  1. Ok guys, I don't know if this question was asked earlier but here goes. What do you do after you end a combo with Garudyne? More specifically, what do you do to pressure the opponents wakeup from Garudyne's hard knockdown?

  9. You ever have that feeling of extreme boredom, when to just pass the time, you just head into training mode and practice stuff? Well, I managed to find the easiest way to confirm our fatals in sukukaja, and it only requires us to be at point blank range or just a character length. All one needs to do is just hit 2C > 5C > immediate 236B to instantly confirm into a J2C. However, you gotta work on the timing when in the corner and you have to time an EX dash when you are backed into a corner. THIS WORKS ON EVERYONE YAAAAAYYYY

  14. One of my all time favorite matchups and reviving this dead thread is what I live for. ANYWAYS, Kanji won't have the time to get in his fatals due to Yosuke's speed, yet his 5A and grabs often keep us at bay from going in too hard on Kanji. Also, whenever I get hit by Kanji's DP, if I am able to tech before hitting the ground, I can AERIAL UKEMI over Kanji and tag him with JA for a full combo and taking away paralysis. I think Kanji's answer is to use his anti-air persona grab "GOTCHA!!" C version to counter this tactic, but he needs to predict you doing it. Throwing out the various Ds often are pretty helpful, even more so in this fight. I'm not really sure that Sukukaja benefits us in this match because Kanji can catch us blindly running in with his D grab, but our extra speed shall keep that man from hugging us inappropriately ;3 Although in my personal preference, and the numerous years fighting a grappler friend of mine, rushing down constantly has always been my answer for this matchup because you can get away with so much and not have to worry about anything until awakening Kanji happens. Now in awakening, Kanji gets access to his 720, (Which is a pretty dumb choice for balancing a grappler but OK) and after the 6 frames until the superflash, if you are not a fair distance away, already jumping, DPing or anything not near kanji, that shit is a zero frame grab and kiss nearly half or 60% of your health gewdbai. This is the part of the match where I can easily recommend doing the lame out approach that any sane Yosuke would do at this time. So in summary, Kanji has some options, but we easily have more, plus mobility. Kanji only has to get one knockdown to turn things around so hover around midrange and pepper him with various persona attacks and stagger every ONCE in a while. Yosuke by default can get away with numerous dumbass things, but once Kanji gets into awakening, that is when you lay off and just annoy him from long range, because trust me, Kanji's can come back after a well placed 720. I personally think this is 5-5, but I know I am wrong, ONLY because I just loooooove rushing down Kanji and Kanji practically LIIIIIIIIVES off of knockdowns. I apologize if this post dragged on ^^;
  15. Alright, now before I get started, I'm a decent Yosuke too, so what I have to say isn't absolute, so probably the other yosuke's can give better feedback, but here goes. Vid #1: 00:17, I noticed you were autopiloting into 5C off an air hit. You have the three hits of 5B to confirm that you have juggled them into D Nails, I mean Yosuke kunai. (God damn Bang terms) 00:18, You did a pretty nice conversion of your fatal into the 4.6K beginner combo, which is great for keeping it simple, but you should practice his 5K meterless combo (FC 2C > 236B > J2C > 2A > 2C > J236A~A > Delay J236A~A > Delay J2C > 2A > 2B > 2C > air stuff) I keep messing up that combo sometimes, but grinding training mode for that combo usually helps 00:34, You crafty man, DPing for a burst bait after a fatal 2C... I must stealz it. Also, I saw you attempt a wake up 2C during Mitsuru's cuop. Please don't. It hurts if it hits you. Just DP it :D 01:10, I see so many Yosuke's online keeping on moonsaulting over others after dash spring is blocked. If that mitsuru learned that you get a nice counter airthrow by jumping back, that would hurt you. Later in the vid, I seen mitsuru DP it, which certain characters can do successfully. bonus note regarding coups, you tried to 2C after being hit by the A coup, but that 2C isn't as fast as a trusty 5A or just blocking. VIDEO NUMBAH 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALU: Well, as far as I see, you were pretty on point. Good job. Buuuut, you should be familiar with Yosuke's glide ability. Its pretty fun to do and leads to some completely awesome mixups if utilized correctly. Its also used as a means of saving money on gas during long trips. And gliding increases mobility so much. OVERALL PERSONAL ASSESMENT SUMMARY THINGY STUFF!!!: From what I've seen, you were good with what you know with Yosuke, but you don't nearly know all of his more favorable options, such as gliding. All I can say is, go into training mode and just glide around, and work on knowing the enemies position when you get a confirm. We can play sometime soon and I can help you improve your Yosuke via dumbest mirror in the game. Sorry if I sounded mean during any of these points, I only wanted to help q.q
