  1. 1) You can instant airdash into J.2C. From there, either allecan or continue with J.C depending on Nirvana's position. It is possible to go into 2D loop from a fatal J.B. If you allecan, you can continue with 5C > SJ.B > J.C > DJ.C > J.2C > Allegretto (wait until Carl bounces from J.2C before doing allegretto). Optionally you can add in a Brio.
  2. Would it be wise to start a corner loop after a forward throw into the corner? I'm pretty sure a back throw has better proration than a forward throw, but I'm not sure what to follow up a forward throw with.
  3. So I'm not crazy... But apparently Michi doesn't even know about it. At least she was credited for it though.
  4. I'm not the best translator, but I'm pretty sure I'm better than Google Translate XD 各種Aは連打可能 means you can freely gatling between A's. dcは見た目ダッシュの特殊技 一定距離ダッシュで途中行動不可 means you can't cancel the dash cancel into anything until it ends. I hope I got it right...if not, someone please correct me.
  5. No, 2B does not gatling into 5B anymore.
  6. Guys, take a look at the JP BBCS Navigation Guide. It says you need to beat Score Attack mode to unlock the unlimited form of the character.
  7. Sadsoul: If you want to spam Jin's DP's, make it 623A or 623B instead of 623C (do you understand number pad notation?). 623C is slow and easy to counter if on whiff or block. Even then, don't spam too much. It's easy to see the moves coming. Using 2A to poke is alright though. Your opponent was also not very experienced, so you probably don't realize that you could have been punished a lot. Never use 214A/B/C (ice car) to approach. No problems with aggression, just learn combos. Try not to put in too many A's into your combo, they lower damage significantly. Never use C-mash outside of combos. And don't worry, 1:12 would be difficult to react to, even with experienced players, lol. Aureliano: Thanks for the tip. I was way too nervous and saw a nice, big 5D coming from Tager, so I just did what I thought of first. But yeah, you're definitely right.
  8. First time I'm posting a video of myself playing...it's BBCS by the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pK4bk_zu-7U#t=3m25s This is a tourney, so I was a bit nervous (especially against Tager...) Lots of hit-unconfirm, lol. Definitely need to work on hit confirm...
  9. I thought he wasn't allowed? Or is he...I don't even remember who's level 1 or 2 anymore. It was a very nice experience guys, hope we can do it again over the summer! Multiple times hopefully! Edit: Not round robin please. Unless we have very few teams or something, because I want food.
  10. That's why we're low tier T_T But seriously, 2A has better starting proration than 2B? Thanks for the info.
  11. Take a look at this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTbyusae2CU#t=1m08s
  12. What's the difference between using 2A and 2B for oki? All I know is that 2A can be used on reaction because it's fast, but any pros with 2B (besides damage)? And Nov, that video is from a long time ago, from a player who, despite being pro (Buppa, lol) wouldn't be the best person to learn Jin from in BBCS (at least I don't think so, he doesn't even main Jin anymore). I think Hiroshi, Konan, and Ren would be your top picks...
  13. The best reference was definitely when Tsubaki was doing Joseph Joestar's super from the Jojo game. CAESAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
  14. How does he use 2A so well? I'm pretty sure it doesn't have head invulnerability or anything...
  15. Um...I believe that was me I suck though. And I can't go to Lovegety too often, so...no practice for me...
  16. Because I'm obsessed with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I'm gonna say that was the first fighting game where you play as two people. Also, to stay on topic... I chose Jin because he uses Ice. I then chose to sub Carl because he's purple and reminds me somewhat of Canas from Fire Emblem (plus the fact that he reminded me of Jojo). Then, when I saw Hazama, I thought...he's the coolest guy ever, with the best distortion in the game.
  17. I don't think it will be a good idea to have the English VAs do a show. They don't have the same public image like Japanese VAs do. They only voice act, and that's it. Japanese VAs on the other hand participate in a lot of public events, plus they sing and maybe even act in dramas and the like. English VAs...most of them we've never seen or even heard about. I suppose someone who goes to a lot of anime conventions might be acquainted with them though.
  18. ...I think Tetsuya Kakihara has become my new hero XD Also, definitely looking forward to Yuichi Nakamura's appearance on Bururaji! (He hasn't been on yet has he?)
  19. Thanks a lot Souseta! I've been waiting for Ren's return!
  20. I've had trouble with the 1632143D command as well. I've tried pretending to be Tager and buffering a 720, and it works. The only bad thing is that it might be a bit obvious to the opponent...
  21. Do you mean that the opponent techs out first? Or that it just misses? Usually I do 2A > 5B (1 hit, don't know if you can land both hits) > 5C > air combo
  22. From this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXwCS0oJXjM#t=54s Jin is able to knock Noel down with ice car, I thought 214C didn't connect unless the opponent was frozen? Is it character specific?
  23. Beast of Fire, sorry for adding more to your big queue, but I'd like to request a tab for Still In The Dark. Great work so far on the tabs you've already done!
  24. I believe it was: 2B (OTG hit) > 5C > sjB > jC > jD > j236B > j214C I don't know if it works on everyone though, the timing for 214C is pretty tough. There may be more variations, but I remember seeing this combo for the first time and trying out different methods of doing it, but I could only do it off OTG 2B. Note: You can't do this if the enemy is against the wall because after jD they won't move back and the 236B won't hit them.
  25. Fireball zoning works against most of the other characters, but with Tao, she has 2 options: 1) Use her drive to jump over and approach, from the front or from behind or 2) Crawl under I suppose jC is the way to go, but then again, the Tao players I face don't approach with air dashes, they either try to make you think they will (and then drop and quickly approach with drive), or just straight up drive into your face. I think the main problem with Tao is that it's hard to get a good position for poking. Once you do get a hit in though, a single combo can take out a good chunk off her life. Note: There are only 2 characters I face at my arcade: Tager, and Tao But only because I never go on the busy days
