  1. Oh that god gundam doing awesome things. Now that that fkn UBW is done I can work on the fkn blueframe that's been sitting in my closet. When cutting, the outside, for best straight line cuts, use a paper cutter/guillotine, for all purpose cuts use a good old art knife or scalpel. as sakabato said, vertical blades is the best way to cut this stuff out
  2. its not that bad to make a ps2 stick, just go to gamestop and you could padhack one for like 12 bucks. Then all you'll have to do is just hook up buttons and your joystick and you're good to go

  3. this one's already going out to someone, sorry leonil

  4. The UBW is a ps3/ps2/pc but can be fitted for use w/ gamecube/wii. Fun thing is though, I got the wrong chtulhu chip sent to me for that one and because of that it only works for ps3/pc lol. The issue is almost fixed though. My magi stick is a ps3/xbox360/pc

  5. I would say go for seimitsu pink KN's if you still had the art where the holes should be with a pink bubbletop. If you're going for solid buttons and not trying to break your bank, I agree with True_tech here for blue/pink. On a more thread related note.... here's stick #2 in my probably not many sticks collection. This one's for a friend and was a bitch when it came to finishing... I had it done completely and then left it outside to dry and then it rained...... it raised the seams on all the edges, made me cry, and had to sand them all down and do it all over again. It came out pretty well apart from orange peel gloss.... gotta learn how to make it nice and piano finish.
  6. also pay a visit to the arcade every now and then, you learn quite a good deal from watching others there

  7. there's more than enough players in toronto, just take a look in the toronto thread in match finder section

  8. plry just you, links should work fine and dandy either way the home site is http://www.lizardlick.com, just search it up in there all sorts of nice goodies are on there

  9. here's the orange button you could use that you could put your art inside http://www.lizardlick.com/Seimitsu-PS-14-KN-30mm-Pushbutton-Orange_p_503.html they do come in different colours but the ones you want are the clear covered seimitus so you can put art inside them http://www.lizardlick.com/KN-Series_c_188.html translucent buttons with clear covers http://www.lizardlick.com/GNC-Series_c_190.html solid buttons with clear covers thing is though these buttons are firmer than the ones that come in a TE so it would be a while to get used to them

  10. Tager play is all about spacing, spacing and a bit of psychic powers. In other words for tagers to win they need one of two things, luck or to get inside your head. As long as you're unpredictable, punish easy sledge whiffs and mind the gap he's easy enough to beat.
  11. its okay, actually that was my first time ever facing wu, and i only won because he had a brain fart with that purple 720
  12. because i beasted wu, end of story :3
  13. Its not as hard as it looks. Soldering down to the pads on the PCB is more risky if you've never ever touched a soldering iron before but it will provide a more solid connection if done right. Also your diagram is an outdated chimp. New chimp is a tad bigger and has a better labeled section to solder on your USB connections so its all easier.
  14. http://www.donovanmyers.com/2010/02/dual-mod-a-mad-catz-fightstick-tournament-edition-using-toodles-chimp/ try this instead cake, less soldering involved edit - less soldering if you have screw down terminals but generally less soldering when it comes to touching the TE PCB so less chance of fucking up and frying your pcb
  15. right right tournament and such.... i guess sign me up?
  16. There's just something magical about putting top tiers into 720's. It just makes your heart go all warm and fuzzy inside. XBL: mr mortified
  17. bad bad, stop shamelessly plugging my name in when making joysticks...

  18. for whoever had that mangled up piece of a JLF, all you need is a new base. I think LL sold bases before but I don't think they do anymore
  19. fuck yeah an easy moodo stick and damn I'm really envious of that hardwood skills. also is that control panel just 2 layers of hardwood and a layer of plexi or one piece of routed MDF with plexi?
  20. Sol theme is quite nice, but it strains the eyes when you're in settings looking at the boxes on the left. Even with that I'm still using this very nice and sexy looking Sol theme. (who looks at settings anyways)
  21. Pfff try swapping out parts out of any stock hori stick where the buttons are soldered down to the fucking pcb. Still have a few nightmares from it but it works wonders
  22. FFFFFFFFFFFFF I wish my sticks looked like that. Maybe one day when I have enough time and effort to make them so nice and beautiful (or when i run out of MDF and spray paint and use hardwoods and varnishes)
  23. Sadly nothing like that exists, best thing you can do is dual mod it with a MCthullu and an Imp board and use an RJ45 mod for multiple controller cables. Be careful lest you make your TE board nice and crispy with that soldering iron
