Continuing along these lines. If you all don't see the value of playing your game at Xanadu, then you guys don't see the value of letting other people see you playing the game. When I first came to UMBC, I was deep in to GG. I didn't want to training mode this game forever. I was going to play other people. I heard there was a gameroom, figure that's where I gotta play. Went up and it was Tekken central. Three TVs of Tekken's, with atleast four people waiting at each TV. So of course I played some Tekken. But when there was a TV free, I hopped out of line and went to practice some GG. For awhile I was that guy that practices GG. Did that for a few weeks, then DizzDan found me there, and for the next few weeks we were those two guys that play GG. Third guy caught us while we were playing Soul Calibur, but you see where I'm getting at here? You know why Xanadu Wednesdays are on Wednesdays? Cause it was born from the huge GG sessions that happened in UMBC's gameroom every Wednesday night. You can't make it up to Xanadu? That's understandable. Price of crude oil just went up cause people mad in Egypt. But you all got this thread. You all should use this thread. Had a good session, be like, "Yo, good sessions last night." You could even plan your sessions in this thread. (But beware of fighting games.) Hell, played some online matches? Then you can come in here and say, "Yo, Taokaka on blast! Shout outs to free throws!" Two some months ago there was a guy who chimed in. Was like, "Do you guys play BB? I'm gonna be in town for a week, where do I got o get some BB games in?" No one could help him.

If I wasn't always carrying two bags so Steve H can play some GG, I'd be bringing a 2k2um setup. Though, AH3 is out now, and that's too many games dividing my time. So once again, KOF gets pushed aside for another game that more people will play. SNK, why can't you plan your releases more strategically? Seems like we won't be seeing any new fighting games from SNK, so 2k2um might get another window of opportunity in a few years. LoL.

Seriously, if someone bashes your game, it most likely has nothing to do with your game. You are free to play your game and no body will care. Unless you are keeping them from playing their game. Maybe you're using the only PS3 in the house, or a TV, or table. Whatever. They are just saying shit cause they want you out of the place, so they can play their game. Fighting games, get on the ball. C3 ran fighting game tournaments along side Smash. Fighting games HATE HARD on Smash. But shit was civil as long as Smash wasn't using our TVs, or our space, or our time. GG use to catch flak too, but people were real gentlemanly as long as we weren't keeping people from their games.

Yo Alex, I just read all your posts, but why you mad though? But nah, I'd like to see some BB at next monthly, I won't be playing but I'd like it to be there. Though honestly I dunno if there's going to be enough room in the building with MvC3 and AH3 in the house. But like, do people really don't want to go to Xanadu cause of potential BB bashing? Cause, yo, fighting game scene, where you been at? Scene is abrasive. Get hard. Fighting games, don't you like fighting? But I mean, MD didn't get transformed by SF4 like everywhere else. The scene here is still the way the scene was everywhere else. If you're jealous of other areas' embracing new games and hand-holding new players, I'm sorry. We don't got no girls and pool parties to ease the transition. But yeah, Xanime Monthlies? AH3, GGAC, BBCS, MBAA, KOF. FUC... It'd probably have to take a Sunday slot. There's a lot more player overlap between those games, with little crossover in to the more mainstream games. The main monthly gets more space for MvC3 and SF4. And a not-SF4 game can have a chance at some stream time, and BB players can not get bashed at. Though, the one time there was a BB tournament, non-BB players were too involved in their own games to take time away to bash a game they have no interest in. (so what's the problem?) Did you all expect people to be captivated? If you all wanted attention, then you all should of made some noise.
