What happened to the rest of your thread ? Coding is the devil IntroductionDengeki Bunko Fighting Climax (電撃文庫 FIGHTING CLIMAX) is a 2D arcade fighting game published by Sega which brings together selected characters from light novel series published under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko. The project is a collaboration between Sega and Dengeki Bunko as part of the 20th year anniversary of the light novel imprint. To find out more please visit their website at http://climax.sega.jp/index.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIU4nGdK9SY Arcade Release: March 18, 2014 Console Release: November 13, 2014 (PS3 and PS Vita) Gameplay Primer 1) Life Gauge: Taking hits reduces your life. You lose when it hits 0 2) Support Gauge: When it’s lit up, you can call your assist. When it’s grayed out, you cannot. It will refill with time. 3) Blast Icon: “OK” - Blast is Usable “Charging” or “Wait” - Blast is Unusable. Displays a percentage while charging 4) Trump Card Icon: Start each game with two. Using trump card will consume one icon. After using trump card, the icon will become a meter for a short time. During this time, each character has different enhancements. Losing a round will return one icon. 5) Time Display: Counts down from 99 to 0. At 0, the fighter with the most life will win the round 6) Round Display: In a 2/3 Game, has two icons. A 3/5 game will have 3. Displays a “V” for normal victory or a “T” for time over victory 7) Climax Gauge: Max 5 levels. Builds slowly in neutral even for just walking forward. Used for: Climax Arts Reflection Guard EX Special Moves Support Cancels Combinations: > > etc. Every character can perform chain combinations going from Weak to Strong attacks Quick Combination: > > Like P4A, auto combo that goes from weak attacks into supers Impact Skill: + or + Powerful attacks that can counteract your opponent’s attacks Impact Break: + (Follow-up on hit with / / ) Universal overhead attacks that can be followed up for combos Extend Action: Holding or pressing the button for Normals and Specials again (character specific) The attack will change by holding the button (or pressing it again in some cases) Special Moves: Specific commands+ / / (Character Specific) Characters have 3-4 special moves, and Weak, Medium and Strong versions of each Climax Arts: Specific Commands+ + Powerful super moves. You can use A+C for a stronger version, which will cost 2 meters and 1 trump card icon. Reflection Guard: While guarding, press any two attack buttons ( , ,or ) simultaneously A push block to gain space from your opponent that slowly drains your meter EX Special Moves: Any special move command+ + Stronger versions of your character’s special moves which will cost 1 meter Support Cancel: during an attack Cancels your attack and calls your Support which will cost 1 meter You can regain one icon when you lose a round. Dengeki FIGHTING CLIMAX: Announced at TGS.
Setsuna replied to InWithTheAshes's topic in Misc Fighter Central
They already stated long ago that when the game was revealed a long with the arcade release time period they were aiming for a Fall release this year for consoles. More characters should be a given (I hope), the game had a lot of potential with character line up but I have no idea whats going on in their heads looking at a lot of questionable assists -

Keep an eye out for Swagna5B/SenaxLuna (pretty sure its the same player). He plays Ragna as well so don't be surprised if he just picks Rags a lot

I don't know where to start with these shoutouts, I met a lot of people for the first time and met a lot of a second time after many long months since Final Round. If I miss you I apologize there is just SO MANY PEOPLE TO MENTION. This was my first NEC, I wanted to go last year but money didn't permit it but after this NEC I'm making this priority over EVO. I'll put enough money from each of my Tax Returns into my savings to make sure I make it to this each year ~! I think the first mentions should go to Alan (St1ckBug) and Circuitous. Alan I could hear his voice dying each day, he was basically in a TOs position where everyone asks him for everything because to all of us he's all knowing. He made brackets, ran brackets, handled stream and had to deal with apparently "rape" mention B.S to please us and make this a wonderful event for his. Circutious is a super nice guy, helped transport people back and forth between the Hotel and Copa which isn't a short drive at all. I'm happy to have finally seen Alan again since CEO 2012 and meet Circ for the first time. My teammates Psykotik and Shaka for . Mr. Mortified’s Doujin Archive's. I didn't think we'd make it as far as we did and especially surprised when we defended the Killer Team of SKT only to lose to the team after (Psykotik you're banned from mappign taunt for the rest of your life lol). Overall it was a fun and it's a shame the archive wasn't saved on Twitch, I wanted to see the special moment when we had a group hug on stream. Tone and Axis for the hilarious Saturday Night. I won't go into detail about it but I will leave this video link as ShinSyn did which will probably summarize it on it's own. Tone for being a suepr cool guy and my favorite person of the weekend, I'm living in the wrong state. Axis for wearing cat ears, a bell and tail (being Kokonoe) for the weekend. Doug (ChosenNinja) and Alex (Nobodyexe) for taking me with them to the Chima, it was so godlike, food was amazing. I'm ignoring the bill of $70 ... no regrets. Congrats to both of you (as well as PAIN for your placing in the tournament) S/Os to Sunday Night where we had a Red vs Blue in BBCP where the Team Captains had to take a shot everytime a teammate of theirs lost (RIP KV, SKD, huey, brkrdave). Drunk KidViper and huey is godlike ~! S/Os to those and their tournament placings (Omni, Danke, JOURDAL, huey, brkrdvae, nano, delta etc) in teams and to those who placed in singles (SKD, LK, Omni again, Grover, SKD (again), Bace). S/Os to Mahouko for living out the dream of being an idol at an event, I-I want to be an idol too ~! S/Os to everyone who said Kirino sucks this weekend to me, I love all you Tsunderes so much <3 (ESPECIALLY YOU CIRNO AND KIDVIPER) S/Os to everyone I met for the first time such as ... this list will be too long so I'm just going to skip it @////@ S/Os to my waifu Kirino, I love you Kirino ~! I'm going to cut the Shoutouts here because I need to return to the vortex known as finals, studying and getting ready for work. Maybe I'll edit this post or leave it as is. I feel bad for leaving anyone out of this shoutout post but time won't permit it ... g-gomen ...

That one kokonoe out of the army ? I hope it wasn't mine because mine is horrible right now www GGs to everyone I played
-
Love you ~! I only played against one Azrael so far but it was a good player I know personally and I got completely dominated so this will help a lot ~!
-
I'm not in charge of the Highlander Thread but I'll let the person who is know
-
Thanks for the note, didn't notice it when I played. I'll add it in.
-
Added a short strategy for Noel using Stylish Mode Tager, she's not hard and neither are the 3 opponents after her in course A
-
That is correct, I'm working on those last three descriptions right now (too tired last night). Even if it's just beating the first opponent 10 times it's kind of a pain.
-
That's always been the case with previous games but I'll add that note for anyone who didn't know
-
For those who didn't believe me about being able to blue beat Carl's trophy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsiX3ZtQqjs Also added video links for Hakumen, Nu and Tsubaki
-
Its reaching the next class, going from Kyu to Dan. It's easy you don't even have to really win matches. I updated the guide with that.
-
I blue beat this trophy and it somehow unlocked for me, I might test again on another account

Who is the easiest character to use ? Dora: "Noel" If you want a beginner character to learn BB overall though Ragna or Jin would be a better choice.
