Last night I beat Ian with only Ensengas. Anti-Air Ensenga, zoning Ensenga, poking Ensenga, low-crush Ensenga, mixup Ensenga, ensenga Ensenga. If Order-Sol had a higher jump, maybe even crossunder Ensenga. Don't worry Ian, I've done this to everyone atleast once.

Arcade CT was fun when we weren't really sure about anything. On the second day, I knew all of Hakumen's C attacks were stupidly punishable on block, but as long as I played like they were +frames on block, then people fought it like it was +frames on block. Held that secret close, till after the c3 tournament, then dropped the game. Isn't that funny? Play like it's a good game and people will believe it's a good game. Maybe training mode is actually bad for games. Chaos Breaker is a good game.

It looks like CS2 has a more interesting set of strong characters, but Arakune still looks to be a bastard. Console release/training mode will be the real test. And combos look not boring, or at least less loopy. Combos are pretty single player, but not boring combos are always a plus for people watching or getting hit by them. MD GG tournaments have become pretty stale. They've essentially become Steve H donation drives/can predict top5. (Might have to try a different format.) Our tournaments are sometimes non-existent, but we still do come out and play. MD GG has been doing a good job of holding sessions for the past 7, 8-some years. We don't fill up an entire house like we use to, but we have been managing to keep sessions going every week or two. We just don't post up every session we have since the scene has become super-close knit and are very spur of the moment. Which by the way, if anyone wants in, speak up. We up in that Xanadu, if you need a ride we might be able to work something out. (but wholly shit, three dollars a gallon) And I'm still pretty generous with my time and teaching people GG. btw, good games today. Ian, I will work on more ways to hit you with 6H.

November Xanadu was kinda crappy, numbers wise. Only SSF4 and ST happened. But the ST turnout was good and there was a bit of 2k2um action as well. SSF4 turn out was kinda weak. GG didn't happen, not did it happen the month before. At the rate GG is going, we might as well just have it be a Steve H vs Matt C money month. You know MD and them new games. But if you wanna run them old games, MD got your back. December turn out might be better, winter break and all. But who knows. A lot of og MD gg players are some combination of not liking AC, life, or AC feels funny. New blood is scarce. If you all are coming down, then I'll put in my notice for that week end, and you at least have me and Steve H+Matt C and my two setups. So I hear it's going to snow saturday and sunday. Winter please stop cock blocking my days off. I guess if that happens, I'll troll #r online.

Same day as Xanadu January tournament... Which is also the same day as magfest, which I didn't think there was much overlap, but what do I know in this new age of SUPER STREET FIGHTER FOUR!! Fighting games are intimidating! !!!! Online scene oxymoron anyways, you're going to want to get familiar with Xanadu. Location in the first post. And I say potentially because if you play BlazBlue, getting BB players to come out has proven pretty difficult. But any other game, you can find atleast a couple of above-average to world-class players. Except SF4, from which you will suffer the MD new-game option-select: "Yo, ugh! I don't even play this game, niggaaaaa!!"

If the MD dustloop thread was representative of MD, then a third of Maryland don't even live in Maryland and another third don't even play fighting games regularly. And the last third I haven't seen for months. Don't lose to online strats.
