In case anyone in this discussion hasn't seen the recent news update from shtkn for whatever reason "3.4 to 4.0 We currently run IPS 3.4, and 4.0 has been released. Upgrade Will Be Longer Than Usual This is a major change, so downtime will be much longer than usual, as I want to download a backup of the servers in case things go horribly wrong. There are no good estimates for how long this will take, but I expect at least a few hours (and possibly a whole day) will be needed. I plan on starting this late Saturday night if I'm free by then. If not, then Sunday. Why Upgrade? The key feature that interests us is front page should be more configurable. The forums should also see slight improvements as well. Why Didn't You Upgrade Sooner? This is a major upgrade. Typically this means major parts of the software has been rewritten and as such, certain features may be missing. I was hesitant to upgrade due to this, but seeing as we're trying to make the Front Page actually useful now, and 4.0 promises more options to do so, I've finally decided to bite the bullet. " Hopefully with this we start to see some front page suggestions implemented and possibly revamped, it'll take time but this is definitely a step forward at least !

I made a huge post detailing my opinions and somehow I lost it all so I'll go with a shorter version this time. Everything Yohosie mentioned earlier is pretty much spot on, the front page needs a revamp in general. From what I gathered on page 2 she doesn't mind helping with the web design for that granted the site gets the version upgrade that shtkn is talking about ? Since a hopeful revamp may happen I hope I'll try to point out things currently wrong with whats on the main page to see if we can "fix" or "adjust" it until then. Front Page News Layout Consistency If you look at SRK you see that there is a template to how their articles are laid out which isn't presented here at all. Super large embedded videos and logos, super small preview images embedded on the opposite side, scrolling down is a mess. There needs to be a uniform way of laying this out so that it is easier for the viewer to check it out. Also make it so that the entire body text isn't showing on the front page, peak their interest with a preview of the text and a "read more" link td;lr just look at SRK, we need something like that News Updates I'm happy to see news updates actually happen now but there needs to be some professionalism put into it. Right now it looks like submitted forum posts into a news article. Why is this article supposed to be relevant to me ? Why should I watch this video ? I know its not the posters job to write out a paper about the topic but at least make it presentable. While content in the news topic can indeed be quality make sure the presentation is too as that represents how the site looks. I also noticed that a lot of video news updates are happening (i see two first thing on the front page), if they happen frequently consider them to be in a weekly video news update instead of making them each their own individual post. I think these are the main factors for me right now, the side categories and other topics that come to mind I believe were already posted by another person with the same concern (plus I'm lazy after losing a bigger post). This is all just my opinion, thoughts on the matter and hope it helps.

I'm happy to hear that it's coming in the spring, I hope we don't have to wait TOO long to see it on consoles. I might have my hopes up a bit but I'm hoping for at least a Fall 2015 console release. (In time for CEOtaku or NEC at least)

Welcome to the Dengeki Bunko FIGHTING CLIMAX FT5/FT10 Exhibition Thread. The purpose of this project is to spread the love and fun of DFC through exciting long sets as well as level up the players who are interested in participating. Whether you are a regular player who wants to level up or a casual who wants to break out their rust we would love for you to participate ! (This is a new project and if you have any feedback to make it run better please let me know !) These exhibitions will be biweekly and will be held either on Monday or Wednesday of each week held (depending on the participating players) between 8pm - 11pm EST (the times will be coordinated accordingly to that weeks match ups). Stream: http://twitch.tv/anneifrank Date: Monday or Wednesday Time: 8pm - 11pm EST How the exhibitions will work I will look over the list of players and choose a match for you to play which will be determined by player level from previous games or observation from current play. If you are unknown to me I will test the waters and match you against another unknown player. If a player has participated in a exhibition during the week they will be on a temporary cool down so that other participants can have a chance to take part in an exhibition match as well as being restricted from playing the same person for a month. Each week there will be a maximum of 3 FT5/FT10 matches which 2-3 being the average amount. Everything really depends on whether or not players choose a FT5/10 and how the time constraints look after each match. If 3 matches are listed the last match will not be guaranteed to happen if time does not permit, in which case it will be delayed until next week as the first match (or if the exhibition happens Monday possibly move it to Wednesday, we'll be flexible about it). Q&A: Why are the only dates for these exhibitions Monday and Wednesday night ? I wanted this event to be a consistent weekly, sadly I do not have proper equipment (or connection) to do the stream myself however I am forever thankful to @AnneIFrank who voluntarily offered their services to make a weekly event possible which is why it happens on Monday and Wednesdays. I want to participate but those days are not good for me, is there anything I can do ? While you won't be able to participate in the Mon/Weds exhibition you can still submit your information and I will put you into a separate group. We have @Hakensann who is new to online events however has shown great support primarily to DFC and UNIEL and given his schedule opens up has offered his services to holding FT5/FT10 sessions as well. After each DFC Online Tournament he holds he will be open to FT5/10 sets, please watch the tournament, participate and let him know. These sessions will be somewhat random. Japan always does single elimination brackets best of one match tournaments for every single game (to my knowledge). There aren't any "unlimited" or enhanced versions of characters. The tournament rules are going to be just like any other basic standard rules in the US (Double Elimination Bracket - Best 2/3 Matches - 3/5 Grand Finals (Winners/Losers Finals depending on tournament))

The game has a lot of room for DLC, somehow I can't imagine them ignoring the popularity of SAO2. With more Dengeki Bunko series coming out and them starting to implement Sega guest characters it has a lot room to grow if it wished to.

It sort of like experience, it kind of represents how much you play/win. Think RIP from UNIEL. Benefit ? Probably those icons/plates on the arcade machine for their profile as well as colors. When you download the digital PS3 copy just make sure you play the game on your US account on the same system. You're not limited to playing it on the account you downloaded it nor is ti restricted by region either. Hope that helps !

1. Leisureland generally has the strongest players in FB made games such as UNIEL hence why I mainly only upload their footage 2. I get the matches from nico nico as they are uploaded, how they are captured on arcade machines I believe they have jacks for that a lot of arcades do streams like this 3. Grade is different per character used for that player Thank you, I'm trying my best ! If you have any suggestions/feedback don't hesitate to let me know ~!

Kuroneko is good but there are better assist. The thing about petal oki (and Kouko oki since its close to the same idea) is you can just mash reflect guard to avoid the mixup (at the cost of some meter but meter is so easy to get in this game why not) and in neutral is sort of loses to other assists and most special moves. You can still make it work, you might not find a lot of video for it though.

So how do I use 236C/D (236CD as well) in my play, I haven't really understood it much besides using it to end 5C > 2C strings Also does press 214A ~ A release the present faster ? I'm not home atm to test I just saw it in a notation in the combo thread. Finally how good is 214A ~ D (?) I'm hearing good things about it but haven't gotten a chance to explore myself. Whats everyones neutral gameplay look like so far I feel sort of lost.

Did you ignore criticism ? I wasn't trying to criticize just dropping my input on the topic but yeah NEC is like a major priority if you're an anime player. It may not be solely focused like Apex is for smash but it's where godlike anime TO St1ckbug runs the main tournaments and other godlike TO tigre for most/all side anime tournaments so the combination of the two plus more make it a priority anime event IMO
