i've been playing/practicing on stick now 4 a couple of weeks, and i've come to notice two things. 1-its really easier to do command inputs/moves like quarter circle and dragon punch in sf than in gg. has anyone felt that way after switching from pad to stick? like doing shoryuken with ken is easier than doing ky's shoryuken 623s/h for example,...is it just me or is guilty gear a lot more strict about joystick inputs? has anyone felt the same way when they switched from pad to stick? its not just 623h, but any 214/623/236 in guilty seems a lot harder than sf 214/623/236. 2-aside from that, i find being able to do things on stick that i could never do before on pad(or at least easily), like mid air 632146h attached to the end of some aerial move etc. guilty is a screwy game command wise. i really can't figure out why the basic quarter circle, half circle, dp, and quarter circle+half circle moves are soooo hard to do with consistency when you are not involved in some activity like chaining into combo, while when you do it with no time limit, or no pressure, it seems to come out less frequent. while sf is the total opposite. i end up getting less and less precise joystick motions-wise in guilty as time passes in-game, while in sf my consistency goes up with time playing 4 extended periods. maybe its just my sf background.

play-asia stating that release date is june 2nd 2011. i'm gonna see if i can get this game at half price at another website and pass it onto my local arcade in nyc. if possible

that sucks. i read Cen's post on his thread. he said something like "this is the last weekend before renovations take place in preperation for the grand opening." i have no clue if that means nxt lvl is closed on weekends from now on till the grand opening, or if its still open on weekends. i'm assuming its closed. i think people should wait to see what he posts up on thursday before heading out only to find it closed. if it is.

uh, did the people who went to next level last friday/saturday die or something? just askin' since no one posted "GGs to everyone" and stuff. it makes me think that you all never made it back home on saturday night, lol. @DaiAndOh when you make the tourny date and stuff, just remind me to bring those ps2s i got.

no, i need to learn using an arcade stick, not the games. i've been using console controllers 100% of this time. i can't go to nxt lvl and try something on an arcade stick like for ex: mbaa sion combo, 3B,j.A>B>C>J.A>B>C when i only know how to do it on a ps2 controller all this time, arcade stick is with a totally different button layout+joystick attribute and shit. gotta relearn GG,MB, and AH through "muscle memory" i'll try to muscle memory arcade stick asap,...to get back to sessions asap. should'nt take long...hopefully. also, @jae and tempest dahlia.... LOL, yeah, i'm known as "paragraph guy" on all the forums i'm on. even animenewsnetwork=) dat's why i got infractions all over the place,... well,....there's also all dat trolli...i mean, poignant posting i do.

not making it this weekend and perhaps 2 weekends thereafter. transitioning from ps2/ps3 controller to hori arcade stick i bought. need time to re-learn all my inputs on it for melty, guilty, and arcana. @mahouko, see ya soon. @novareaper, ditto brother. @DaiandOh, i invited citiofbrass and Jae to anime fighter sessions. citi wants to play peeps in AH3 and Jae wants to learn guilty gear. you know Jae, he was the Kamui player at citi's FatCat tourny we went to. show him the ropes in guilty...have him play novareaper whos learning the game too. @Jae, DaiandOh was the Catherine player you played against at FatCat. @Sine...play citiofbrass at AH3. hes a great Lilica player....and sorry bro...i'll get GGs with u asap. i'll do everything possible to re-learn guilty inputs on stick as quickly as possible...want to have great sessions with you and the rest of the gearheads. i had a blast with you. i can't wait to play against your trolling Slayer again=) but, i just don't want any more input frustrations from shitterrific ps2 controller that does nothing but misread/misinterprete inputs. i can't tell u how many times i would do 236236H super only to have my Jam do 22H instead thx due to the console controller not registering my input. its really frustrating seeing my Jam do her 22H charge move at the worst possible time, when i'm trying to do a super. don't even get me started on trying to do 2141236H moves on the crappy D-pad=P shit makes GG sessions more frustrating than fun. plus my left hand starts cramping up after hours playing. see ya in a few weeks. STOP THE PRESSES!!!! i just realized something! remember when i told you guys that henry cen(next level owner) had arcana heart 3...but only for the xbox360..... which means that at least one of his XBOXs is japan import...since we all know that the xbox360 is region locked AND that AH3 was released for xbox360 only in japan.... right, right? follow me? well..... guess what. that means that henry can actually obtain a copy of PHANTOM BREAKER the ANIME LOLITA fighting game that was released for the 360....but released only for the japanese xbox360 ........and we can actually be the few people in the states to get to play PHANTOM BREAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dude, i'm sure they'll be there...somebody will be there that will play you. just make sure you get on a ps3 that isn't being used ASAP. and don't stray from it or you'll never get a chance to play your game because of all the mvc3 people.

well justice, you know mahouko and novareaper will be there and they always show up early, like 5pm. i would advise you get get there early....or the marvel vs capcom 3 people will take over all the ps3s....and you can forget about playing AH3,...since the mvc3 people don't let go of those ps3s for the rest of the night.seriously. bring your friend, was it zevali...just to have 2 people playing each other at AH3 and some mvc3 fanboy doesn't ask you to play mvc3 on the ps3 you are on. i'm sure mahou n nova will give you GGs. most guilty gear peeps play AH3 so don't worry. so do most melty blood playerz. there is a guy named Duke thats always there at night,and he's a beast at AH3 and melty blood. he plays as Eko. he won the AH3 tournament me and Daiandoh competed in months n months ago. be prepared for serious high level play if you face him, cuz he is no joke. and with Eko in his hands...even tougher. Daiandoh is a catherine player n hes a beast too at ah3. @SIne:i aints going this sat or today sine.

like someone already answered, dark blob is dark...or as its sometimes called., Shadow. evil is teleporting with poison. lighting is clash properties added to your character's frames. some of them. go to wiki page to find out which. best thing about lightning is 623E after clash. good reversal. Kira+magnetism=automatic win for you. lastly, yeah, i'm the official AH3 troller...but, to you newbies to AH3 community...don't think the rest of these guys are innocent when it comes to derailing the AH3 threads:P they're not. they R just as guilty. guilty as gear. ;P

why do people say the game has "infinites" when you can burst in the game?

start with heart. shes basic bnb. do this in training mode. 2E>D>when your heart catches up to the training mode dummy-do A>B>4B>C>623X>D....rinse n repeat 3 times. but put homing/super/arcana gauge meter to infinity to save time. it'll take you a while to get the hang of it. also, in training mode, pick a character as your opponent and give her a projectile arcana like ice, love, light, magnetim, etc,...and practice using 6D on every projectile the CPU throws at you, to teach you when to use 6D. you can use 6D in face2face hand to hand combat too...but learn the simple basics of 6D before moving on to more complex uses of 6D. once you get these 2 things down thats Homing oriented, the rest gets much easier to grasp. knowing when+how to defend with the homing button. knowing when+how to use it to tie combos together. Zenia is a rush down character. her default arcana ice, time, and fire help her rushdowns...but the final choice of arcana getting attached to your main is solely up to you and there is no such thing as the "wrong arcana" for your character. its all your personal style or feel. thats why ah3 is so fun. its customizable.529 possible character to arcana meshes. enjoy it for me....cuz i don't have a ps3...and all i got is a super shitty ah2 ps2 port.
