  1. Be sure to mention in part 2, 3, or whatever part of your choosing, how combos work. A common misconception from the ignorant is that everyone is just mashing out combos in these games, but really it's a lot more complex than hitting some buttons and doing fireballs on the stick. Mention how a lot of combos are often very timing specific, spacing specific, and sometimes character specific, etc.
  2. CS Rachel vs Arakune is pretty much exactly how it was in CT, except now frog does not negate clouds.
  3. I can. Venue too expensive for a venue that isn't Evo Long drive if you don't live in SoCal Total price of trip may not be worth it if you only play one game Uncertainty of format or how many set ups there will be WCW1 was a complete and utter disaster, leaving a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths
  4. Read a few posts back, guy...
  5. Bang mirrors are just awful. On second thought, Bang is just awful.
  6. Funny how you uploaded them only because they all have Bang in them. zzzzzzzzzzz
  7. I'm wondering if this should be put in the Beginner Mode section. Y/N?
  8. Mike, I am hype for Skull Girls. Lemme test it for youuuuuuuuuuuu~ =3=
  9. Apparently Dacidbro losing made Mother Nature of Norcal angry too, because we're getting hit hard with a big thunder storm.
  10. I'm talking about two out of three straight games. There is a difference. :P
  11. Probably has more to do with two out of three games being more conistent that best of one.
  12. Confirmed from Render. Winners - Bang Camaro and Zong Losers - Me (cus I'M RENDER, get it?) and Dacidbro Top 4 tomorrow~
  13. 2C is a bigger threat than AT. AA AT requires some yomi/reading. Jumping in on Tager is pretty much the same. 5B has one more active frame than it did in CT. It can actually catch Tager during a backdash, providing it wasn't done early.
  14. Noel's 5A has always hit everyone crouching, even Litchi and Rachel.
  15. Someone should bring some speed stick just in case. And air freshener.
  16. I think her crouching hitbox is the same; ground GH had its hitbox improved.
  17. WHAT ARE YOU DOING James sounds drunk in this tournament.
  18. Actually that's another way to hold a JP stick, although it's less common. It still focuses on moving the stick with your fingers rather than your wrist... for the most part. I think. Good news! I can make singles this month! My nephew's birthday party is on a Sunday instead of a Saturday.
  19. I think the most important thing people need to know when learning how to play on stick is that your movements are done with your fingers, not your wrist. I've seen people do weird stuff by moving their entire wrist/hand to do fireball or DP motions. It's just easier to do use your fingers. Or, if you're Tager, your gadget fingers! Bahahaha~
