Yet their play now says that Tao is all that neutral oriented anymore. Okis, corner carries... 6C buff gives more opportunities pressure-wise.

At first it seemed for the worse, but now, as jp tao players have used her for awhile, she looks much better and stronger. What I guess we all hope for is a strong character with pretty difficult combos and many specific notes. Basically, she is not what she used to be any longer. She may prove even more dangerous than she was in CS2 in terms of confirming, spacing and tricks, but no more stupid 7k loops. It is as I see it.

OMFG! Guys, I take my bitching back, Tao does seem to have some nice midscreen damage. It seems to be universally possible to get 2-3k in off even some shitty starters via j.2b > j.c route. I feel a positive vibe. Now we seem to have different 4 general combo-routes (at least): old AtA, j.2b > j.c, to the corner route and corner only route. If I am worried for my SoD to be punished or beat, I do not use it at all. She's got pretty nice options besides it. e.g. 3c - j.2c will beat the hell out of everyone who is trying to beat your SoD on its first frames (like hell's fangs and other fast moves).

He is a copy/paste of GG'd Eddy, if we are talking. I find him awesome. Cute zoning options, creative pressure and wicked corner combos. May probably be not a bad addition for a Mu player. Including him being the one who created her in the first place Also, do not see any Carl in him. It is evident, drive mechanics are different, he uses Ignis attacks like stand-alone special moves, without moving and controlling her all the time.

How can you use 6C three times in a combo? It was same hit prorate, as I remember. Or are they freeing this move from SHP?

Nice topic btw. I personally am still not sure how it is better to act "on the first frame". On the one hand Mu feels best with her back farther from the corner, so pokes. On the other, it is a bad habit to spam on the first frames, and 1stF stein can be rushed down. So IAD back must be the safest, yet you put your ass closer to the corner. Not sure what to do. What I am sure about is that the whole tactics should be of unexpected change of strategies. When you don't stick to any for too long you are harder to read and react to.

Guys, is it by any chance possible that later on there will be discovered maybe more powerful combos and paths? Or is it unlikely? It is no joke having no midscreen damage. Without any zoning tools and casual corner damage it smells of truly a low tier. You saw in the stream how hard he struggled just to confirm shitty <1k stuff? Efforts far beyond the reward he got. Sorry to sound discouraging, I rarely bitch at nerfs, but I really feel frustrated now.
