  1. i'm more happy about bthrow wallbouncing consistently now, that shit is annoying.
  2. who would be in charge of this? they'd have to be a strong player, unbiased, have free time, etc etc there are lots of good ideas in this thread but hardly anyone seems willing to step forward to make them happen
  3. i have your ps3 controller+wire i stole last year if you want that back? i can definitely meet up with you and give it to you whenever you want, just lemme know
  4. i'll post it if osuna gives the OK, wouldn't want the world to know of his awful hair without his consent
  5. i would also like to back osuna up on being a very good player and a generally cool guy except for his bed-head, that shit is just crazy.
  6. sG and everyone who taunted me with spicy chicken nuggets on irc you better buy me some when i come to seattle >:C
  7. netplayer general is a beacon of hope in the desolate wasteland that is dustloop forums
  8. http://www.phreakmods.com/products/teasy-mod all you need is a screwdriver, it's really really easy
  9. edit: you know what fuck it you're dumb
  10. 236B > 66 > 5C > 2C > 214C > walk back 6C > 22C > 5C > 6A > 6C > 22C > 5C > sjc j.B > j.C JC j.B > j.C j.236AXXX 45 heat, 5651 damage
  11. using mami RC to get in and pressure and force some momentum is fine like cirno said but just mashing it out and hoping you hit at the cost of 50 meter is a really scrubby tactic
  12. more like pick up game, go to tournament, play pre-tournament casuals, socialize with people, lose first round of tournament, get sent to losers, watch other people better than you play, learn from them, lose loser's round, ask opponent for advice on what you could improve on, watch the rest of the better players than you play and try to learn from them, play after-tournament casuals, improved. come on, tournaments aren't that simple where you just play your tournament matches and then do nothing.
  13. if you want an example of good informative commentary, just get qwerty to commentate and emulate him
  14. hi my name is cake and i approve this message
  15. yes you will. not really. practicing at home is a small part of BB. once you've mastered combos, setups, etc you have to actually learn how to play people, which is done by playing people at tournaments irl. YES HE WILL. playing real people and figuring out what moves to avoid, how to move around, which moves your character has that are good, asking for advice from better players than you, etc etc will help you improve IMMENSELY in a short amount of time. yes there is, a weekend playing nearly nonstop is tons of time to learn the game. so you don't want to improve? wat. by going to tournaments, yes. what it comes down to is, are you willing to put time and effort into improving at blazblue? if you're not, by all means, play netplay and never go to tournaments. if you DO want to play competitively and become good, then you need to play offline. bottom line.
  16. i'd love for platinum to be much better, at the moment nobody really plays her in japan or america.
  17. people make time, you could too lots of people are in this situation, plan to go to a tournament when it's happening/organize with other people and ask if they'll give you a ride for gas money/take the bus/etc etc majority of fighting game players are poor college students with loans to repay, jobs to go to, and classes to attend. no fucking excuses, don't give me that shit and act like you're the only person with responsibilities.
  18. you could also try playing offline just saying
  19. play offline
  20. yes that was me, if you come to NWM you can have it back lol
