Not familiar with this in BB, but i do this a lot in SSF4, basically start at back and hit the button, spin 1 and half circle to end at forward, now just hold forward for a little while and then do the last half circle ending at back and hit the button for a 720. I think its pretty tricky with 5A though since its so fast.

Well Ragna can lose almost every match on paper even vs Tager and Lambda. Hazama destroys Lambda and Tager from my experience. Not saying that Hazama is better than Ragna, just saying that 50/50 matchups doesn't exactly put you in S tier.

Potemkin sucked back in GG and GGX if a remember correctly, it was not until GGXX he started to get good, also Tager the character is not bad, just some of his matchups...

This is from the top of my head i could be wrong with some characters. Tager 13000 HP Hakumen 12000 HP Bang, Jin 11500 HP Rachel, Litchi, Hazama, Tsubaki, Noel, Makoto 11000 HP Arakune 10500 HP Ragna, Lambda, Mu 10000 HP Carl, Taokaka 9500 HP I'm not entirely certain on all the new characters, but the CT characters all had this in CT except for Taokaka and Bang which got nerfed HP a little bit. As for bar ratios i got no clue, i think most if not all characters have more than 60% hp left when there bar is half full though.

Yeah thats true, but characters like Taokaka, Hazama, Lambda or even Rachel is harder to curse than Ragna. Not saying Arakune walks over Ragna or anything just saying that he pretty much has to eat at least one cloud to get in wheres other characters have safer approaches.

I found jump 2C work well vs an aggressive Taokaka, don't throw them out to frequently though, or you will get punished.

^ Isn't D and E tier unplayable? Since i don't think any character is unplayable, not even Rachel.

Its never good to play the whole roaster, but i say that everybody even pros, should at least play some other characters than their main. However for tournaments and such i say its best to stick with just one character and not counter pick it might get you somewhere, but never all the way imo, not even in street fighter where counter picking is a bigger part of the game than it is in BB.

Picking up subs for me is hard as well. I don't help that my best sub is nerfed into oblivion (Rachel). I found Hazama pretty easy to play, yes even the movement and stuff so i'm trying to pick him up, i'm just having a huge problem, getting out of pressure. It feels like his only tool is IB houtenjin, but the person i play the most is a very good Ragna, so he usually counters that move with a Infernal Divider. Maybe i just suck, but it feels like Tager is the only character that works for me, in SSF4 i can play pretty much every character competitively except El Fuerte.

^ Ragna's approach is his biggest problem, he pretty much has to eat at least 1 cloud to get close. When he is cursed the round is over.

Pretty sure Tager has at least 6-4 in favor what are you on about? Not like any good Tager is gonna spam sledge mindlessly, 1 gadget finger and Noel is screwed. Every tier list i've seen of him he is A-tier, think we all can agree on that, i put him above Ragna cause i really don't think Ragna is as good as people give him credit for, he is the most played char, yet most Ragna matches i see without Kaqn in it, he usually loses.

S tier: Litchi, Bang, Arakune A tier: Carl, Ragna, Hakumen, Hazama B tier: Lambda, Taokaka, Jin, Tager, Noel C tier: Tsubaki, Rachel My own tier list, based on experience and videos of Japanese matches, its of probably, but i still say its more accurate than the page one list.

Ragna lower, Lambda, Jin and Arakune higher is my opinion on the on the current tier list. Edit, i'm not referring to this tier list, but the arcadia one.

Both the audio and the visuals get delayed online, so this wont to squat for online play, interesting idea if you only play offline though.

Coming from a Tager main, i don't really see how zoning is any good in this match up. I fought a Mu that tried, just some voltic charges, and thats the end of that. Her rushdown was much more annoying. But when you rushdown, do not chain 5C to 6C since, IB> A-sledge beats out that every time. I wouldn't say huge advantage to Mu, definitely more beatable than Lambda, Hazama and the top 3 (for Tager).

So i fought a decent Mu for the first time yesterday and after i got tiered of destroying her with Tager i picked Lambda (1 of my subs) and i don't see how this matchup is in Mu's favor, the only place where she felt like a threat was close range. At long range and mid range Lambda has the advantage imo, steiners at full screen = 4D for Lambda which should give you enough time to put up the sword wall which lets you get into mid range, here, everything Mu does is punishable with either 5D counter hit into 236C or just 236B counter hit which leads to a combo. The Mu i fought might not been the best, but she had sick combos and nice rushdown.

OK man, characters that can oneshot the char with highest HP in the game are not top tier material... He has some bad match ups, but guess right twice and the round is over.

^ Gadget on a 2 star Hakumen is not that stupid, just barrier jump to bait that shit out, if he uses it free 720 or 360.

Rachel is immortal afaik, she cant die as long as she has a reason to stay in the world, that reason being Ragna. And since the main character usually don't die, i think its safe to say that Rachel is immortal.

Shouldn't you follow up 5B with 3C instead of 5C? thats usually what i do when i play Ragna, for 22C enders.

Only character with better cross ups is Carl imo.

You do know that Tagers damage is crap outside of throws and magna tech wheel (requires meter) right?
