  1. I switch between safe/risky, and between Defensive/Offensive depending on the situation, and any combination. But it's always important to read your opponent first, determine what will work best against them, if you notice they prefer blocking, that's your chance to actually use pressure, if you notice they like to throw out an attack if you even move an inch, then that's when you play it safer.
  2. Right, I forgot about that because I was just assuming 2D was the starter(lolNoeljokes). But seriously yeah. There have been alot of situation where 2D saved my ass after a wiffed 5D, against Ragna for example: 5D > wiff(Ragna jumps over, throws out 5B to punish) > d.2D(Goes over 5B). This has happened to me so many times, even against good Ragna players, my Ragna friends like to joke that Noel is broken, thanks to this little situation.
  3. 1. Attempt to 4D so your opponent wiffs or gets hit. 2. Spring Raid and hope it comes out fast enough to nail your opponent. 3. Assault Through, because that move can sometimes work miracles. 4. Hope your opponent fucks up his timing to give you enough time to recover and block.
  4. ggs, fuck yo corner pressure dawg. <3 Seriously though ggs.

  5. Make it Jump Cancellable. Like her unlimited form, or have no landing recovery to make it usable during pressure.
  6. CT: 5 Months. CS: 3 Months. Fucking Noel.
  7. You can already AA 2D
  8. lol no one expects to lose to a Noel, thats why they rage and complain about her D moves when they lose. The thing about me though, I don't claim to be amazing, but I will make it hard for you. Unless you're Tager, then I am free, the free-est of the free, Free-1, R-1's free brother.

  9. lol as if Tager needs match-up XP against Noel :P So he was unhappy? I was just trying to play with a fellow Noel main, and he shows up to the room, I fight him with Noel a couple of times, I got bored and switched to Ragna, he beat me our second mirror though. Tell him that I apologize, and gg lol Hopefully you and I can get to fight sometime, so you can get some of dem free winz.

  10. lol yeah, I was trolling pretty hard though. That's just how I play against Ragna though, so it's nothing personal.

  11. It's just Noel User Fatigue man, NUF has affected all of us Noel Mains.
  12. Nah man, I know my faults and I'm the first to admit them, besides I hear that kind of stuff about Noel too, that's how I got my current sig(The link, not the quote) I make my friends salty because they think they can get away with predictable pressure, and instead of learning to beat it they just bitch about it. Which I admit that I do that same thing with Tager. In my defense though, the match-up really is balls, I'm nothing without my C's, and I'm even less without my D's :C

  13. About Noel's normals. The only way they were made worse as far as "obvious" nerfs, is 6A wiffing crouchers, and 5A not going raep face on your guard. 5A also is -1 instead of +3(it was +something, I forget exactly, I think it was +3 though). However, all of her hitboxes are garbage, 5B was nerfed to hell, and her awesome(looking) 5C has the same problem, great reach, but terrible hitbox. It basically makes it hard to throw out a normal at any range out of fear that her move will be stuffed by a random 5A. I was also thrown out of 5C at max range once, I lol'd, then I sadfaced. ON TOPIC: I can't wait to push D less, *Fingers Crossed*
  14. Challenge 3 may not seem practical, and the combo itself is retarded, but it shows you the way to follow up if your opponent is too far away for 6C to connect, here's a couple of examples. 3C(Max Range) > 22BC > 66 > 5B > 5C > sj > j.C > j.B > dj > j.B > j.C > j.236C (About 3k) Air Grab > 2B > 6C > Throw Wiff > 6C > 22B > 22BC > 66 > 5B > 5C > Air combo listed above.
  15. Its not that I don't know the match-up or that I don't try to play it the way that I'm supposed to, it's just that if I'm playing a casual match or netplay, I don't want to sit on a life lead and wait, fuck that, I wanna be in your face, calling yo mamma a slut. You would also be surprised how much less I use drives offline, I mean I still use them for the same reason, but I'm not as quick to use them, I plan that shit. Netplay though, D BITCH WHATCHUGONDO? I just don't take it as seriously :P We need to play more though, my Mu match-up experience is lacking.

  16. I only play Player matches, so I level alot slower, I was the same way in CT, I got to level 62 before CS came out. Also, 2D isn't losing invuln frames, its making Noel's hitbox bigger, which sounds to me like its going to allow more moves to hit her out of it, Mu's 5C for example, currently 2D beats it clean, but with 2D's increased itbox, it will probably lose to Mu's 5C. Just speculation of course.
  17. Yeah, he's really good, he's won every RanBat Michigan has had so far, so the proof is in the pudding. I still win more against him than I do against any random Tager, let alone Axis, I've won 5 times against Axis so far, which is so few that I can count them.

  18. You say that like it's easy, I'm only level 53, get at me. As far as damage goes, I don't mind doing less damage as long as I land more hits, with good normals I can make that happen, instead of getting stuffed out of all of my "Spacing pokes". While it's still too early to say, I think they have the right idea with CS2, we'll just have to see were it goes in the final product.
  19. Herp, I know, but that's not gonna stop me from making them look like true DPs. Even though they aren't even close, if you hate me with how I use Noel's drives, just be happy I'm not a Ragna main, LOLIBINFERNODIVIDERBROKENTIEROMG!!! Aka Leonil lol.

  20. FFFFFFFFFFFFF This happens to me, but my 2C isn't an anti-air, so I don't know why it happens to me. Just mashing too hard I guess.
  21. I see 2D is getting nerfed for Noel, maybe this will stop people from complaining, like I've said though, as long as her normals become good again, I don't care what they do with her drives.
  22. There are some simple ones that I use that can get you started. At the end of a corner combo ending in bloom trigger: 6C(red beat) > Throw wiff(They Tech) After the throw wiff there are a couple of things you can do, even on reaction. If they neutral tech, throw out another 6C for an anti-air into a combo, if they back tech they will be at the perfect spot to catch them falling into a 6A anti-air, and if they forward tech, you have time to backdash to catch them falling with an anti-air. Like all tech traps these can be beaten by anyone who knows what they are doing, but its a good easy place to start. Another variation of that is: 6C(red beat) > j.A(red beat) > they tech. If they neutral tech you can catch them with an air grab, if they back tech or forward tech you can double jump into an air grab. This was my first tech trap, but again, if an opponent knows whats coming they can beat it easily. These resets are done at the end of a combo, but they happen before you would normally throw out fenrir, and if you are like me I like to throw out 6C after bloom trigger but before fenrir for a little added style/damage, so these are more likely to connect against an opponent that knows you like to do that, because they would still be mashing tech hoping you fuck up fenrir.
  23. Noel's table still says that 5B can gatling to 2B, this is false.
  24. I use 2B > 6C, the only time I ever get an optic barrel is when I 662B > 6C when I'm on the 2P side. Training myself to get over that as well, I'm at about 70% success so far.
  25. Arcade stick all the way, putting the whole pad/stick debate aside, I still firmly believe you have to use a stick for the true fighting game experience(they are still the standards in arcades after all, have you ever seen an arcade pad?).
