[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)

Who? The majority expects her to be playable herself actually... Me included, she needs the fighting style fitting her bitchy- and *use others to acomplish goals* personality. -

That's why we would expect her to ride a big robot of some other high tech assist, wouldn't we??? *stop shaking already, itch* -
I wonder if she'll get funnier in cp... Csex may be nicely ballanced, but tao got remarkably boring without her midscreen loops and damage. To me at least.

That could possibly open combo paths too. Think about it. -

Now that's sounds fine even without SHP switch off :3 considering the example above it could pretty much mean 4-5K midscreen off most starters. Even 5CC OTG into 2D sounds real now. -

That was my point too actually, but when I ground some of her present combos, I couldn't see where those 3f advantage could have been applicable. But maybe some new routes will be presented in CP to put sense into it. Gotta be. -

There must be a good reason for her auto lv3 drive. -

I wonder, if the moves' specs change in OD mode? I mean P2 value. E.g.: Makoto gor SHP on her lv3 D's, may it be possible to combo in OD without SHP, like in CS1/2? Would have been cool! Since D's get auto lv3 in her OD. -

And what is with Persona? I really don't get it then. It is also by Arksys, isn't it? Excuse my incompetence... -

You wouldn't be worried, you mean, they won't partner with Atlus this time? Or is it just too far ahead till the distributor company is known? Kyosuke you're god -

Lads, I suddenly found myself wondering, what are the chances that cp will be region locked for ps3 the same way persona was? -

The speed at which a move with such a range as ragna's 5b comes out - can be called ridiculous, compared to similar moves of other characters. And 5c is one of the best and fastest long pokes in the game. These two specs mix is awesome, meaning they are awesomely fast an such ranges. Is that clear like this? I still don't see Makoto as the weakest, since there simply is extend tao who lost all her attractiveness and charm together with her midscreen damage, loops, etc. Symm, yeah, I wouldn't have posted it too if I were you. You've polished your first post multiple times by now, and now it may sound fine, but first words were pretty much shit. And you were completely wrong on Mu, but still a whole ass of confidence. Yes, I do hate that when I'm in a mood to talk shit myself, anyways, forget it no need for apologizing. Non-Russians are too nice in the internet! XD -

Okay, but you still don't make sense. What other specs? Ragna's mixup is pretty nice when used smartly. What the hell other specs? You mean zoning or what? Its obvious he doesn't. He's a rush character, so what other specs do you mean? Mu's mixup is godlike when powered by steins or 50 metered, and that IS enough. So don't jump out of nowhere posting posts, contradicting others, which say practically nothing. Ragna does have high specs in relatively most aspects, when other chars lack or excel at something to this or that extend in blazblue. That's the gameplay's trademark. Where ragna, cs1&2 makoto, and cs noel were/are exceptions. Stop with this nonsense, back up your words first, and prove she is the worst. You've said nothing of value so far. -

You don't get my point Sym. Awesomely Fast normals with awesome reach and great damage are enough to call him an all high specs character in general. His mixup is fine when done by right hands. Not the scariest, but enough to be a top tier with all other strongs. Mu's mixups and frametraps complemented by her zoning will leave you clueless, and every single jab will lead to either 4K or to fine anal frametrap okis. But what makes her top is her fast reach and incr. damage on the first hand. Where the hell do you get that nonsense? You're contradicting yourself, if the game is balanced, she shouldn't be worst. That's really a weak point. Try backing up this statement with some facts, otherwise it sounds super retarded, even from such an adorable userpic... So why don't we try actually DOING it first, before opening our mouth, then? Please advise what you think. -

Well, I really see it a bit other way, but I entirely agree that CS2 Makoto was very close to perfection. But my general position is that Top tiers are bad. I am maining Mu who is one hell of a top tier in EX. with hellish hitboxes and 5.5K average dmg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FQ76-Eqn60 And I sincerely think she needs her nerfs. The same with Makoto. CS1 you say? Did you see Tsujikawa's CS1 combo vids? For 10-11K DMG off midscreen starters? This IS broken and needs revision. CS2, well, the finest Makoto, yes. But again, top tier... I dunno, too straightforwardly strong. Both damage and hitboxes. The char is no fun when all the specs are too high. Like, say, Ragna... what's the fun of winning as such a character? Now she's relatively nice in my opinion. I just look at Goro matches, brushing asses of half of Japan :D -

But basically she is not half bad in csex. she can do 5K pretty much easily in the corner and easy 3.5K midscreen. Her attack boxes got nerfed like hell, yes. That's got to be changed back: rape: csex - cs2 2A 5B 6B 3C 6C j.A j.CC j.2C But aside from that she is a strong character in CSEX im my opinion, after having subbed her for a couple of months. -

You serious? Those are global, but reworks ow kagutsuchi port, train station, murakumo level, etc. completely new are ikaruga and a few more. Even winter seems to be a rework of something old. Pity for you not being able to distinguish such simplicity. Global rework is truly a lot of work, but a whole lot easier then building a brand new stage. Without templates and elements ready. -

Chars got 'remixed' = good, music got remixed = good, stages got remixed = no good? That clearly not the case, see? They just think all the stages are brand new. And old ones are left behind. I just say take a closer look, those are old ones mostly, just reworked. So no precedent even. -

Where does that come from? For real? ______ About stages talks... Guys seriously... Stop that kindergarden act with 'dropping old stages is stupid and unreasonable' damn, did you actually take a look at new stages yet? Did you? There were a couple of shots, remember? Great! Then, if you saw them, you really should finally goddammit get that they are all re-fucking-worked old stages except for 3 ones at max. Seriously for crying out loud, they give you those old stages actually, and you frown at them without having an idea... They are mostly reworks! Just take a closer look! Sorry, got ahead of myself a bit. :3 Damn you, Kyosuke! ______ Last one, to 360rs: may it be just a campaign to get all you billyboys out there buy those new n gorgeous super slim ps3 consoles revealed at tgs? :3 XD -
