It's no picture of a half-naked nerdy girl, but Taokaka certainly did say "Hot meals are excellent" or whatever that phrase is on console CS. Also it's pretty funny that TaoFTW can do taunt combos on many different arcade cabinets where Start is positioned all over the place and he has to do acrobatics to hit it, but on console when he can put it whereever he wants to he drops them constantly. [edit] Rin, you should learn - if you decide to take it upon yourself to do this kind of stuff then the rabble doesn't care what you're going through. Try making Marvel videos. ;^)

Those arcade machine sticks were not the best, gotta be honest. But it was AMAZING to see everyone! MTP and Max and Honnou and PhaethonH and TaoFTW and Rin all in the same place is like some sort of alternate universe. Also seconded JamKiske. (O.o) To the girls who were learning BB, don't give up - you weren't bad, just block more. :^) Everyone else, keep playing on stick/controller/dance pad/whatever, as long as it's fun. Big thumbs up to ALL the other Tager players, keep reppin bottom tier! Tager mirrors are hilarious and random, every single time. You landed it for reals, don't apologize. It's not like I never lose. Sorry for the 15 other wins, though. ;^)

Yep, and if you need more time, 22[D] 720 ]D[ C. Gadget recovery is 16f, plenty of time to get a 720 out there since you only need to hide that first Up, like Manta said. Trying to do standing 720 (or anything fancy, really) on AI sticks just gets you killed.

If there's a laptop, I'll run it. I have no qualms about it. However, if I run it, if we have to look for anyone for more than 2 minutes you're DQ'd. No exceptions besides me. :^)

Someone reminded me of Rachel-only combos, I'm not sure why these aren't here yet: - 5A->5B->3C, 5C->6A xx AC, EGadget (1725) - un-magnetized 360B, 6A->2C xx AC (4587) - magnetized 360B, 6A->2C xx AC, 5D (4694) However, 360A is amazing, since it's a better move and you get nearly the same dmg: - unmagnetized 360A, 5C->5D (CT combo, 3080) - magnetized 360A, 5C->2D (3109) - magnetized 360A, 5C->6A xx ACx2, 2C xx AC, 5D (4202) - magnetized 360A, 5C->6A xx ACx2, 2C xx Spinny, Gadget (4846, 5500 with Terra) - magnetized 360A, 5C->6A xx ACx2, 2C xx Spinny, 5C->4D (4970, builds 40 meter total)

Tager's j.B will clash with Rachel's 6A if he does it properly - it hits the autoguard and then gets held by the hitstop long enough that the hit will clash. It's actually really easy...so don't rely on this advice too much. :^)

CH = frame until which he is considered in CH state. So 5A has 7 startup, 3 active, and 7 recovery, and CH is 9, so for all of the startup and the first 2 active frames he is in CH state.

Akira's FC combo is listed wrong: CH 2C, j.2C, 2B->2C xx AC, step fwd elbow, 2B->ASledge, 5C->6A xx AC, EGadget. It gives 53 meter, and doesn't work on (at least) Hakumen. (^.^)

A bit of Tager philosophy: My rounds almost always end with a super. Not only that, but most of them end with me overkilling the opponent by quite a bit - in other words, I hit with something that does 2500 dmg when they only have 500 health left, so it still would have finished them if they had more life. Therefore, I am usually willing to sacrifice a small bit of dmg (300-400) on a combo in the middle of the round to get extra meter. With this in mind, lately my favorite FC combo is: CH 2C, j.2C, 2B xx ASledge, 5C->6C jc j.2C, 5B->5C->6A xx AC, BSledge, 3C. It only does 3600 dmg, but it gives 52 (!) meter, doesn't require magnetism, works on everyone anywhere, even Carl, and forces a bounce-tech at the end or else you can Gadget them before they can roll. Heh. Of course if you are in the corner when you 2C, you want to do the more damaging variant, but this gives quite a bit more meter than any other midstage FC combo, and gets you a tech trap at the end.

Your personal worst matchup, hoo boy...look forward to CS, it just gets worse. :^) Well, everybody plays differently; I try to give general advice, but if you have better mindgames with Spark then by all means keep it. I guess CS changed my playstyle in that regard since you get them faster. You do sit on meter quite a lot though.

Now, I love me some Jojo's (used to be tournament caliber), but you forfeit your right to crap on Blazblue if you play that. Ora ora ora! :^)
