That's what I generally hear, that R2 is a complete trainwreck compared to the original. HOWEVER, my 3 friends that I chat with about anime swear that R2 is 1000000000000x better than R1. So now i question their taste in anime lol.

Hahaha. Yeah it's a pretty funny show. My friends and I are kinda nonstop sexjokes too so it only adds to the hilarity. I think some of the stuff that I just didn't find funny was some of the japanese wordplay (like X can be prounounced either Y or Z) so that might be why I'm missing it or something I haven't seen R2 actually. Was it any good?

It was really shitty episode 5 and 6ish. 7 was pretty fucking hilarious but yeah. It's just sex jokes. Lots and lots of sexjokes.

Oh dear, well if you do like the sound of that, then i'll throw my top 10 out there. If you liked Bakemonogatari and you like lain then you should probably enjoy most of this. Haibane Renmei (psychological anime about suicide and life) Kino's Journey (kinda about growing up) Ga-Rei: Zero (super depressing anime about the building [and destroying] of a friendship) Serial Experiments Lain Bakemonogatari Welcome to the N.H.K! (about an otaku Hikkikomori who finally kinda finds out about life) Yojouhan-Shinwa Takei (probably the most well made anime i've seen in the past 3 years) Mushishi (all about life and the japanese view on it) Terra E... (hard Sci-fi) Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (Another SHAFT work like Bakemono - about a teacher who's extremely pessemistic and his crazy class of girls with tons of problems)

Lain is a god tier anime, and in my top 10. That being said 1) Not very much happens in terms of action, hope that doesn't bother you 2) I don't know if you'll be able to understand (no offense) the comments Lain makes about society (but that really depends on how much you understand the japenese society) 3) You'll probably want to commit suicide after you finish it if you DO understand what happens. 4) I really liked it haha.

I've seen like 150+ series (which isn't really all that much) but since I started using MAL i'm rewatching most of it and only adding stuff to my completed list once I download and rewatch it haha :P I mostly prefer Cyberpunk/psychological/mystery stuff so like Haibane Renmei, Ghost in the Shell, Ergo Proxy, Darker than BLACK, Paranoia Agent, Perfect Blue, etc. etc. But really I like everything haha.

Umm. Well let's see here. There's a lot, like a lot of vagina/attempts at sex jokes. The first 2 episodes were extremely funny, the third was pretty funny, 4th was meh, 5th and 6th have really dropped off. I can't say it's anywhere near my top anime (It's alot like Seitokai No Ichizon with more sex jokes if you've seen Seitokai No Ichizon, or alot like B Gata H Kei with how much it revolves around sex). It really depends on whether you like pointless comedy with limited character development and A LOT of offensive jokes. So yeah, take it for what you will haha.

I started playing this game because of a japanese video actually hahahahaha :D I'll have been playing a year in like january haha.

I played competetively for a bit. Blazblue is my first real fighting game so i'm just trying to get adjusted to how it plays and the whole mentality (i've always been a WoW/DotA/HoN player)

Haha it's all good. I drive super smash bros players around all the time. Age doesn't matter to me, only that people are polite when not trolling and don't take trolling seriously.

Your english isn't weird at all. At least i don't notice it. I used to raid with people from canada all the time in WoW so i'm used to how people from canada talk. And we'll play soon. as soon as my TE comes in i'm practicing as much as possible haha.

The one thing i'm glad i won't be dropping is IAD's to the right. My current controller doesn't register them at all. So i've lost a few games due to jumping up and down like an idiot 3 or 4 times and then eating a combo. And play agrressive but safe. Actually I understand exactly what you're saying. Got it :D
