I like everything about Xrd, except lack of Johnny. But that's ok 'cause all the characters look fun to play. I've been wanting to play a Daisuke Guilty Gear ever since Mori did a Guilty Gear. Game is guilty gear speed, hitstop looks to be slightly longer though. Pote hitting CH 2H, you really know you got hit. Almost Melty Blood level counter hit freeze frame. Strider 2 came out, but all I've been doing is watching Xrd streams.

I haven't seen any footage of Slayer getting a CH PileBunker. If it wallbounces in this game, you gonna see a lot more 2-hit DHD combos.

In #R, CH gave wall bounce, so free combo for no additional meter as long as you weren't too close to the center of the stage. I mean, it ain't like AC where you get a combo no matter what. edit: in fact, since this is going back to a more #R-like Slayer, probably going to end up with a dizzy if you follow up with a nice pile bunker combo Slayer did a ton of stun back then.

getting counter hit by DoT is always bad

You probably can 6P the mid chain, but even if you can't 6P the chain, Axl gets that favorable guessing game because you let him/he got past the stance's huge upfront cost. In the video, Axl lands a clean green chain and stances up, but Venom gets back up before Axl is even half way done. He does it again latter in the video and times it better, but Venom still gets up before he's done. They also look negative on block, and horrible on whiff. Potemkin buster from full screen? Saving your gold burst for the stance looks like an easy catch all for everyone in the cast. Or YRC tiger time?

It looks like the chains off that stance have hurt boxes all the way down the chain.
