  1. You also could too slow with the Hawk Baker > Bull cancel. The earlier you get this out, the higher the bounce. The longer you have for 214K.

  3. Interesting. I'm still using an original 40Gb Fat PS3 and I haven't had any problems. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the loading times of the digital. Have you Digi or Disk? I have heard about these kind of errors on Disk versions before. (not this game).
  4. I'll try that, but I don't understand why it works? do directional inputs have a larger input buffer than buttons?
  5. No buffer explains it, and no control prior is the problem. Does anyone know how many frames you have to get out in the challenge? No, not at all, i'm used to being able to wakeup reversal without thinking. What do you recommend. 623+S - H - S - H or 623S+H. S+H, etc.
  6. Has an Hakumen player I love blitz shield. 12F makes it seem massive. Ye there's something off with the reversal window in this game, I never had a problem in HD remix and that was supposed to be 1frame. (I'm only trying it in the challenge mode ATM, so the blue ky flash is putting me off, rather than helping). Low blitz apparently has 2F less catch time and 8 frames more recovery.   7. What is up with the reversal 1. I'm lucky if i get 1/7. I went in to practice and did 20+ DPs in a row no problem. So why doesn't it come out in challenge?
  8. You could mash through a lil bit faster. I didn't realise you could speed up the text at first. So took me longer, if you wanted to read it all properly.

  10. Bounce is from hitting someone in the air. If you AA someone none CH you can get a charged Driver

  12. I'v tried afew times. Just about can manage to get Hawk Baker to combo, but i'm far too late. RTL hits have some specific timing. I think its gonna be like mission 33, and thats a real bitch to land the j.K.

  14. Does guts kick in during combos? or is the idea get them down to >=51% and then kill them in one combo?
  15. After a driver knockdown you can do 214K FD to bait DP as Skargust posted or 214K j.H as a meaty should have loads of active frames
  16. Story mode is really good so far. Dubs actually pretty good too.... I always wanted them to add Gabriel, now they need to add him after that scene.
  17. 6 I think. I'm usually against this kind of DLC but there is actually some godly ones. Iv been watching story mode for awhile and the Dubs fine. Gabriel scene is my fav so far.
  18. In my opinion hes a mashup of Hakumen and Johnny with a run. If your good at special motions hes fairly easy to pick up, but its gonna be hard to open people up and manage meter for big damage.
  19. Could you check the damage on the RC combos without the 2H (1) and then without 2H and 5H?
  20. That would be logical for ordering but anything ending in beaker driver or 2D knockdown you can eat +10,000 cals. Personally Ill be playing heavy footsies (f.S/Driver), chicken jumping and pole cancel backdash to piss people off eventually get a Beaker driver CH/RC or just simple combo to knock them towards corner. f.S > Elk > Driver does around 100 puts them across the screen, you can eat and on day 1 you cant drop it. Then its all about getting a hit confirm into Red Hawk > Bull > Charged Driver > etc that combo does anywhere from 200 - 280 depending on starter and super finish. Most characters will be nearly done. I agree with Kinkuli posts and about 6P. If you keep stopping them on the ground with f.S/Driver eventually they will IAD... 6P, Bull Bash (CH) opportunities. If my opponents not aggressive, Ill eat twice, then go hardcore on special cancels to pump the gauge, I need to check what damage you get from his 5H(1) > 6H > Red Hawk > Bull > Charged Driver > 214K (j.K) > 5H(1) > 6H > Beaker > RTL on a flashing gauge its around 284 normally. Block string > 3K > RC > 6H > Red Hawk > etc works

  22. Nice find, I know its only day 1 but Sin seems like a monster. Hopefully we can see someone like Satou play him. His XRD Millia is disappointing compared to his Johnny.
