well, I guess that I've offended one here too. I'm an ex Brawl player and just simply added myself to the list of people that realized that competitive Brawl made the game itself very boring, no, extremely boring. But well, in the end, my point is that Alucard should stop complaining so much.
  8. So far, alucard's only post are raging rants. At least, that's what I've been seeing as of late. I barely have any time to play and I really am not complaining at all. You're just giving excuses, go on and play Brawl. Requires 0 technical skills, totally the casual thing. And there I had heard about it being on Dec 8, FML.

  11. Really? I usually meet an awful lot of Noels, Lambdas, Tagers and Ragnas. (Not in order of frequency.)
  12. My trick is to hold 3D instead of 6D, then input 8D at the right moment. I've developped the habit of doing 626 since I couldn't do it normally back in my SF days and I usually do it reliably and on reaction (I'm quick enough). You could start like my friend who was doing 6-236 instead. You usually shouldn't add a DP in your combo if you can't do it reliably by itself (plus it's only corner specific). Start using DP B more for now, even if it's not as rewarding or safe as DP D, you won't get random 2Ds all over the place. But hey, best bet is to work on your execution.
  13. I did see his attempt for the evade trick. But I guess you're right, probably the dash speed that seems horrendously slow. That gave me the impression that she could zone all day and that she was unapproachable. My bad.
  14. Well, he was supposed to be the next CT Jin until people actually got a hand on him and realized that he wasn't 'lulzbluebeat+5Dicecar'. He's not played by a lot I believe. I've got to find that list again, it showed characters usage in order. Ragna, Bang and Jin were up there. It's a shame that they've made up their mind on Hazama already. Because he's clearly going to suck compared to quite a few, which is counter productive for a 'balance patch' if you ask me. You aren't supposed to make your characters suck. It's stupid tricks like 'lol he's going to dominate midscreen' and 'lol he's going to dominate in the corner' that makes such bullshit. Sure, they have to be different, but Ragna's midscreen meterless 3.4k combo VS Jin's midscreen 25% heat 2.8k combo sure did a big difference.
  15. I had forgotten about 3c > ice car C, thanks for reminding me! I'm not sure to understand how useful is it against Haku, since j.2c is a pretty dangerous tool against 2a. Also, is there any videos of 2a AA tutorials or something? I really can't seem to get a FEEL of it, so visuals could help me out. I've been practicing IB lately and it seems to be much easier to punish with Hazama's Jayoku Hotenjin. Which of Jin's attackS is the best to use when IBing on reaction? I've had no time playing lately, so I want to make sure that I work on improving a few things once I get my hands on my dusty stick.
  16. I would like to know, how many of you actually use 2a as an AA? And when is better to use it over 2c? I've seen it being used mostly by Hiroshi and don't remember seeing it often in American videos. How did you guys practice it? And most importantly, what will its optimal combo turn into with 3c being techable?
  17. The woman summoning that huge flying sword seems totally broken. Seeing this, I want ArkSys to make 2D background sceneries for BlazBlue. This games is much more appealing visually, which makes me go .
  18. Hi there people, I would like to know if there is anything other than monthly tournaments for BlazBlue in Montreal? Because I'm still terrible at this game and would like to learn some more before pitching in money aimlessly and get my ass beaten on the first round.

  21. If it wasn't for Moi, I'd be totally lost. Seeing as how you're pressing A B C at the same time, that made me think of an RC.
  22. From what I can see, you're not talking about IB > Punish but more of Counter Assaults. You simply have to block and press Forward A+B, it takes 50% heat. IBing does not take away any heat.
  23. 1. Yes, of course that is bound to happen. But removing loops should still be the goal in the long-run. Or something simpler is to add loops for everyone . 2. I actually don't get stuffed by scrub Noels. But they're already annoying as they are now. And as I've stated, I'd rather have one more solid character with an actual solid pressuring game than a character with almost solely based on gimmicks.
  24. The question is: How long are they? Are they Tao's taunt loop-long or are they Noel's loop-long? I personally thought that Noel's was fine, it couldn't lead to 0-death combo (except the pretty-hard-to-setup-in-the-corner loops) and wasn't game-breaking enough to warrant her top tier. Litchi seems still super solid and now has a devastating loop. Of course I'll want them to remove it, for christ's sake. Okay, I'll reword it. Noel is an easy character at scrub-level because they love drive-spamming with her. I thought that her normals needed a buff, not her drive, with that, she could get an actual solid pressure game and not rely on drive gimmicks to hit the opponent off-guard (and not get outpoked by DPs half the time). And a 4.2k combo off of a low poke midscreen is hell of a lot if you ask me, considering the fact that combo damage drastically went down. And so what if I'm playing Jin? He wasn't changed nearly as much and I believe that they should've taken that direction with the whole cast while trying to actually get a tighter gap between all characters. Not to mention that I don't like the fact that he's a possible top tier.
  25. They better get rid of Litchi's loop. Oh so much, I hate fucking loops and even more when it comes to Litchi. And I'd rather have Noel not being top tier because she's already easy to play as she is. Scrubs will get even more drive-happy, this is making me sick. 4.2k for a low hit is too fucking much considering the toned down damage in general for everybody (which I am against, they should've buffed the low tiers and go on from there, game's rounds can take an eternity). I want a balanced game and it seems that gaps between characters have gotten even wider. Bet they just changed the whole position of the characters in the tier list. I'm not one that should complain since Jin is looking great. But I don't like the fact that everything is pointing me toward something that isn't balanced. I was expecting something better. And to top it off, they're freaking adding last-minute changes to the game's mechanics. Then again, I'm definitely gonna play it, hoping I'll be completely wrong. I love BlazBlue, hope they ain't going to wreck it.
