  9. Deathspike has 28 frames of start up 5b has 8 frames of start up. Or they can just Jump and J.C Especially if your opponent is Instant blocking. I just wouldn't be using it close up like most ragnas. I would only use DS on my opponents wake up as a potential meaty
  10. Who would use ID at a range where it would whiff over DS :/ hell if you see DS start up you can just go into 5b.
  11. Oh and for the love of god, Try not to get sandwhiched inbetween the two. This is obviously close to impossible if your playing a good carl but keep that in mind. Don't do a careless jump in just be stuck in a ragna sandwhich. Also carl has pretty quick normals in his arsenal. Don't forget to mix in throws and frame traps.
  12. Neutral game: You and carl are going to be sitting on opposite sides of the screen trying to poke eachother. Carl is going to try to hit you with Ada Usually Ada's 6d or Ada's 41236D now keep in mind carl will be trying to get in on you, If he whiffs one of ada's moves hit ada with a well spaced 5c/2b/2a. If he tries Ada's 41236d try to super jump back dash to avoid it. IF blocked he can vivace to the other side and begin his sandwhich mix up and pressure. You need to know: Carl's 6a is a fucking godly Anti air. But if whiff'd it has a slow recovery so you can react with a 5b punish. A huge pet peeve of mine in this match up. If carl summons ada, When she appears she will be vulenerable. this may sound good but no. While doing what ever block string you were doing or if you just got a hit confirm on carl the exact time she was summoned you will get pushed back enormously losing all your corner momentum. Vivace (236a and 236b) a move where he passes through you in an effort to escape the corner or even get out an obvious gap in your pressure. No problem, If you see it,it can be punished by 2a or 5b. Also carl's Cross up j.2c can be punished on reaction with an Anti air 5a or 6a. This is all I can think of atm.
  13. Also Don't ever use Death spike in this match up, Its very easy to react to it with an ID or a 2a.
  14. Ragna mirrors. What I use at neutral: Rock paper sciccors with the following normals: 5b 2b 5c If you think the ragna is going to sit back and do nothing run in 5b If You see him running at you use a well spaced 2b. If you want to get in and start the leading offensive run in 5b. (5c/5b in to HF RC into pressure is what I usually like to do.) IF you know ragna's mix up you shouldn't have that many problems since you can just DP on reaction. What makes this match up boring is that who ever can keep the momentum going has the biggest advantage. Bait the shit out of inferno dividers.

  25. y Midscreen BE? What were you trying to do with that D.ID ender with KD should be the only thing you would want. Wouldn't advise to let a Zoning charecter to be all free like that. Yea the plat match up isn't as complicated it as it looks, You just have to know what her items do and what her mix up game is. 1:45 of that video you gave up a 2k damage combo and KD again for what ever reason :/ Its more preferable to do a GH after a 5b for you have many more options other then that afterwards. 5b 2b / 5b GH / 5b 3c / 5b 2b 66 2b/ 5b 2b 66 throw / 5b 2b 2c / etc Just about giving your opponent less time to think instead using all those Mid-hitting normals. I always use 5c after a 2c 2c GH 2c 6c 2c 5c -to catch a punish attempt- 2c 3c 2c Gh and 2c 6c have huge gaps inbetween the gatlings for a charecter with a reversal. Correct me if im wrong I liked how you used 6b on the opponents wake up, never use it in a block string very obvious animation, but online who reacts to the shit anyway. with 50 meter 6b is your best friend in the corner I'm very reserved with it. HF/3c whatever Kd. Opponent neutral techs. Throw / 2c to catch mashing / or 6b / 2b cause its a low/ 2a xn frame trap/ or 2a into whatever blockstring etc. If the 6b lands in the corner the most a very strong combo would be - 6b 5c 6c BK 6d JC BE 5d DS 6s ID > 236c - Kick follow up > fall Aerial GH land > 5d > HF + follow up > 44 3c >HF + follow up> DBD should be around 6,000 damage. You can get 6k off the throw as well if you manage to land that with 50 meter. But Ragna life sucking as it is they burst and your in a huge disadvantage being in BK and all :/
