Actually I'm quite sure he did it with back throw... Although I guess it could be done with a forward throw too... If 2C had more head inv. I think Jin might start becoming a tad broken...

Oh god. I need to make sure nobody Vapor Thrusts me. Or worse...they make me Ride The Lightning... On a serious note, why would you do a throw after a guard break? Edit: After a guard break, isn't there some proration? Like, if you did 720 after a guard break it would do less damage?

I don't understand how 6B overhead would be broken. It would be so easy to block. A very easy to spot (and react to) jumping kick that takes 25 frames to become active. The fact that it goes over some character's 2A's is alright, but then people could just as well do 5A like they 5A Gauntlet Hades. You know what would be broken? If 5C / 2C could combo into 6C always. Edit: Since this isn't the place to discuss our wishes, I'll add in some input for his current changes: If Jin's 5D no longer freezes long enough to continue a combo, we could at least try some mixup or bait mashing. Lol, we should try 6B right after 5D dash cancel to bait 2A's. Or we could throw. Or bait DP. /random thoughts

So I go and read the Platinum thread...and apparently she is like Zappa because she has 6 different styles that are randomly summoned when you press D. Oh, and I think she has the longest overhead in the game. ...I think she might become bullshit. Although that's my reaction for every DL character

Lol Rachel mains got raped. Let's hope she gets some of her old powers back. I really hope Jin stays relatively the same...he doesn't really need any buffs or nerfs... Although, a 6A gatling would be nice. Actually, 5C > 5D might be a bit OP. With frame advantage perhaps?

Wow, that actually sounds like Venom's CR loop. As for this Saturday, I'm not even free. Gotta go out of town to help parents. Hopefully you get at least some people in the tourney, Tin Man.

As for JC > j.a > 236 A/B/C > air dash, you have to add the j.a to increase your height slightly so you can air dash. I don't know why, but it works. Be careful though, because after you land, there will be some recovery that leaves you slightly open and unable to continue pressure. Good for tick throws though. Also, a good setup for J.B crossup is 5B > jump cancel forward > j.a > j.b, but be careful, because if they block it, you can't really continue the block string because j.2c doesn't hit (if you choose to gatling into it). As for keeping pressure reliable after 5C....Jin doesn't really have anything that lets him continue pressure besides IAD > 236D. Maybe jump cancel backward > delayed j.c for those who are either cornered or trying to mash or something. Of course, this is why Jin is mid tier. Edit: One last note, don't abuse 6B against Tager because he can Atomic Collider you. 6B is good against Arakune's fatal shark move (3C?) and Litchi's staff sweep (3C?).

I'm not 100% sure, but 6C on counter hit is untechable until the opponent hits the ground. I usually follow up a counter hit 6C (from any height) with a dash cancel > dash (again) 6C > air combo. -
GGs tonight, everyone! Sorry Martine, my parents were waiting outside so I didn't want to keep them waiting. And yeah, I agree with Dio. GG is all about oki and matchups. BB is...IB Hotenjin / 720.

I guess my view on GG and BB are somewhat distorted, since I play a very hard character in GG (Venom) and a pretty easy character in BB (Jin, despite the fact some of his advanced knockdown combos are quite character specific). Well, most characters in BB are easy, lol. Carl is probably the hardest to play. So, to me at least, GG is a lot harder than BB simply because there is a lot more emphasis on knockdown and mixup. Plus, execution in GG is harder than BB, especially with the easy gatlings / links due to the 5 frame buffer for BB. Lastly, GG has a faster pace than BB, making it harder to react and make decisions during a match.

I wouldn't recommend using 2C to punish a tech roll. It's way too slow. And also about block strings, I think 2B > 2C might be able to be poked out of. Depends if Jin gets any hitstun / startup changes or not.

I don't know...if all of this actually happened, people might actually block 6A consistently now... 6A > 5C feels weird though. I think 6A being able to special cancel on block might be nice.
