  1. Keep putting pressure on them and do one of these: 1. Go for crossup (AD>j.A(whiff)>j.B) 2. Go for a jump into an attack in the air>land>High/low attack (go for a double high attack) or throw 3. Go for a throw subtly like 2A>dash>throw (tick throw I think the term is, someone correct me). 4. Riskier option but more rewarding if in/near the corner is to bait an attack and go for DP.

Also included a Mu one as well. Some I win some I don't. I did learn a few things some time after the recordings is that when lambda does 214D best place to be is right on top of him where I can either attack or bait or cross up.
  3. With the 3C>236D reset, what do you guys do with Tager's backdash? AD>j.B will whiff, any ground attack will whiff. Risky 214B>RC?
  4. What corner combos do people recommend doing of a CH 623B? Preferrably one that doesn't eat up more than 50% heat (or if you start with over 25% heat when you do 623B).
  5. Yup. I use it quite a couple of times in this vid especially towards the end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKBLiPhDxyQ It works only on quick getups and depending on the characters forward roll and backward roll. Same applies for CS. Obviously not a good idea if you think they are going to do a neutral wakeup as the recovery time for a whiffed 5C isn't good but the reward is great.
  6. Thanks for the answers guys! I think I might do that for when the opponent has a small hitbox upon wakeup so then 5C Oki in the corner doesn't work or I will do it when they aren't predictable when it comes to their wakeup game.
  7. Just wondering, what does the 3C>236C combo finisher achieve? I mean if it does hit, I can't really follow it up other than with another oki (high double jump throw usually). Isn't it better to just let them attempt to get up and do 5C upon their wake up as 3/4 wakeups it will hit and you can go into another combo?
  8. My bad, found out that if you delay the attack slightly (so you start to fall) the attack will hit.
  9. j.5C only hits if they are Hakumen or Tager unless they dash or jump. I think I will go for the j.236D option (maybe j.236B or backdash if low on heat). What about when high in the air, a j.236B>air dash j.5C/j.2C/j.236C? As for the ground, I think a mixup of 5D and 2D are the best options? Maybe IAD j.2C/j.236D or a small ground dash then 5C if I want to get close.
  10. What good follow ups are there after a throw had been pushed away? I need a bit of help with this especially when in the air. I know back dash is the safe option but what if I want to go into the rushdown and blockstrings? What attacks can easily follow after a tech that is fairly safe?
  11. 1.) Ah ok. So should I go for a bait option? Usually when I do IAD j.D, I follow it up with a j.236D if blocked but if it is risky then I guess I better stop doing that. 2.) Style points lol. Didn't really test out damage but I did see Ren do something like that in one of his early matches. I couldn't get the timing down with the 6C>DC>5C>6C>j.B>etc and found it was a lot safer to do the 'stylish' one if I messed up. Also nerves would kick in too but with experience I guess I'll get there. 3.) I love abusing j.B but I think I have a problem where I don't know when to not use it after every jump. Like before, experience will get me there. 4.) Is it really worth doing sekkajin combos? Wouldn't 5B>3C>2B>5C combos be more powerful (even though I barely used it)? Oh and I don't understand why Bang is near the bottom of the tier list? I seem to find that he is probably the better jack of all trades than Jin.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9bTYs0giUg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NxGt4trAmg I always seem to struggle against Bang players. Gonna be even more of a problem in CS... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Mr7Eh6HTIs Any way that I could improve? I know I have to improve IB and hit confirm (found out I could have done many C>214B) and I got perfected once but still managed to come out on top in the third video. Keep in mind that all these matches were in a tournament which is a first for me and I was using a stick I'm not used to (Hori EX2).
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5TpaSBRJnk A video of me. Other than learn IB>punish, what else can I do to help beat this Bang player? Normally I'd go for a rushdown but he easily blocks all my cross ups and pressure strings.
