  1. Romancancel.com's #R frame data said it was just an unblockable hit with very short range if I recall correctly, but I don't know if that is really true.
  2. SCORE! Thank you!
  3. Who has relatively favorable matchups against Sol? EDIT: Just to be clear, favorable *in the US*. I don't need to beat Japanese Sols lol.
  4. Question!!!!!!!!!! Baiting bursts with Millia: Tips/tricks/advice? Do you guys use any special block strings or combos that you know to be burst safe when you are expecting a blue burst?
  5. Turtling is the hunting of turtles, a practice formerly a big part of the economy in many nations of the west indies. In recent times, however, it has become outlawed.
  6. They're called "terminal strips" n00b.
  7. I'll agree to that when you find me a 70 year old who can beat me. Or a 5 year old.
  8. About 2K/2S: okay. So it won't beat a perfectly-timed reversal throw. That's what I thought before.
  9. Thanks for the Milla vs. Baiken match, Charred. Too bad Millia gets raped
  10. Haha. I just started with Millia and was getting reversal thrown a lot, then I decided "hey, why don't I just bait throws by doing (most of the things Teyah said except #3 because I didn't know that was possible)." Tried them out, they all worked great against my friend's Baiken. I'm starting to get an idea of how to use Millia's okizeme. It seems like she has a bunch of great tools to cover most common situations an opponent might use to escape her okizeme mixup (throw, backdash, jump out, DP, etc). So you have to guess which one they'll try and do and use a tool that will smack down that particular tactic. But even if you guess wrong, most of her important okizeme moves either hit high or low, so you get a "bonus round", basically. (For example, "well, they didn't backdash like I was expecting, but they were blocking wrong.") It's a double threat. And that's before you add in crossups. It's really fun! Regarding the 2K or 2S... How exactly does that work? Do they have throw invincibility?
  11. That was a great post, Dan. Thanks.
  12. After H tandem top hits you can usually run in, 5S (close or far), 2H, air combo. 214P in the corner is the same, except obviously you have to FRC it. 214P, FRC, dash in, slash, 2H, corner loop air combo.
  13. Not sure. The link would have said "?GGXXSlash????__1P__???_(BAIKEN)__VS__2P__???_(MILLIA)__" Edit: Stupid dustloop and its lack of support for Japanese characters.
  14. Damn I keep forgetting to check Arcade Monster Gogo every day. Does anyone have the Millia vs. Baiken vid they posted recently?
  15. Yeah I got a PM about it. He CLAIMED that loli panties cross the line. (But really, I think we all know that your avatars were making theirs look bad.) And I am using it on SRK :-O
  16. Orka! The avatar you made for me was deleted by a mod or admin or something I miss Habanero-tan
  17. No, normally a move that prorates only affects the combo if it is the first hit. So you can use a move that prorates in the middle of a combo and it won't change the damage %, but if you use it first, it will.
  18. Even if they do create such a game, would you really want to play online? A game where 1/30th of a second can mean the difference between hitting a combo that does half life or missing it and getting punished for half life? Even lag you can't notice is still probably a few frames off, which if you adapt to, will mess with you whenever you play offline. That's why a lot of good Street Fighter players don't play on Live. Or so I hear. I suck at 3s. Also I guess if you just can't find ANY comp, online is better than the CPU... But I'd never do it.
  19. Dude, you rule. Are you going to be at Ohio or ECC? Also, haha, the reason I like Millia vs. Anji vids is because Millia is my main and Anji will be my secondary as soon as I get comp that forces me to actually learn anything more complicated than spamming 6H > guardpoint super.
  20. There are two kinds of bursts. There's a defensive burst that occurs when your character is in hit or block stun, or on the ground. When you perform this burst, your character will rise off the ground slightly (or if you're in the air, float a little higher) and then a blue halo/aura will appear around you. This is why it's known as a "blue burst." It's used either to escape pressure or break a combo you're caught in. It does this by blowing the opponent across the screen if it connects. The second kind is offensive. If you're not in hit or block stun or on the ground when you burst, the aura is gold in color. If your opponent is hit, not only does it send him across the screen, but your tension bar fills to 100%. To perform a burst, press any button and Dust at the same time. P+D, K+D, etc. You can only perform a burst a couple times a match. The burst meter right below your health meter shows you how close you are to being able to burst. When the meter is pulsating and full, you can burst. When it is crossed out or when it isn't completely full, you can't burst. Be careful not to burst at the wrong time, because it will leave you vulnerable while you recover. Edit: Or, what Henaki said :-/
  21. Thanks, Dan. I actually deleted my post right before you posted lol. Or maybe right after.
  22. >_< Screw you guys lol. Eli's father does not know what he is talking about. I think the long hair threw him off or something.
  23. Gunflame Buri = Medicine Melancholy = Eli = tall skinny black dude who lives in Maryland right outside the Washington DC beltway = his dad doesn't like me for some reason and once asked Eli if I was gay
  24. Oh man, did they have an AN vs. MI vid recently at arcademongogo.com ?? I missed it. Does anyone have that one?
