Sorry if this has come up before (I checked the past 30 or so pages and couldn't find any info on it) but the emblems seem to be cut off for some of the wider ones like Mu's and Noel's. Possible to get them in full (really, I only need Mu's one since I can't find any decent sized ones anywhere and I can't crop the CS emblem well enough to get it right).

It would only be useful in the corner and will probably work only once. Instead of 623D, you can have frame trap options so: if they tech backwards do a HJIAD with either throw or tick throw (or pressure if you want) but there is an option select if you see the opponent neutral tech so you can do a highlow mixup (or if you delayed your HJ, air dash cross up). if you think they are going to tech forwards, HJ throw or air pressure If you are really good with reacting to your opponent's tech, then you can just do a HJ and choose to air dash at the right time based on what they do. To mix things up slightly, you can do the risky option of allowing them to recover and do a 6C if they went backwards (and if blocked, you can go into 6D), delayed slightly 2C if they went forwards (6D follow up regardless of hit confirm, fatal, or block unless they are a certain char with an air DP) or back into pressure if they went neutral. -

Depends on the timing of your 5C but you should be able to recover quick enough after 5C whiff if you pressed it just before they neutral tech to go into 2A to be at an advantage. You could go for a block if you did do it slightly after they woke up and hope it is IB to go for DP punish or something. -
Any point to 6A? I mean seriously, no head invincibility (well, I don't notice any on startup) and there aren't any combos for it in challenges or technical discussion.

It also works with back throw. You can mix it up with a non-cross up 6C if you can land it consistently.

Definitely if they are gonna make it a useless attack. And I think they should make one of the hits of j.236D primer break. And while I'm at it, primer break with 2D so it is possible to guard break tager;) -
Been trying them out and damn, those are some insane timing. Gotta literally press all the buttons as if you were doing a burst as soon as the first hit of the ice hits.

Jin got buffed. He is now all about Oki game. You can do 3C>214B for knockdown and go for wakeup mindgames. 2C>5C gatling is a minor buff but a buff none the less. Put it this way, no nerfs:yaaay:

Oh right. I'm officially a dumbass now. Well it will have slightly longer combos in Fatals now and my theorised OTG ender (although i doubt it will work). -

Well you can have some very long combos now not just off a 2C fatal but a 236236D>RC combos too. Theoretically you can probably do: 2C (FCH)>5C>2C>6C>2D>6B>5C>2C>5C>6C>5C>hjc>J.C>J.214D>(Land dash) 6C>214C So longer combos with more damage, heat etc Or maybe: 236236D>RC>TAUNT>6B>2C>5C>2C>5C>6C>2C>hjc>J.C>J.2C>jc>J.2C>214D>6C>214C Although I'm theorising a 214D>2C>5C>214C finisher instead of 6C>214C. Although things can change as it is only the first loketest. Could just be me but I have this gut feeling that Jin will be top tier with this balance change... -

It works in the corner if you delay it slightly. Midscreen I'm not too certain

Counter hit basically stops the opponent in place for a few frames and gives it longer hitstun/untechable time (which freezes aren't affected by) as well as slightly higher and further push. Basically, counter freezes will just give you a few more frames before the untechable time will kick in. Well, I think that is how it is.

I usually use 623C multihit IB>623C like on Noel's 6C during drive or maybe when the obvious ragna does 214A. As long as it gets into knockdown, I don't really care about damage.

Depending on the character, doing 5B>2B>5C>3C>236D won't work however 5B>5C>3C>236D will (on characters like another Jin). However, if you are just going for knockdown, a little extra damage won't hurt.

What about against Hakumen players abusing j.2C or Bangs using j.C? 623B is the better option? When is a good time to use 2C as an Anti air? Or should I avoid using it as one?

Any particular 236236D>RC combo that will work universally? Just a way to finish in style. Would prefer it to have a taunt. Been messing around myself with it and can get about 4.5k by doing 236236D>RC, Backdash>236C, Dash 6B>5C>2C>6C>dc>2C>6C>j.C>jc>j.2C>214D>6C>214C -

When pressuring, never use the same pressure string as you did before. You don't need to finish it all the time with 3C/6C or special move. Better if you finish it with something with fast recovery like 2A or 5B as people will be expecting that next attack so you can dash in and restart pressuring again instead of going into 5C. If they are barrier blocking a lot, you will probably need to close the gaps a lot more but you should include a throw somewhere as it will slip their mind. -

2C, 6C, 623B (not sure about A and C), second hit of 623D (not too certain of the first hit). All those can be barrier blocked a part from the second hit of 623D. -

I've been experimenting around with the 3C>236C corner setup for various mixups. Options I've found: 1. If they roll in a direction/quick wakeup, it will hit and then you can combo into 5C>hjc>j.2C>j.D>AD>j.B>j.2C>land>dash>5B>2B>5C>3C or instead of airdash, Land>Reset combo>2B>5C>623B>corner combo (low) or AD>delayed (for reset)>j.2C>land>corner combo or Land>reset>throw>623B corner combo. Obviously, there is the option of going into a 4k+ combo or something if you think it will finish them. 2. If they delay their wakeup, just wait for the combo counter to reset then do 2B>5C combo (may not be in the corner as they may do a forward roll so this is just one of those options) 3. And something I was experimenting with last night, if they are going to do a neutral wakeup: do a jump and go into a mixup as if it were a 3C>236D reset. 4. IF they have a DP, bait it out by doing option 3 but block instead. Then Fatal corner combo if they don't have 50% heat to save them self otherwise, you could counter with your own DP. Obviously, there are tons more options and I would like to know a few more as a fellow Jin player. I've been theorising a walkback>6C oki but I've never been able to put it to practice. Should work when 5C Oki doesn't work against the smaller hitboxes but a lot harder to time with more reward if you choose your combos right. Also I have some notes on my other computer which I would like to share but currently, it is decommissioned so I'll post them when I have retrieved the files. I would like to add to it as I have yet to read this whole thread for things I've missed out.
