  2. Would someone type out some useful bnb stuff? Mitsuru seems to be missing a combo thread but that could be because of the new game being so fresh. We had some matches today with two friends. They played Adachi, Akihiko and Yosuke. Mitsuru's normals feel like Venom normals :D So slow, so slow.

  4. Walk back a bit and then 214A, there is time. Vatista's flash kick might get you but usually I feel safe against other characters.
  5. I had a dream last night I used the command grab to anti-air Orie's j.C. It was sweet. Then I woke up.
  6. There is no magic there. It's a special cancel so you have to have 236 input after 2C and press A when 2C hits. I think you can also just input 2C go 3 6 and A and it should work. edit: as for the 2nd 2C, you have to to input the 2C right when he finishes the recovery animation of 6B btw I still can't do the [jC] followup 662B so you are not alone in yout scrubbiness :D

  9. Can you really after 236A do a fully charged j.C and pick it up with 2B midscreen? Tried that so many times and not a single time got it timed right Either the j.C whiffs (too late) or the dummy gets pushed too far away from your landing spot.

  11. Can you please explain these to me. I didn't understand a thing about "grapps" watching the video. It has something to do with escaping from continous pressure I think.
  12. As a relatively new player I, too, am worried about this. Just when I've barely learned the basic mixup tools in BB and GG there's this game where those don't immediately apply. Scary stuff :D The crossup protection doesn't really change that much IMO, it only shifts the moment to change the block direction from the previous crossup apex into the moment of landing. (You can't really do running jump over opponent and airdash back ->hit anymore though.) The noob struggle is real.
  13. Does some one happen to have good quality freeze frames form the new chemical love animation? There's this cool effect where the electricity turns into small sound squares, if you will. I'd like to get some ink similar to that.
  14. The dubious loop got way easier when a friend reminded me that I can buffer the 4 on dubious curve before the 2S. Would not have thought it myself lol. Also, built a hitbox controller so there's been a slight delay in adapting and learning. With the new controller I still have a hard time TKing mad struggle so the mixup is lacking quite a bit. I try to compensate it by IAD jump-ins but most of the time opponents just need to block low to not get hit. I have made some progress too but not as quickly as one would hope of course. BlackSnake's UFGT games were very good and they gave lots of ideas! He also had a nice c.S anti-air aerial combo which led into corner carry c.S. in a single combo. Should try to copy that.
  15. People who have played unib or uniel, how fast is it compared to GG or KoFXIII? Those games really are at my limit so I'm hoping here it wouldn't be faster. The commands are of course simpler for every character so that should bring the difficulty down a notch.
  16. I've practiced it off of c.S(3) 6K Dubious. The sweet spot for the 2S is still off. The Dubious Curve after that is a normal gatling, right, so should be a no-brainer. It'll come!
  17. Yeah, I can see them adapting pretty quickly. I try to learn some new tricks little by little. Now I'm practicing some basic combos to deal some more damage. Dubious loop in the corner is very tight, I should save that a bit later. For now some solid midscreen stuff into oki it is. Thanks for the support and tips!
  18. They mostly curse the balls. Balls just being there are so good. You don't even have to activate them after summoning. ".....The pressure is real" was my favourite thing to hear the other day while keeping the opponent in the corner. I love it.
  19. I've practiced Venom for about a month now. I'm a relatively new player of ~8 months so it's not been too easy but I'm starting to manage! I like it when I get to do many small decisions in a match instead of scoring 3 or so big combos. The dubious curve loops are something I can't do yet and the charge inputs aren't that consistent but they'll come eventually for sure. First get used to the simple things and build from there! I've struck fear to my opponents a few times so that's a really good sign.

  21. I like how Juicebox emphasises that KoF13 does not have any grapplers. They are just characters with command grab specials. I'd like to think of Waldstein the same way.
